Margo here. I am a local 7 Star who does not cook, hence I more than appreciate great meals, outstanding service and the properties who take our rewards 1 for 1, in addition to the local deals and our daily $10 dining credits/drink certificate etc. Four of us had one of the best dining experiences in Las Vegas last night at Caramella in Planet Hollywood . Rosa (our server), Louisa (manager) and our bus girl formerly from Gordon Ramsays Pub Grill were not only caring but allowed us to truly take our time to savor all the Italian dishes! For appetizers, we shared the calamari and tuna tartare! They both were outstanding in texture, flavor and uniqueness! For our main entrees, we had the pork (absolutely my favorite that night), cavatelli pasta (made in house), the filet, chicken Parmesan (my daughter's favorite and huge. We loved them all! For dessert, as we were celebrating my friend's birthday, we had their cheesecake which is a foot long (truly a delicacy) and the dark chocolate salted caramel tart a must (see photos). My daughter and friend said the drinks were not only satisfying and generous in size but we were able to use our drink coupons. I will be back often and we will be reviewing Pinkys tonight for my other friend's birthday! The ambiance is perfect (red and warm inside) and when the weather gets warmer, the outside dining will be a delight! PS. The potatoes with mushrooms au gratin another must have as a side dish!

Super mixed review about this place. Ate there on a Tuesday night. No reservations and there was an hour wait so we headed to the bar to get a drink and appetizers while we waited. The bartender from Hawaii was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Very engaging. He recommended the meatballs appetizer and something else. We went with the meatballs and the garlic bread. Appetizers were out of this world good. Easily on the way to a 5 star review...then our table opened up and we had dinner...Despite a portion of the dining room being complete closed off and empty they squeezed everyone into the main dining room. Tables were soo tight that our chairs and the table next to us basically blocked off the walkway that servers and customers were using to get thru the restaurant. We initially tried to accommodate everyone by moving our chair in and out every time someone came by but that got old. And then we just said "F' it" and just stayed put. People had to do an about face and try to find another way thru the restaurant Chicken parm was expensive and tastes like the sauce was burnt. No bed of pasta. Just chicken parm on a plate. The most expensive and plain chicken parm I've ever had. In thinking about this place after our visit. The menu has a HUGE appetizer offering on the menu. Maybe they want to be known for their appetizers So..:kudus to the bartender from Hawaii. Job well done. You were memorable. To the seating planner ...open things up a bit.

Always excited to try a new restaurant. My host, Eddie recommended me this & I wanted something different than Carbone. This place was pretty good. I give it a 5 stars on the savory, but the dessert was lacking. Loved the drinks concepts, so I give it a 5/5 for the drinks. Onto the food!Calamari: perfect portion and not too bready 5/5Cavatelli bolognese: my partner really liked it. 5/5Rib eye: cooked to perfection. Didn't need sauce 5/5Mascarpone creamed spinach: this was interesting, but too cheesy for me 4/5Caramella tart: this was good, but I hardly go for chocolate much. 4/5. I wish there was more of a variety for desserts. The place is super cute for date night. Our reservation was at 730, but we got seated more than 30 minutes late. We did check out the speakeasy in the back, but there was no where to sit. Cute place overall especially located in Planet Hollywood.

This was a nice experience overall, but everything just felt a little off. We made a reservation online. When we arrived the hostess recommended we try the lounge behind the hidden door in the candy store. As we walked through the candy store she explained that it's all real candy but none of it is for sale. Ok... Kinda odd. We enjoyed some cocktails in the cool speakeasy lounge which has a 70s theme. The instant crush cocktail was very good. The cotton candy cocktail was disappointing as there was no cotton candy visible as listed on the menu. The server said the cotton candy was already inside. The hostess said she would come get us when the table was ready. She never did. Eventually I went back to the host stand to discover the table was ready. Our server Carol was ok, but she seemed to do the absolute minimum. While I saw other servers welcoming guests and going over the menu and highlighting certain dishes, Carol did none of that. She also did not check up on us very often. Water glasses often sat empty for extended periods of time. There is no complimentary bread offered with the meal which is frankly shocking for a strip restaurant of this caliber. We did order the garlic cheese bread which was probably the highlight of the meal. Wonderful garlic bread stuffed with cheese. I am not a cheese person, but I really enjoyed it!We also had the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was fresh and sweet, and the accompanying sauces were good (I preferred the cocktail sauce to the aioli). We tried the classic Caesar. I told our server we wanted to split the Caesar. When it arrived it was in one bowl with a large spoon (?) and no other dishes or cutlery. I had to flag Carol down to get dishes and silverware. No fresh ground pepper was offered either (I had to ask Carol twice for this - she eventually brought it). The salad itself was very good with a very flavorful and authentic dressing. I had the branzino entree with roasted broccoli as a side dish. The branzino was good but honestly lacked very much flavor. The broccoli was crunchy and sprinkled with cheese and overall decent. We ordered two desserts - the classic Caramella tart and the tiramisu. Only the former dessert arrived. It was very good with a nice balance of dark chocolate and caramel. Also, this was a birthday celebration dinner. The birthday was acknowledged by the hostess, but that was it. There was absolutely no other mention of it - nothing from the server, no candle in the dessert, no nothing. I would've loved to give feedback real time during the meal, but no manager ever visited to check on us (or anyone that I could see). So, some of the experience here was good and some was not. Maybe it's growing pains since they only opened about six weeks ago. Maybe we will wait and give them another try...

Since I was staying at Planet Hollywood, I looked up this restaurant and thought of trying their food. The place looked amazing, and they had both patio and indoor seating. I requested a patio table for dinner, and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. They reserved it for me and said they would inform me once it was ready. Later, I received a text saying my table was ready, so I went back.Since I love pasta and it's an Italian restaurant, I ordered the crab pasta (I believe it was the Blue Crab Malfaldine). It tasted really great, but the plate wasn't hot the dish should have been served hotter. That's okay, though, because I loved the ambiance and the food. If they served the pasta and plate hotter, this place would easily be a 5-star experience. As for the service, it was just average not quite what you'd expect from a high-end restaurant. However, the prices were reasonable and affordable. Overall, it's a good place to dine.

Such a beautiful newly open restaurant that you can oversee the strip for people watching and enjoy the Bellagio fountain. Even the patio area is not open due to the weather, you are still welcome to enjoy the view there. The food is unfortunately hit and miss. The sea bass and tuna are so good. Must have!!! The garlic bread is amazing, too! The pork and creamy spinach are seriously so greasy. Totally can pass them. The reginette is very enjoyable. The rest dishes from my pictures are mediocre. The speakeasy is very busy and with vibes.

My best friend and I went last to celebrate our birthdays. First, the ambiance is amazing, so dark and cozy. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The pace of the meal was great. We ordered a lot but our favorite was the king crab scampi...omg amazing! My friend got the chicken Parmesan and it was fabulous too. The tiramisu was so decadent and one of the best I have had! Fun experience! Next time I want to check out the speakeasy!

It was great! Caramella Italian Restaurant is a romantic Italian escape on the second floor of Planet Hollywood, Caramella offers an inviting ambiance for Italian. Although reservations are available, we walked in as a group of four and were seated immediately. The restaurant's atmosphere is low-lit, romantic, and calming. We were seated at a cozy table in the back, with the glittering Las Vegas lights, added as a stunning backdrop, the perfect table! Our server was highly knowledgeable and spent about 15 minutes walking us through the menu in great detail. While I appreciated their thoroughness, it did feel a bit lengthy. However, the service throughout the evening was impeccable, attentive, professional, and customer-focused.For food, we decided to sample a few appetizers as we were heading out for the night. We ordered the cheese bread, veal meatballs, calamari, and steak tartare. Here's the breakdown:* The garlic, cheese bread was warm and tasty with each bite, paired with a pesto and marinara dipping sauce that complemented it perfectly.* The calamari, lacked flavor for me. * The veal parmigiano meatball was not to my liking, but it might suit others with different tastes.* The wagyu tartare was decent. While the food had its highs and lows, the overall dining experience at Caramella was enjoyable. The restaurant's beautiful setting, attentive staff, and romantic atmosphere made it great.Would I return? Yes, for the ambiance and service and perhaps to explore their entrées next time while in Las Vegas.

Everything was absolutely delicious and there is still so much more I want to try! The servers were so nice and really helpful with their recommendations since this is a totally new restaurant. I would highly recommend the crab pasta dish as I've never seen anything like it on other menus. All of the decor was thoughtfully put together and even the plates were super cute. Make sure to check out the hidden lounge (enter through the candy shoppe) to check out their other cocktails you can't get in the restaurant. The piña colada foam from the Vice and Virtue is truly a unique and delicious experience!

The food and vibes are spectacular! I really enjoyed the wagyu tartare and Cesar's salad for appetizers. The Cesar's salad was so light and creamy definitely a caesars to remember! I really loved the spicy tomato penne as well, the spice level was just right and the taste was so impactful and very seasoned. I also ordered the filet and, oh my, it was so juicy and delicious. To top it off I ordered the tiramisu which was just the perfect size, not too small and not too big, it was so creamy and very delicious. Also my server was Bradford! He was really sweet and he explained everything in the menu well. Also the hidden lounge was so fun and so beautiful.
