This is my first time dining at the Centennial Hills Hospital cafeteria. I ordered a gyro, steak and yellow rice, and a sourdough bread Italian sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on the side. The entire meal cost $13.Everything was delicious and fresh. The customer service was exceptional, and the cooks were friendly. The cafeteria was very clean and offered large portions and a variety of options. I would like to express my gratitude to the hard-working staff.

My mom just had surgery at this hospital and I was starving so as soon as they opened for lunch I ran down. Sadly I've been to a lot of hospital cafeterias over the years so I can compare them pretty well. This one is a bit smaller than most but they still had some good options.I really wanted a salad but to be honest their salad bar looked pretty sad. I saw a lot of people pass it up as well. Pizza area, Mehhh looked dry and not the best either. Once I smelled the burgers being made I was sold. The grill area is actually pretty decent along with the wrap area. I decided to get a double bacon cheese burger with fries and a drink. Total came to $6. 86 which wasn't bad.Overall it was tasty and cheap. When my family has surgery I don't like to leave the hospital so it's nice to know I can grab a bite to eat without it tasting awful.

OK, I see you hospital cafeteria. I see you and I respect you. This is inside a hospital so nobody expects anything and I feel like it's just a weird atmosphere for obvious reasons, but the employees are still happy and upbeat and the food is pretty good!I had a tasty meatloaf supper with squash and mashed potatoes and a nice, cold cup of water. What can I say, I really enjoyed it. Thanks!

I would highly recommend if you are a guest of a patient that you go to the Hills Cafe! The food is freshly made and the menu changes daily. More importantly the price is amazing! Great Job the the Chefs......

Definitely hit or miss in the evenings. They typically have items that are at least ok, but nothing to brag about. The prices are fair overall so I suppose fair quality food is an appropriate match. The fast foods like fingers and fries are typically good as are the sandwiches made on the grill. The entrees are a roll of the dice. I'm reminded of the mess hall in basic training. It appears that the cafe is often understaffed in the evenings, leading to a short wait for service at times. Slightly longer serving hours in the morning and evening would be nice.

My first major surgery. What a success!!!! Thank you DR. Cheryl Brewer and her team. The kitchen staff came to give my meals and later take my used tray. The food smelled and tasted yummy. Except my appetite was down due to the surgery and most likely the anesthesia. If your Doctor requests a special diet then you will get your needed diet. Fabulously done. I ate in my room so I have no review about the cafeteria experience. Thank you to all the chefs, dishwashers, nutritionists. And whom all I did not name on the team. The flavor and look of the foods I picked (since I am diabetic low to no sugar foods and watching carbs). I would give it a 10 for sure.

I spent several hours at Centennial Hills Hospital on Friday, August 10, 2024 and it was a memorable experience but NOT in a good way. Two patients were there when I arrived. About 5 hours into my experience one of those patients asked the front desk how much longer it would be before seeing a doctor. The medical staff near me began to mock the patient as though it was an unreasonable inquiry. I was seated near this patient and at one point a female employee appeared with a computer and began to ask this patient for personal information in a crowded waiting room. Other patients were asked for their personal information in a non private setting as well, including myself. The bathrooms were so deplorable that some stated they drove to nearby restaurants to utilize same. It was an incredibly unsanitary condition but this is where you were sent to provide urine and fecal samples for medical testing. One attendant advised that I needed to have more blood drawn because my condition could be affecting my heart. He asserted very convincingly that this was an important matter. About that time another medical attendant said "cancel that". No explanation was provided why the matter was very important to the welfare of my heart one minute and then suddenly seemingly not important. I had already that same date been exposed to radiation via a CT scan. When I asked Centennial Hospital about reviewing that earlier scan the answer was we have our own standards. I wasn't questioning their standards. I merely desired to have it reviewed and discussed before we proceeded with more radiation, dye and saline exposure/injections. The entire day and well into the evening seemed unorganized and fee generating focused. At the end of the day after sitting for hours, I left with 3 prescriptions and two I could have walked into any drugstore and purchased over the counter per the pharmacist. Centennial Hospital asked if I was married and my spouse's name and telephone and now he is receiving unwanted text from Centennial Hospital. I would not go to Centennial Hospital for any future medical treatment. Perhaps they are under staffed/under funded/under managed ....I don't know but in my 70 years of living it ranks at the top for a disappointing emergency room experience in terms of professionalism, in my opinion, based on personal experience.

The very worst hospital food. In 11 years that we've been going to this hospital the food has not gotten better. Why don't they make better quality, tasting, healthier food! They fix the atrium but not the food.It really is a shame. The worst food ever! And the worst food if you are a patient as well. Shouldn't patients get good quality healthy food not processed garbage? No one likes their food!
