"I am amazed how many good restaurants are in Las Vegas. I like Kabuto! It is so good and fresh compared to sushi in nyc. I love the freshness of everything. Sushi is exceptionally good. Overall: highly recommended if you have the opportunity to book a reservation"
"Quality of this sushi is delishhh! I feel like there is a saying, a place that doesn't serve all you can eat always provides better quality fish and ingredients for sushi, as well as presentation, and after dining here I totally get it.Came here last night for my friend's birthday, which was so nice to celebrate at. It was rather busy for a Monday night, but it was a holiday. It's so nice and welcoming in here. I think they updated tables and whatnot, because last time I was here it was a lot more dark inside. This time around they had lighter tables, lanterns hanging from the ceiling, a wall of long time patrons... it felts more welcoming and more homey. Our server was great and the manager Tristan was great, too. I ordered the orange blossom and the rock and roll to split with my mother in law. We both really enjoyed the rolls! They were so good. And the presentation was absolutely stunning. I had never seen orange blossom presented that way! It was gorgeous!Only thing we had an issue was with how long it was taking to bring the sushi out. It felt like every other table was getting theirs sooner than us, even those with groups as big as ours. And every time we would ask, the servers and staff were so nice about it, but we just kept getting told it was backed up, then like 10 minutes later it was "what are you still waiting on?" They recognized it a bit and gave us a few free drinks because of it since we were waiting so long. I definitely would give them another shot. Like I said, it was taking a while, but the staff was very kind about it. And the sushi was delicious!"

"So I am writing this the day after eating here, and for one main reason only; leftovers. When I go to a place that has what this place has, a very well lit modern layout with many wood features both functionally and formally well intended, I have an ease in my mind in that it recalls a quiet and intimate experience somewhere someplace that always felt perfect for a place to eat. Happy and wholesome as wood makes us many times feel, but especially welcome in its warmth, this place welcomed me and my wife a few weeks back on Valentine's Day when all our other sushi spots had two hour waits; now this is our favorite spot. I love Vegas for this. The heat of the still sizzling plates gave moments notice of the wholesome and simply wonderful meals being delivered to our table that we ate here with our daughter and my wife's grandmother a 2nd time. The next day the reason for me writing this post, the leftovers sealed it. For me the ability to eat beef bulgogi the following day and still sense the sizzle serving iron plates is truly rare feat as many meals are unrecognizable after we get our fill from them and they are further and further from their date of creation. I highly recommend the sushi rolls which are larger than I was used to, the Spicy Garlic Edamame Grilled Freshwater Eel (Unagi Kabayaki)croquettes, fried cauliflower and Pork Belly Skewer. Enjoy this place. It's great and please tip well, the staff deserve it."
"A group 5 adults and 3 children went to the restaurant at 5pm when they opened. It was not crowded at all but we had to wait for our entire party to arrive before being seated which was understandable. We were waited on right away but the entire time we were there, we were rushed through everything!! I mean everything. Our salads were brought to us, then our soup. Some of us didn't even get a chance to taste the soup before the waitress came around asking several times if we were done eating our appetizers. We felt so rushed through the entire teppanyaki experience. They were so concerned about clearing the tables to accommodate other guests who were waiting. Another group of people were there before us and they were still conversing but they didn't rush them through their dinner, it was so rude! The adults weren't even done eating at our table and they came with to go boxes ready for us to pack our food. They were so pushy and adamant about us leaving. I would've given 1 star if our chef wasn't funny or entertaining, that's the only reason I was so generous with my rating! Otherwise, I would give zero stars just for the horrible service alone. On top of that, they add a gratuity, for what?? It should only go to the chefs, not the pushy waitress staff who watch like hawks to see when you take your last bite of food so they can come by and take your plate! I don't think I will be coming back!! Stop rushing people to eat just to accommodate a crowd, it's rude and not a good business practice especially for a restaurant. You can tell this is not true authentic Japanese culture, this place is run by Koreans! I can say it too because I'm half Korean and I'm embarrassed by their ignorance. Save your money and go to another Teppanyaki restaurant where they won't rush you to eat and leave."
"Hanabi Sushi is a gem! I come here often with my family, and they are always so welcoming and friendly. The service really adds to the experience. The food? Always top-notch. My go-to is the crunch roll sushi, and my wife can't get enough of the Japanese lasagna. The variety of sushi they offer is impressive, and it's all-you-can-eat! The quality is fantastic for the price, which is just right given the freshness and taste of the dishes.Whether you're a sushi lover or looking to try something new, this spot won't disappoint. Highly recommend!"
"Had a quick bite to eat. I had the salted edamame and the American Toll and kiss of Fire. Both were really good. My favorite was the Kiss of Fire because of the spicy ponzu sauce it is served in. Service was good, quick and the restaurant looks and feels clean. They do need some sort of drain line jetting because there is a smell in the bathroom area. It might be an issue with the shopping center drain lines."
"I can't emphasize enough how amazing Sushi Hiro is. As soon as I walk in the door I am greeted by the friendly staff. Rachel, Mimi, and Yuya are the best! Not only is the sushi always fresh and delicious, but there are also options for people who aren't the biggest fan of raw fish. Whenever I come to Sushi Hiro, I know it will be a positive experience."
"Pleasantly surprised at this AYCE sushi place. For the price, you get a lot of both cooked (as I call it fake) sushi, and a decent balance of nigiri (two piece raw fish on rice). The rice appeared to be formed made-to-order and appears to be sushi rice. (Common short-cut at AYCE is to make the rice bed the daybefore, so to be quick, and take it out of refrigerator but the rice is then not soft.) Even for Sunday brunch, there were 4 chefs, and at least 3 servers, and host, so unlike many places their staffing levels ensured very prompt service . I heard Japanese being spoken and several signs were in Japanese, so despite all those fake sushi rolls, you could get an authentic (beginner) sushi experience here. (Sure they don't have the more exotic sushi like ankimo but at least there is ikura.) The only downside, not the fault of the restaurant so as to not affect my rating, was the neighborhood. Panhandlers abound. So if you happento be gambling at the nearby Sam's Town, and are tired of food there, take a break and stop by here."
"I love Sen of Japan!! I've been coming here for years and very regularly so this review is long overdue! Sen is where you go when you want AUTHENTIC Japanese cuisine that is made with only the freshest and most quality ingredients. Their specials are always changing depending on the season and what's available. This most recent visit, I got to try their soft shell crab that was flown in from Peru and was alive that day. It was sooo delicious. I already want to go back for more. Another highlight was the wakame mushroom tempura. This special type of mushroom is in season and I loved the flavor and texture. Sen offers a lot more variety when it comes to seasonal fish as well and their quality is always the best. It's common to find different seasonal fishes, so make sure to ask! For sashimi dishes, I recommend that you try their garlic yellowtail and ask for the other sashimi dish that's pictured in my review. It was seared with hot sesame oil and the texture was buttery soft and melted in your mouth. Some of my favorite things are really the simple things like their home made miso soups which is made using fresh miso , they offer both red or white miso, and they have fresh sliced tofu. Their miso soups take hours to make. You will not find the powder miso here. :D I also really love some simple maki and hand rolls because their rice alone is perfectly seasoned and has the perfect texture. I crave it all the time. I recommend their yellowtail hand roll with shiso or a spicy tuna roll with shiso for a nice refreshing twist on the staples. They are also open late night so it's the perfect late night happy hour / date spot. Also good for dining alone at the bar."
"I recently visited Ohjah and had a fantastic experience. The sushi and hibachi were fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!"
"There is so much to love about this place! We had hibachi with the chef and some others at a table. Service was prompt and friendly. Watching the chef"
"When you're in South Point and you want to eat, of the 11 restaurants I ate at 4 of them, this was the spot....Granted we were unable to get into 2 of the steak spots when we wanted to (or we would have missed other scheduled events we needed to go to), but Zenshin really was good, for really good Ramen! And we just walked in, no reservation required, and we were seated quickly. To start we ordered drinks, my cocktail to start was a fail (the slushiness in the slushy was not slushy at all), so I went with a mule. Simple vodka. But the edamame was flavored really nice! It was a little more oily than it needed to be, but the flavor was on point! The short rib ramen bowl was REALLY great! I hadn't heard of a short rib bowl before, as I am not a Ramen connoisseur and I enjoyed that! The other meals at the table were the traditional ramen with pork (and a couple of extra porks) and the garlic chicken was tasty too.Service was good....coupled with good food, I definitely recommend this spot."

Kabuto was night 2 of our anniversary weekend, and I'm so glad we got off the Strip for this one!The exterior is absolutely unassuming, set in a strip mall 15 minutes west of the Strip. Stepping in,however, felt like an entrance to another world. The restaurant is incredibly intimate, with only a 10 seat counter and 2 small tables. Having booked out ahead of time, my fiance and I were seated at the table, and got the full experience. We got to watch in detail as the three chefs prepared each stunning dish with expertise and care. The opening appetizer was a trio of small bites, consisting of Hawaiian bigeye tuna, snow crab with Osetra caviar, and finishing with Japanese octopus. All 3 were astounding! My fiance has a great deal more experience with sushi than I do, including in Japan, so when she pronounced the bigeye tuna as the best she had ever had, I knew we were in for a treat. The octopus was personally a tough texture for me to get around, but I loved the rest of the appetizer, and devoured each morsel with relish.Next was the chawanmushi with eel, scallop, and mushroom. Total umami bomb, and eye opening in terms of savory custards being considered a dinner dish. Rich, simple, and delicious. After the chawanmushi was the sashimi course, consisting of kusshi oyster, chu-toro, and young yellowtail. This was a welcome break from the richness and umami of the previous course, with very clean, crisp flavors. Again, very simply done, but each bite was perfection. The grilled item came next, a Spanish mackerel with grilled asparagus and pickled ginger. The idea of mackerel has always been slightly odd to my Western sensibilities, but I'll be damned if this didn't convert me! The pickled ginger was a great palate cleanser leading into the nigiri courses.Nigiri:This gets a little muddled, as everything started blending together by the end of the not one, not two, but 10 separate nigiri courses. Golden bigeye salmon: a highlight for both of us, 10/10, no notes.Three line grunt: strong, lingering flavors were a little much for both of us.Lean tuna: Good, not great. The flavor was there, but lean tuna will always lose to fatty tuna for me.Sweet shrimp: Another highlight, this was light, sweet as the name implies, and overall fantastic.Jack Mackerel: good from what I could taste, but the Wasabi was too strong for me to taste much else.Hokkaido salmon roe and Uni: I would have 10 courses of this alone. If I could live on Uni, I would.Amberjack: Excellent, and i could start to taste the flavors, but the liberal use of Wasabi overpowered here.Scallop: fantastic, but then again, I'm a sucker for scallops, cooked or raw. This was an excellent example of what must have been a U10 or U8 Hokkaido scallop.Jabara toro: bellows belly. This was slightly fatty, delicious, and overall a great balance of clean flavors and fatty richness.Red sea perch: this was very reminiscent of the Nodoguro from Mizumi, which makes sense as they're both in the perch family. Lingering flavors that evolved as you chew, but the win still goes to Mizumi here.We got a separate dish of jellyfish, and this was sadly a miss for me. Maybe it was preconceived notions, maybe just my palate, but I wasn't expecting something as extremely crunchy as this. That said, my fiance loved it, so I'm sure it's a matter of taste. Just not my personal preference. The O-toro handroll brought the dinner close to an end, and it was a great way to approach the dessert course. Everything you would expect from O-toro, with what was obviously very meticulous care in selecting the fish.We limped- or rolled - our way to dessert, which was a lovely composition of yuzu sorbet, matcha cheesecake, and assorted fresh berries. It was a perfect end to a spectacular meal, light and refreshing after all the richness.*Note: as we were both beyond full, we opted to skip the soup course, which I lament, but it was necessary to enjoy dessert*This entire meal was an experience in intimate omakase dining, made all the better by our server, Kento(and I really hope I'm spelling that right, given his warm, unintrusive, professional manner. As a relative novice to sushi and omakase compared to my fiance, Kento was approachable and genuine in guiding me through the menu. Long story short, although there are great options on the Strip, Kabuto is not to be missed, and a destination visit for any sushi enthusiast!

These are my guys. I started as a line cook at age 16 before gaining culinary experience managing kitchens and owning a small restaurant. As noted in my previous review: always high quality fresh ingredients; professional preparation; easygoing rapport with the people. I'm a regular, and gonna remain one. Don't let amateur reviews color your opinion of this place, let them speak for themselves by serving you and make your own judgement, pretty sure you'll agree with me, this place beats all my other sushi spots in Vegas.

Stopped by for a quick dinner since I dance hula in the area. Service was really good. All the workers were so nice. They give you a hot wet towel to clean your hands. It felt good since it was cold outside. Food:Shrimp Tempura Spicy Tuna Crispy RiceGlass of Red WineThe Tempura was lightly battered and tasted amazing. The ahi was fresh and I enjoyed the crispy rice. I'll definitely return again.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I ordered on Uber eats I wanted to see the take out aspect of it first! Ordering is quite simple just picked the rolls I wanted I ordered crunch roll, G spot, Philly, and I got some veggie tempura. I was very disappointed to see they had packed the hot food with the sushi rolls. They made all my sushi hot! Very unfortunate and probably not safe for food safety reasons!! I still ate them they had a special so I got a great discount I don't think I would pay full price for any of the rolls! They were very mediocre just kinda fell apart. The presentation wasn't very nice either they were just kinda shoved in a box and sent .

"Yummy sushi & great service at Sushi Fever. Had an excellent lunch here w/ a party of 8. Shared a good amount of sushi rolls. First time trying fresh wasabi. Why have I never known?! It really is amazing. Will have to remember that next time I have sushi cravings. And carrot top on your rolls, yes just get it. Crunchy & flavorful topping just adds more goodness to your dish. Enjoyed all the rolls. We like to share, so we can taste everything. Thanks to my cousins who introduced me to Sushi Fever & dine here frequently."
"ACYE Sushi & Asian Fusion is a great spot to grab some good food and hang out with friends, or even just to laugh around with the sushi chef at the bar. I visited ACYE solo while on a very short trip to Vegas to help my mom out with somethings while she was out of town. Being in Vegas I was craving sushi but not going to the strip so I looked on Yelp and ACYE was one of the first places that popped up. I came around 4pm on a Wednesday and there were plenty of groups seated have a great time. It looked like there may have been 2 birthdays being celebrated by different tables so the vibe was good the minute you walk in the door. The hostess greeted me, asked why type of menu I wanted to order from (all you can eat or a la carte), and offered to seat me at a table, the sushi bar or drink bar. I opted for the sushi bar and the basic all you can eat menu. They have different levels for their all you can eat if you want seafood Boils or additional crab legs. The food was good. Once I ordered everything would show up quickly. Seated at the sushi bar, I could quickly and easily ask for additional items. I had their Japanese Paloma which was fantastic with a bunch of different rolls and nigiri. Everything was fresh and delicious, better quality than some other all you can eat sushi places I've tried. The best experience though was sitting at the sushi bar and joking around with the sushi chefs. They are a bunch of great guys having fun and making good food in the process."
"I needed lunch and noticed this place was pretty close, I had eaten teppanyaki here when I first moved to LV, I also ate at their sister restaurant which is now closed (good experience at both). It was shortly after lunch so it was half full, waitress was nice. I got a bento box with Mixed Tempura, soup, gyoza, salad, rice, California Roll, and eel. It was so good, I want to return."
"Momo's and Leo will forever be my go-to favorite spotWe always sit at the counter however, there happened to be a reservation so we sat at a booth. Leo came through with the awesome sushi boat presentation. We didn't get to have a conversation however, this kind gesture meant a lot because I really have been going through something tough lately. Fish was fresh as always, I love the sauce, love the presentation and the service was outstanding as always. If you have not been to Momo's, you gotta stop in!!Thank you Leo, you're the best!!"
"Well...I delved into the world of vegan cuisine with a friend who is visiting and is a vegan. I was and still am very surprised by the experience. Great ambience...welcoming staff.Knowledge about foodExcellent taste and wonderful blend of flavors.Yes I had my suspicions...however, from the first bite I was convinced...this food is GOOD!Prices are reasonable.Portions are robust.Flavors are well balanced. Next time I want something different but also delicious I will revisit Chef Kenny."
"The hibachi chefs usually steal the show, preparing food with flair and engaging diners with skillful tricks while cooking on the grill right at your table. The menu includes various choices, from fresh sushi and sashimi to heartier dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables prepared with delicious sauces. Each meal typically comes with a side of fried rice, veggies, and soup or salad.Service at Hibashi is generally attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is lively, making it a great spot for both family gatherings and celebrations. The pricing is moderate to high, depending on your selections, but it often reflects the quality of the ingredients and the interactive dining experience. If you appreciate Japanese-inspired cuisine with a little showmanship, Hibashi might just become one of your favorites!"
"Want fresh fresh fresh fish? Shigotonin is the spot! I usually eat at AYCE sushi restaurants, but I wanted to change the vibe and eat top quality sushi. As you walk in, you enter a minimalistic and modern restaurant. It kind of feels like I'm at an art gallery. They offer various options of maki's, rolls, bowls, and even appetizers. I got the jidori karaage... super juicy! I also got one of the bowls and the toro set. Expect big cuts of melt in your mouth tuna. Every dollar spent was so worth it. The fish was so fatty it coated my mouth and melted in my mouth. The saltiness was perfect. Service was 5 they were constantly refilling our drinks and checking on us. I highly recommend Shigotonin if you want to treat yourself or someone special. Go and taste for yourself!"
"Nice bar area and separate dining area. The dining area itself is actually really impressive with its high domed ceiling with a giant lighting/art installation that must be a nightmare to clean. The menu was also impressive with options like the bluefin pizza and Wagyu gyoza. Both of which are $30 a pop. Only one was worth the money. The pizza was excellent. The gyoza not so much. Couldn't even tell you were eating wagyu. The salad, as simple as it was, was one of my favorites because it was so fresh. The crispy rice topping was a nice touch. The sushi roll was easily the least enjoyed. The lemon was actually why I thought it sounded good but actually ruined it for me. Even when I took it off I didn't enjoy it.Overall it's looking and looks like it will be really good, but I wouldn't go back."
"As always it's a pleasure coming here service is always great and food is the very best. Family comes from out of town and cannot head back without some Sasas.Stranger things is the fams new fave! Thank you Guys for everything and always being so accommodating. Donald, Allen Uncle and Sophie are always so great thank you"
"I've been reviewing Tokyo Boys for many years now, close to a decade. I've always respected and enjoyed it's ultra high level of Sushi, and service. I continue to do so to this day."
"Ono Sushi is a solid AYCE spot; Southeast of the Strip, about a fifteen minute drive. I came here for a quick solo lunch, was the first one to arrive and get seated when it opened. A few other patrons started trickling in. All of them looked like local professionals on their respective lunch breaks. I don't think there were any tourists. Medium size venue with a decent amount of seating with plenty of parking available in the plaza. I didn't realize I've actually been here before...forgot to write a review. The menu has changed a bit. I don't see s few item I got the last time I was here. Looks like they were minimally staffed. There was a lady running the front, taking orders a cleaning tables...superstar efficiency kind of stuff. I only saw one chef making all the sushi and I heard there were another one or two people in the back. Everything came out in a timely manor, good presentation and food was good. No issues! I was impressed...#AYCE:~ Idako Karaage (Baby Octopus) - 3.5/5~ Geso Karaage (Squid Legs) - 3.5/5~ Pork Belly - 5/5~ Sashimi Appetizer (Chef Choice) - 4/5 ~ Oyster - 4/5~ Poke Tacos - 4/5~ Kaki Fry (Fried Oyster) - 4/5~ Shrimp Skewer - 4/5~ Salmon Belly - 4/5~ Ocean Trout - 4/5~ Amaebi - 4/5~ Uni - 4/5~ Unagi - 4/5~ Nigiri - 4/5 - Ikura - 4/5 - Ono - 4/5 - Red Snapper - 4/5~ Lychee sorbet - 4/5Previous visit: (2019)~ Seasoned Brussle Sprouts - 4/5~ Green Tea Pannacotta - 4/5 ~ Red Bean Ice Cream - 4/5This place definitely has a more local vibe to it.No issues coming back..."
"Came across this spot and boy are we so happy we did! This is our new date night spot! The service was great and I personally love when the chefs make conversations with you while making your delicious rolls!Sapporo in a frosted mug! Yummy sushi ! What's better ???Coming. Back."
"Went here for a business lunch arrived at noon, they open at 11. We couldn't be seated until 12:30 because, that's when a grill cook would be available. The host staff was not very friendly but, the wait staff and cook were great. The ambiance was very quiet and low key, it was early in the day so there weren't many patrons at the time. The food was good, we indulged in a little of everything... my only complaint was there was hair in one of our sushi orders. Had it not been for this mishap, the restaurant would have received 4stars.."
"I'm a very frequent regular here. Cici is always wonderful. I tried to call to place my order and for an hour nobody answered. I only live a few minutes away and I decided to drive over and see if something happened. Unfortunately they are permanently closed! There was a new neon sign in the window that said ramen and pho. This place had really improved over the last few years, and they made it through the closure too. I don't know why they closed, they're in a super busy plaza, food has been very good. Service is great. They were definitely doing business. So I think this was something owner related. Once they reopen as the new business I will try to find out if it's the same owners and if they're going to still offer any type of sushi. There was no sign on the door mentioning anything unfortunately."
"Food was great and FRESH We each got the Large Poke Bowl and Gyoza. Most of all customer service from Beigh and Angela was topnotch. We'll come back again. Highly recommended"
"We had very good service. And the waitress even helped us out as we were trying a new cuisine for us. Turned out we really love a sushi. The pricing for the all you can eat was reasonable and you get dessert after that comes with it. I loved the shop. It was so cozy and quaint. Bring a jacket. A little chilly inside."
"The food was great and it didn't take forever for the cooking "show". I also tried the SOB roll and it was good! I would suggest getting the friend rice over the noodles for the dinner options."
"One of the better AYCE Sushi spots in town over on the East side of town.$29.95 for AYCE Sushi dinner is unheard of nowadays. Not here. It's a small operation, but the service staff is great and for all of our visits here, they have never been out of the "one per person" items. We have always had Uni, Amaebi with the fried heads, oysters, and Hamachi and Salmon Kama. Salmon Belly is not one per person here. It's AYCE!The best time to come here is between 3-4pm right before the dinner rush. You definitely get your money's worth, and it's worth coming back again and again."
"Soru Ramen really set my expectations high for ramen, I couldn't believe how delicious the food was! I always saw this restaurant on DoorDash, but I never ordered from here but yesterday was a nice rainy day and the thought of Ramen was perfect. So I decided to go with Soru, because of their ramen/sushi special. The beef ramen was perfection and the sushi was great, the packaging was great, because everything is separated until you mix it yourself. Definitely going to stop by the restaurant sometime soon, the ambience seems great from the photos I've seen online."
"This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is absolutely delicious! Flavors are mind blowing and so clean. Never do I feel heavy after I leave this restaurant, I always feel perfectly satisfied :) It's a bit pricey but it's worth it because you get the freshest ingredients. It's the only restaurant that I know that has been consistent in using the freshest and cleanest ingredients. I discovered this restaurant when it first opened and it never let me down. Next time I'm there, I promise to post some photos :DP. S. Even their miso soup is a step above any other miso soup in town! Yup. They're that good! ;)P.P.S. Their fish is completely raw. If you can't eat raw fish, this place is not for you."
"Our family has been to quite a few sushi places in Las Vegas and Kaizen is definitely in our top two. Initially, it can be a little confusing with ordering. There are no ready-made sushi plates on the conveyorbelt. Instead, there is a QR Code to scan for either their regular menu or for the sushi belt menu. Some items direct you to place your order with the server. To order sushi belt items (most plates begin at $2.69/plate during non happy hour), a paper form is used in which you select the item, fill out the quantity, then turn it in to your server. The upside to this slightly confusing ordering system is that the items are made fresh after you order. Sushi belt items are delivered to you by a fun red train truck. The quality of their cuts, flavor variety, and presentation is amazing! We love and highly recommend the crunch roll, tempura shrimp and crab roll, the lobster roll, popcorn shrimp roll, and any of their bento boxes. The customer service is outstanding as well. Not to mention, their happy hour prices are INCREDIBLE and so far the least expensive of the top sushi belt places we've visited. All around an excellent experience and we look forward to returning."
"Love that they have veg options! The staff is friendly and nice. This ambiance makes you feel like you're in one of the Japanese cafe. 5 starts"
"I purchased a Groupon package. I think I paid like $14 and you get $25 worth of which is awesome. it was delicious. The service was great."
