Charleston Fish Fry

*Hell yeah, I'm their 1st Yelp Review.. Word up*1st time I've eaten here. If you have seen my other reviews, I'm strict with a 5, as "5's" are perfect, and can't be improved on.Fried Catfish: 5/5. Nothing to improve on here.. Nothing like Mario's, but just as good. Less breading than Mario's. Then again, Mario's used to be better, though too. Fried Whiting: 4/5.Fries: 3/5. Skin on, crinkle-cut, tater tots, are all better, tastier options that stay crispier longer. Hushpuppies: 5/5. Damnnnn. Best puppies I've had in Vegas, by far.. Maybe ever!Red Rice: 4/5. Hard to make bad red rice, and they didn't here either.Presentation: 5/5. It's a cute food truck and the food comes out in normal food truck containers. Wait time was 20ish minutes after ordering, which isn't bad as long as it's not 120 degrees out.Accuracy of order: 3/5. I asked for the coleslaw to be replaced with extra puppies on both meals, saw him select that option on the iPad, but still ended up with coleslaw(coleslaw is just gross to even look at, haha), and no extra puppies.Value for what I received: 4/5. $30 after tip for 2 good meals.OVERALL: 4.0-4.5/5. I rounded up. Plus, the fried catfish is the main attraction here(for ME, at least), and it was very very tasty. Fur surely coming back when they're back in Henderson(or I'm on their side of town for some reason).. For reference, I USED to drive across town just for Mario's, until they raised their prices and the fish started tasting different(Also Mario's sides are VERY basic tasting).

The cat fish is AMAZING!!!!!! Everything came out extremely fresh so thats always a plus. The Tartar Sauce is a 10!!!!! I have been craving their food since the day I finished my plate. DELICIOUS

if you go here don't leave without trying the banana pudding ! Super underrated but fire !
