Vegas' best kept secret off the strip. Staff and accommodations are second to none. Very clean rooms and amenities. Every room invites you to "make this place your home away from home". Will definitely return

Overall: if you're looking for a cheaper and clean place to stay near the strip for a night or two, and don't plan to use any of the amenities and don't have a car, probably worth it. Otherwise for the safety and amenities I'd stay elsewhere. Pros: walking distance to the strip, 24/7 coffee in the lobby, in-hotel free laundry, small hotel gym is clean and usually not busy Cons: parking lot is not secured and no roving security or cameras, you have to give 24 hr notice to have your room serviced, coffee machine was only functioning about 50% of the time without me having to go and alert the front desk person that it needed serviced, pool is not heated so not enjoyable during the off-summer months, kitchenettes have varying cooking utensils/pots/pans so not a reliable way to be able to cook in the rooms, although you can set your room as low as 68° ours rarely got below 72° the entire time we were there

There are numerous advantages to staying at this hotel close to the strip.Upon check-in, the process is pretty simple, but watch out for the $15 parking charge. The garage at Oyo is free, but I'm too lazy to walk with all my stuff.ROOM: The Studio room may be on the smaller side, but it comes equipped with kitchenware, utensils, a 2-burner stove, microwave, and fridge. The little details matter, like the Dove amenities that leave your skin actually feeling moisturized after a shower. This is the first shower where my skin wasn't dry.POOL: The pool is large, although a bit chilly even on a 100-degree day. There's also a relaxing hot tub that stays open late. Just be aware that the bathrooms at the pool deck require a code, so make sure to ask for it because no one will tell you beforehand. In the lobby, you can enjoy free coffee from a real machine, not just a canister that can go cold. While there's no complimentary breakfast, the sister property next door offers it.....odd.This is the first hotel I've seen with free guest laundry machines and dryers. You just need to purchase detergent. They also offer unique amenities like air fryers, George Foreman grills, crockpots, and TV trays. The service isn't exceptional, as the employees seem to just be going through the motions.Overall, this hotel stands out against the Hilton due to its attention to detail. Despite the lackluster service, the hotel's attention to detail shines through in the unique amenities provided at the property. Overall, my stay at this hotel was a pleasant one. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I am an IHG Diamond Elite member who has stayed at majority of the hotels here on the Las Vegas strip. Cosmopolitan, Wynn, Venetian, Caesars.. all of them. They're all great! But.... This spot is special. It's high key, new, clean, quiet, and great! I stayed here for a few nights back in may.. and another 5 nights recently to go see Erika Jayne at Mandalay Bay and Beyoncé at Allegiant. The front desk folks are always friendly and helpful. Plus there is no line to check in like at other strip hotels. It's tucked away just behind OYO and adjacent to MGM so it's literally a quick 5 minute walk to the strip. What I love about this hotel is you don't have to walk a mile through the hotel & the casino just to get outside. Lol. You just walk down the hall and through the doors to the outside. This spot is not a place to stay if you're visiting vegas as a vacation or to be around all the chaos that comes with vegas. It's for someone who visits frequently and would like some peace and quiet between all the chaos. I was able to work from the hotel comfortably although the wifi wasn't that strong it did it's job. They also have a little convenience area downstairs that offers common drug store items. There is also a Dennys close by and a few liquor stores. Would I stay here again? Yes.. I'm booked for October. Do I recommend this spot to you? Yes... if you're just coming for a quiet time with a loved one or alone. It's not a party spot.

I wanted to try something other than the Homewood this time and IHG go for better rates than Hilton in Vegas near the airport. I had a consistently great experience at the Candlewood El Paso and hoped for the same there. This location delivered on most counts but there are a few things to keep in mind. First the good: they have appliances such as Foreman grills or juicers that you can check out for your room, guest laundry is free (you just need to provide the detergent and dryer sheets), and they have snacks and small pantry items available for sale near the front desk. The full kitchen is the same as other Candlewoods. Microwave, 2 burner electric stove, full kitchen and a useful inventory of utensils, cups, plates and pots. The only really big drawback is the parking. It's $10.99 a day and for some reason, they use a web-based service that's separate from IHG to pay for it. In El Paso, parking was free so that was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. The hotel is also just off Tropicana which can really back up if people are rushing the Strip. Lastly, I really wish IHG would give more thought to using Bluetooth to open their doors, privacy issues be damned.

We stayed here this past week for a few days and it was a great and wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and lots of room. The staff was very nice and polite and they also had plenty of parking. Just make sure you get your permit from front desk to put on your front windshield so your vehicle doesn't get towed away. Also has a pool, weight room and work area to plug in your laptop to get some work done. Also have place to BBQ for you to cook next to the pool, they also have a pet area to take your pets to use the restroom and also provide bags to pick up after your pets. And best part there is a Denny's on the opposite side of the driveway and also liquor store. And the Las Vegas strip is also few blocks away. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town.

With hotels, I feel like it's hard to earn 5-star reviews. But with this one, I truly feel like, for the price, in the area, it can't be beat. PROS: -Very affordable for the room size (also, every room comes with a kitchenette) -Super clean -VERY thick walls... we've stayed here multiple times and we are shocked at how quiet it is, even on the weekends, even when they're fully booked-Full sized fridge and dishwasher for longer stays CONS: -Not much, but the parking is uncovered and unprotected-- we have never seen security in all the times we've stayed here, so it's best to not leave anything in your car Extremely good for the price; every time we stay here we're shocked at how happy we are with it.

This is a newer Candlewood Suites in Las Vegas just off the strip on Tropicana. Location:Suites are within walking distance of Tropicana Hotel & Casino, Luxor, New York New York, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay and MGM.Area is safe during the day and night because Tropicana is a very busy street with many police officers in cars.Rooms:The standard king is on the small side when comparing to a Holiday Inn (I travel for work). This room is newer, with no damage to the furniture. The room was clean. Included: Refrigerator and Freezer, microwave, sink, dishwasher (which I find strange), and a 2 electric burner cooktop. No oven. The room has USB outlets next to both sides of the bed only. No USB outlets at the small desk area (again strange). They could have used lamps with USB outlets by the small desk area.No area to have your luggage open during your stay. The TV looks like a new LG 42" TV with basic channels.Hotel Details:Large dogs permittedPets permittedSafety deposit boxes at receptionIce machineAir conditioning in public areasBusiness centerLaundry serviceHotel built in 2020, Number of floors 5Total number of rooms 122Number of single rooms 83Number of double rooms 39Non smoking property Deposit:Upon check in the hotel collects room, tax, and a fully refundable $50.00 deposit.Housekeeping:Candlewood Suites does not offer daily housekeeping.Points:I don't understand why, but you will not receive 2x points if you are an IHG rewards member regardless of your status. I am Diamond Elite. That is the highest level.Lobby:The lobby is new, the staff was very friendly and they have a very small area offering sundries, drinks, and some snack food items (all for purchase).Soap, Shampoo, and Conditioner:Candlewood Suites has these items inside the shower in pump style dispensers.Parking:Parking was simple, but it's $12 per day.Check In/Out:3 pmCheck In12 pm CheckoutThe hotel hallways are new, and clean. The elevators (2) are fast, and clean. The lobby is inviting and designed with welcoming colors. All in all, very good so far.

The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. Has a big kitchenette and the bed was very comfortable. I was actually preparing to leave a nice review. However, Our car was parked in front of the hotel's front door and our expensive e-bikes were stolen off of our vehicle, even though they were triple locked. We had no idea that a hotel like this had no security or outdoor cameras for deterrents. We asked to have the manager call us when he/she arrived at work, and we received no call. I clearly saw the sign that management is not responsible for theft from vehicles, but expected there would be reasonable safety security measures in the parking lot. Due to this lack of parking lot safety, I would never recommend this hotel. Also did not appreciate that the manager did not call us.

This hotel is practically a parking trap. They would tow your car even if the front desk tells you the parking is free for club members. You need to get a parking path and then take pictures that you have a parking path in case your car is towed. I've never seen anything like that at any Holiday Inn hotel chain or any other hotel brand, for that matter. This may be a Las Vegas thing, but if you want to avoid ruining your day and paying $300 for towing, stay away from this place - there are plenty of other choices in Las Vegas.
