"Mood- AppleslawWhen I saw this was on the menu after peaking at some pictures I knew it was a must. My schedule is very busy so I had to calculate the perfect timing to make this a food craving dream come true.Upon entering was greeted and ushered over to a booth. Menus were given along with the option of using the QR code to retrieve a menu. Drink order was taken.Opted for the Classic Combo, Pancake, Turkey Club, Truffle Fries and of course Appleslaw. Now this Appleslaw tasted exactly how I know it is supposed to. It has sweet taste along with the bite of the Granny Smith Apple. It was my little piece of heaven that day. Now those Truffle Fries were done perfectly as well.Interior is several booths along with outdoor seating. It still has that 50's diner vibe. Very old school. However everything has the modern flair. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Music was playing in the background.Would def recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. No it is not the other owners. This is a new venture. However it is truly something worth trying. Staff were wearing masks for the Covid safety protocols.Location is Blue Diamond / Arville - parking can get congested"
"Parking was not a problem. I went on a Sunday at 11am.I ordered the following items:#1 Soul Rolls: egg rolls filled with mac n cheese, collard greens, sweet yams & fried chickenDYNAMITE! I would absolutely order these again. I feel like each bite tasted different because all the ingredients have distinct flavors.#2 Catfish Soul Bowl: couple pieces of fried catfish, mac n cheese, corn bread, and collard greensMy favorite thing on this plate is the macaroni; it's flavorful and the right amount of cheesy. The catfish was fried perfectly, although it could have been seasoned more. The rest was pretty standard. Wonderful! What made my lunch stand out is the music that was blasting... all the 90s R&B I love! I was feeling all kinds of good. :-) oh, and I can't forget the Kool-Aid done right with all the sugar."

So I heard that this breakfast joint has improved from what it was in the past, and like-WHOA I guess it's true even though I've never eaten here! We arrived here on a December Saturday morning and it surprisingly wasn't very busy. A party of four, we were immediately greeted at the door, and seated right away. The dining area is fairy small with booths all around. And for the most part, our table was clean, as was our utensils. My receipt says my server was Storm, but I'm not sure if that was his name; A big buff dude with a mellow personality. He made a few mouth-watering recommendations, and did an excellent job serving us too. Regarding breakfast, I tried the Country Fried Steak ($17) which was served with a circular rice-cake sized hashbrown. Not your typical hash, because I believe it was deep fired and good! But I could be wrong. As for the cf-steak, I had it medium-rare which was perfect! And I'd say it was a bit larger than a hockey puck. The only unexpected taste was the saltiness of the white sausage gravy. But mix in that crunchy hash and it all balances out! The rest of my family loved their breakfasts too!Nephew had the Chicken 'n' Waffles ($16), and he scarfed it down good. That Belgian waffle, 4 pieces, and crunchy chicken breast looked all sexy with that maple syrup on top. My nephew is growin' up boy!Cousin had the Cajun Shrimp Tacos ($10) in which she shared and I gotta say, it wasn't too spicy, but still tasty with every bite. Auntie had the Tomato Truffled Burrata Toast ($9), I did not have any, but she said she enjoyed it. Overall, I'd say that I would definitely come back. It's fairly small inside, but wasn't as crowded as some of the other breakfast joints in the area. Prices are fair to above-average, but what you get in return is a happy stomach. Service was on-point as I have no complaints. And I guess with the recent remodel of the place, please be aware that they may update their menu. As I've noticed on their current website menu. Give these locals a try! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Okay, Vegas fam, buckle up because I'm about to rave about Pretty Soul Kitchen! This place has been on my must-try list for ages, and let me tell you, the wait was pure culinary bliss. My schedule is usually a whirlwind, but I knew I had to carve out some time for this gem. We arrived early, and everything was an absolute delight. The food? Oh, the food! Imagine the freshest, most flavorful soul food you can conjure up, then multiply it by ten. That's the kind of magic Pretty Soul Kitchen is serving. Every bite was a revelation - perfectly seasoned, cooked with love, and bursting with soul. Seriously, I give it a solid 10 out of 10.Now, I'm a stickler for good service, and Pretty Soul Kitchen delivered! The staff was attentive, and friendly, and made us feel right at home. They truly added to the overall experience, making it even more enjoyable. The only minor detail (and I mean minor!) was the coolant being a tad sweet for my taste. But hey, that's easily remedied by letting the ice melt a bit. Plus, the sheer deliciousness of the food more than compensated. And let's talk about that menu! It's a treasure trove of soul food goodness, with so many tempting options that I already know I'll be back soon to conquer them all. Pretty Soul Kitchen, you've officially won me over. You're not just a restaurant; you're an experience that nourishes both the body and the soul.

The quality is SO tasty! The quantity was just a bit smaller than we anticipated but everything was delicious. This is not your "cheap" stuff yourself sushi, it is a meal we ate slowly and savored(which is generally difficult for my hubby haha). It had been on my sushi yelp list to try forever. If we are looking for a fancy date night in, we will definitely circle back to try more.

"Had the pleasure of grabbing some food from this establishment a few weeks ago with my son, husband and daughter and the food was great! I was lucky enough to snag the last order of fries and we got probably hands down the tastiest lumpia in town! Tacos are top notch as well as the musubi. Food looked and tasted amazing and service was excellent as well. Looking forward to seeing them again soon!"
