Il Fornaio Canaletto: A Taste of Italy in the Heart of the Venetian!We stopped by Il Fornaio Canaletto for a light and quick dinner, and were blown away by the magnificent views of the Grand Canal central plaza and authentic Italian vibe. Our server, Ricky (Ricardo), was friendly and provided top-notch service.The food was incredible:- INSALATA DI PERE: An amazing salad with roasted pears, wild arugula, and a tangy pomegranate dressing- Spicy Shrimps Appetizer: Sumptuous, with a flavorful sauce and baked tomatoes- Complimentary Warm Bread: Freshly baked, served with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette - a perfect start to the mealDefinitely recommend Il Fornaio Canaletto for a delicious meal with a beautiful view. We can't wait to come back!

This place was a little disappointing.First, we had to chase our server as he was never around and it took forever to have lunch there. They don't really much of vegan food, one that has a vegan note on the menu is Insalata Regina, so I got it. Unfortunately I hate raisins, so I asked if they can be twice replaced with grapes (included in other salad), but was told it can't be done. That is so strange, they can remove raisins, but can't add grapes??? I requested to add pecans, and that was not an issue. Bizarre. The salad was tasteless. The dressing had no flavor whatsoever, the other ingredients that were there besides arugula were not many, so I basically had a bad tasting arugula.Other people's dishes were just ok. No one from my group really enjoyed it much.The server was not polite either. Won't be back.

Food, service, and atmosphere was great! We came as walk ins and were seated right away inside (were told that for "outdoor" with the view, you would need reservation). Our server was very attentive with us. My favorite was definitely the pizza, the white truffle oil on it makes everything so good. The calamari was also really good, I really enjoyed their marinara sauce. The linguine was ok and I couldn't care less for the salad but I just wanted some greens as part of my meal. Overall a pleasant experience and would return again!

One of my favorite restaurant in Vegas, this is real Italian restaurant, food is excellent, most of the staff are very kind and professional, most of them are Italia , places are reasonable, considering you're in Vegas , got to meet the manager Massimo, absolutely professional, and kind, I recommend anyone this place

We had reservations a 6:30 but arrived early. They seated us immediately. We choose to sit inside because of the noise level outside although the view is amazing. Our server was great very helpful with all our questions and helping to decide which entrees. We ordered drinks and one of the appetizers on special. An antipasto with four different meats, cheese, olives , and red roasted peppers. For dinner. One had the pistachio gnocchi, one had seabass, one had PACCHERI ALLA BOLOGNESE and I had veal medallions. Every dish was deliciously prepared and well presented. For dessert. Tiramisu, dark chocolate gelato, and cannoli. We throughly enjoyed every bite and would definitely return.

I enjoyed the flavors of the meal. When I think about tortellini now, I want to eat this one especially. I'd love to dine here again next time in Vegas. The ambience was breathtaking taking and inspiring for the imagination. The service was efficient.

My wife in here stopped in here around 4 PM to grab a pre-show drink and meal. We were lucky to score a seat at the bar so we can get some happy hour specials. Happy hour here is 3-6pm daily but bar only. Drinks are only $10 and there are also some special priced food options The bar probably has seating for 20-30 people, but it's a tough seat to find during happy hour.My wife loved her Italian margarita. My Dunkel beer on tap was tasty and cold ($8), and I finished it off with a custom-made old-fashioned with extra cherry and simple syrup. Food wise, the Caprese app sas superb. We ordered and loved the Pistachio gnocchi but substituted some flat noodles for the gnocchi at the suggestion of our bartender. Wow- great pasta dish! Jana was a superb bartender & server.

Great food in the best atmosphere, like you are eating in Europe outside. Not sure about some of the low reviews but staff was great, knew exactly when to ask if we needed or and not to. Will go back next time in vegas

Stellar service and beautiful food. The wine selection was incredible, as well. We are local to Las Vegas but came here on a whim. We will certainly make a point to return to this gem.
