Casa Don Juan is an authentic Mexican food spot in Vegas! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful decor that sets the perfect mood. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel right at home.Came around 9 am which was a good time because when we left around 10am it looked like the rush was happening. The food is delicious --fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Don't miss out on their Cafe de Oja! which was the perfectly balanced of coffee and sweet canela. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with free street parking in the front and restaurant parking along the right side in the back. It's a great spot if you're looking for a casual breakfast / lunch.

Not worth the hype. It's on the heart of old downtown Las Vegas, but not intimate. Food was bland. I had to add salt on salsa and beans. The quesadilla had no flavors, just tasted cheesy. My drink was 3/4 full of ice on my tamarind margarita (pic was taken after 20min of sitting there empty...waiting on my second if the server comes back)Party of 4, they don't check up on you because they know it's an automatic 18% deduction for gratuity. Other tables behind us and in front of us(booth area) had 3 per party. Our server who also served them checked up on them often but skips on us, even after getting his attention couple of times. He didn't come and Check up on us until he finally got our attention, after he see's that we are already done with our food a while ago. However, I've been wanting seconds for my drink...wanna know how it actually tastes like without too much ice. Got a second after 40min after my first round.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. These people are in for your gratuity especially if you're party of 4 or more. They won't Check up on you until you're done with your food. I told the server about his service and his excuse was that he said he had other tables he attended to, which I replied; "yes, you attended and focused more on to the party of 3 or less." And he just asked what we wanted. What a place to get ripped off. I'd understand if the food was great, but Hospital cafeteria food with no flavors??!! Come on! Never again! I am a local, and been to so many Mexican restaurants here in my hometown. Please do yourself a favor, stay away from this place if you don't want to be embarrassed from your party/companion, and yourself by paying something not worth it. Check out other restaurants that are away from the strip. Not naming other businesses because they might think I'm a possible competitor, which I'm not! I'm just voicing my experienced and honest review.

We came in here on a Friday night for dinner and it was kind of empty. It wasn't loud, it was just right. Service is always great. (3rd time coming here)When we're in Vegas we always wanna give it another try. The food was okay. My brother got a lemonade and it wasn't good at all, it tasted like the lemons were way too sour with that old after taste. He got an horchata instead and that was better. It was 6 of us, we each ordered a plate plus drinks and our total was around $400. I think it's a bit pricey here, and the food quality isn't there. Don't think we're stopping by again the next time we're in Vegas.

What a pleasant surprise. After trying to get into Estelles across the street, out hunger led us to Casa Don Juan's. I was a little concerned at first because it was a huge restaurant, but there weren't a lot of people inside. However, the service was snappy. Our food came out nearly 5 minutes after we ordered it and it was hot and delicious. The meat was flavorful and not dry. The tortillas are made in house. And to top it off, the restaurant is Frida Kahlo themed. The walls are decorated with her self portraits. I'm only knocking off a point because gluten free things were not labeled. If I'm back in VegasI would definitely return.

Great location, great parking, not bad service (he was very friendly). For the price, I expected a whole lot more flavor though. I'm going to assume it's priced the way it is due to its location. Food was bland and basic. I had better tasting food from local food trucks for 1/3 of the price. Stay away, unless you're ok with over priced and not even mediocre food (especially the salsa ).

Really didn't want to come back here as I gave them a 3 star last time. We were sat immediately, was brought out drinks fairly quickly with complementary chips, salsa and refried beans. Inside was very loud with music playing and people speaking very loudly. Water had a weird taste to it. Server was very loud and pushy for us to order. Menu is very over priced for the quality. Children's menu is $10 and up for 1 taco, 1 Bean and cheese burrito, 1 enchilada, 1 small tortilla quesadilla. The hamburgers were over $11 and if you want cheese $13 the chicken strips $13. Unbelievable! What we ordered:Burrito puro carne: $18.99(El Pastor)Small burrito, pork didn't have pineapple only chunks of onion and meat. Good flavor of achiote Signature Carnitas Plato for 2: $40.98Dry meat, asked for more chips and was told it was extra charge same with tortillas. Surprised that they didn't charge for the limes they gave me. Silverware at the table was filthy, I asked a lady for a new one and she huffed at me. I don't want to eat off a fork that has someone else's food stuck to it, no thank you. Daughter needed more napkins and commented if they would charge for that too. We were also interrupted by a lady taking photos and we didn't want it. She still took photos of us and came back again with print outs we said no thank you and she was pushy saying I'll give you all the photos for $15 no go away we are eating our dinner not looking for a photo shoot. I knew from my first review it wasn't going to be any better, and husband didn't want to walk a few blocks. So I gave it a second chance and another disappointment. They charge 18% on tables 4 and up, most people have two children. Service isn't worth 18% and with all the extra charges even more of a reason why I wouldn't want to be forced to pay 18% tip. This dinning was a nightmare.

taco is 7 dollars and comes with one taco so if you're hungry, you'll be better to order the taco plate which will come with rice and other things. I got the fish taco it's not bad but I do think it's slightly on the bland side.My waitress seems like she was having a terrible day, and she literally looked like she was dead inside when I mistakenly ordered the queso cheese when I really wanted is the "cheese dip," but she managed to be kind enough to replace it. which I appreciate Very attractive staffs, And that applied to both male and females employees, hostesses are wearing cute and colorful traditional Mexican costumes standing in the front patio. really make a great brand image. hiring manager for the restaurant can seriously consider starting a model agency. The patio space of the restaurant stretch across the entire block. for a typical afternoon in May it is quite pleasant to sit outside .complementary chips and salsa before your food arrive.

We came in with a group of 35 people and no reservations. Martha worked hard to seat the group and get our food out quickly. It was delicious! The tortillas are the best!
