Our family absolutely love this place!!! They serve tendon for dine in and a whole lot of options for onigiri. Albeit tiny space, it's very homey and organic layout. Very intimate set up. If you're looking for a fresh and satisfying Japanese meal, you have to come and try what they have. Recently, they introduce negitoro bowls and it's a MUST TRY!! They only serve 15 a day. What makes this spot stand out aside from the great food are the staff and cooks. Very attentive and friendly. There's always a wait for dine in options but it's worth every minute of the wait.

A small shop located in Spring Mountain, Chamon truly is a gem. I came here because a friend recommended it to me. You are given the option for takeout with the onigiri or dine-in with the tendon. I had opted to get to-go, and bought waaay more onigiri than I needed to. The staff was kind and explained each onigiri to us. My favorite onigiri was the mackerel, which was buttery and paired well with the ginger in the rice!I would definitely come back to try dine-in!

What a great little spot for tempura, onigiri and sake! Unfortunately I did not catch our server's name, but he helped make the whole experience memorable - not only was he very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, he was also very strategic with timing and efficiency in this cozy restaurant and very thoughtful with his suggestions.I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a separate sake menu with a good mix of nigori, ginjo/daiginjo options. The temperature shrimp was PERFECT 10/10. The staff were all amazing and they sell onigiri to go in addition to the tempura plates/bowls.

Came a few minutes before they opened for dinner. Luckily there weren't many people waiting, so we were seated right away. I tried the premium tempura bowl, the tempura was nice & crunchy. Just a little pricey at $20. We also got onigiris to-go. While we were seated, there was already a lot of people grabbing onigiris & they were starting to sell out. Luckily, our server let us grab some & just add it to our bill. The onigiris varied between $3-$7, we tried a few different ones & my favorite is probably the spicy takana with roe. We even came back the next day to try more onigiris. If you plan on getting onigiris, I'd suggest coming early as they do sell out fast!

We've been to Chamon twice - once for dine in of their tempura and onigiris and the second time to go just for the onigiris. As Chamon is a tiny restaurant with very limited seating, there is a wait whether you want to dine in or grab onigiris to go. If you get in line for their first seating, you are good to go. Otherwise, expect a wait with only 3 counter seats and 5 tables seating a total of 10. They are also only open for lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm, close for a break, and then reopen again for dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm. I do not recommend coming here with parties larger than 4.The day we dined, a new menu announced. This one included Snow Crab, but their Vegetable Tempura Plate no longer included Enoki Mushrooms. On our visit, we got: * Snow Crab Tempura Plate $33.95 - It included 3 snow crab legs, Kisu (Whiting Fish), Soft Boiled Egg, Renkon Lotus Root, Kabocha Squash, Shiso Herb, and Nori Seaweed.* Vegetables Tempura Plate $15.95 - This one included Onion Kakiage, Soft Boiled Egg, Renkon Lotus Root, Kabocha Squash, Maitake Mushrooms, Shiso Herb, and Nori Seaweed. Both plates include rice, miso soup, tempura sauce and pickles. If you get the Bowl versions, it's a $1 less. With the limited menu of 5 items in 2 different forms, the Little Gal didn't want a whole Tempura Plate or Bowl to herself. The waitress suggested we order some side dishes for her and that was our initial plan. However, we also picked up a bunch of onigiris before we sat down and they asked if we were eating them now. The Little Gal wanted her onigiris while we ate our Tempura Plates, so we didn't have to order the side dishes after all. The tempura was good. Was it worth a long wait and the price tag for the snow crab, I'm not so sure. However, we have since gone back to grab their onigiris. They typically run out during the lunch shift and that's when we went. The onigiris are good and came in so many different varieties. As we were the second party in line for dine in and onigiris - they did let us go in second (not like how they initially only let onigiris only go first). There are a few other places in Vegas that offer this variation of onigiri and it's a great grab and go item for sure. Service was fine. There was nothing bad or exceptional about the whole experience.

Onigiri in Las Vegas, Nevada...Reluctantly, I went to Chamon... LOL...My friend, CeCe, really wanted to go here. She had heard great things about it and knew that the hours of operation were unusual and that they were closing at 3pm for a break before dinnertime. Ok... we got there around 2:30pm.We found parking easily and entered the cozy shop that had a small dining area in the back. When I saw the Onigiri, I had to get my camera out and start taking photos. Wow.These were no ordinary musubi. The heart one...The one with the fishcake flower topping...The slice of hardboiled egg on top of a hamburger...They were all so photogenic!Gosh...Service was very helpful and patient. My friend had a few questions and the gal at the cash register was very knowledgeable and friendly! If you want high quality musubi and good service, check out Chamon!

We've been wanting to try Chamon since they introduced their onigiri. Finally tried it, it was delicious!Items tried and liked (so far):Tuna Mayo OnigiriSpicy Teriyaki Chicken Mayo OnigiriTenmusu OnigiriOmu Rice OnigiriHamburger Steak OnigiriAonori Karaage OnigiriChicken Gobo OnigiriSpam Egg Musubi Shiokoji SalmonHojicha Latte Rice was cooked perfectly. Toppings were seasoned just right. Tuna is the best we've had in Vegas, it tastes like when we make it at home. It reminds me of tuna onigiri I grew up eating in Hawaii. Something so simple made right can make all the difference. Hojicha was creamy and delicious! Excellent service. Interior is cute and very tiny. We get our food to go and eat in the car. Parking lot is hectic and can get busy. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

Okay hear me out, this place was great. But I don't think I would give it 4 stars if I had to wait longer than 25 minutes. We came on a Friday a little after lunch and got seated right away. Food was really good, definitely took me back to Japan. I do wish they had more vegetable tempura options but overall great. Staff was also friendly and attentive. Hoping next time we get lucky again and have zero wait time.

This spot is small, with only a couple tables and some bar seats, so there may be a wait if you're wanting to dine in. Luckily, my partner and I walked in and got seated at the bar right away. We started off with their matcha latte, which was great! Not overly sweet and didn't have a bitter after taste. You can tell by the color that it was quality matcha. I got the premium and my partner got the deluxe. It comes with miso soup and some Japanese pickles. The tempura batter was light and not oily. My favorites were the kabocha squash, perilla leaf, and of the course the shrimp. The rice was also a standout! Soft grains that soaked up the remainder sauce. We've tried the onigiri at a different time and it was also tasty, but wish there was more filling in some of them. Get there early for them because they do sell out. Overall, I'd definitely be back! Service was quick and friendly and made sure to check in on us to make sure everything was to our liking.

A tempura based restaurant that features a fun combination of battered bites. Had a great time trying their tempura bowl. They offer different selections like a premium and deluxe option. They also offer a quick grab in the front of the store where you can buy onigiri and other fun options. Would definitely say this place is worth trying although it is on the pricier side. Everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. Wholesome fun and an interesting idea
