I'm always on the search for good fries, and this was it. If I lived in LV, I'd go back to fulfill all my French fry dreams!Oh we got falafel to share at the table. My sister and bro each got their own chicken, lemon, and rice soup My sister and bro also shared the gyro platter and still had left over rice for dinner My nephew tried for the first time the feta cheese on his burger and loved it. He ate half of the over flowing bowl of crispie fries. My feta fries were covered woth perfectly melted cheese and herbs. I dipped my fries in tzatziki sauce and hummus. .the tables were clean with dries flowers. The restrooms were spotless. We will be back again for family adventures."

"My friends and I had a BLAST here! Coolest hookah lounge I've ever been to. We had 2 rounds of hookah. The guava mint was my favorite combo. The food was incredible! We got the sampler, mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese and more. All of it was 5 stars easy!Kawika was our server and he was so patient with our large group. We were all over the place with conversations and wanting food at different times. He was excellent and so nice to us. Great atmosphere for large groups, intimate date night or even solo. I am hesitant to write a review since I think this spot benefits from being tucked away from the strip, but I think they will appreciate a rating.What to know:- make reservations 48hr ahead- preorder menu for reservations, need to call 24hr ahead- large shared parking lot- real good food. 50-80 $/pax- no liquor license (yet - they are a new restaurant and expect their license by March 2025)Food highlights: (everything was ordered in advance, not sure if thats completely necessary)- Squid con patatas: fresh and tender baby squid, cooked the best I have had. Potato was very yum and soft. Mixed with onion and parsley- Pan con salmon: bread with salmon and mustard sauce (tapa). One order is one piece only. Salmon was broken into chunks, not overcooked. Mustard sauce with dill was nice.- Almond cake: delicious cake served with ice cream (not your average haagen dazs) and berries- Pan con tomate (added ham): tomato flavor is light and refined. I don't like the artificialness of canned tomato products and thought these tasted great. We added spanish ham (we were told from Serrano) which I thought was worth the extra cost. Very flavorful and cut in-houseOnly the mussels I thought were under the bar set by the other dishes. Everything else was near perfect. The owners are a couple who run the whole operation, from taking your order to making your dessert. They are great to chat with as well. Excellent service and atmosphere."

"Safta 1964 By Alon Shaya is a Modern Middle Eastern Style Restaurant located in the Jardin in the Encore part of the Wynn Casino/Hotel. This restaurant is by James Beard Award Wining Chef Alon Shaya. His Denver location of Safta is Michelin Recognized. The Las Vegas Location has a stunning atmosphere. It's light, It's bright and airy. The furniture is beautiful. The floor is also beautiful with tiles that make a colorful floral design. They also have outdoor seating in a beautiful garden. By day this is a different restaurant called Jardin that is open for breakfast and lunch so Safta 1964 by Alon Shaya is only open for dinners.Safta translates to Grandmother in Hebrew. This restaurant is a tribute to the chef's Grandmother who influenced and contributed to what is served here.They started us off with a complimentary keepsake polaroid shot of us at a pretty wall of flowers in the restaurant. Then we walked by the interesting bar area and I noticed a book about food written by the chef.We were greeted by a number of different people during our visit.We started out by sharing a BUNCH of things. We shared the Salatim Platter (dips, spreads, vegetables, pita) hummus, and falafels. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY BY EVERYTHING! Everything was delicious. The hummus was among the very best I tasted anywhere. It had a creaminess like only the very best can have. Falafels were the herby type with a shattering crisp exterior. All of the Salatim platter was delicious. Our favorite was the eggplant/pepper/tomato spread (Lutenitsa) Sooooogood! (we packed up some pitas and a little dip so we could save a little room but would have been easy to just eat)We ordered a lot so we shared the Dover Sole Schnitzel. It was fried nice and the fish was sweet and seemed fresh. It came with tzatziki sauce and these very good and pretty onion petals. This was good but didn't pop as much as everything else.I was full by now but wanted to try dessert anyway. We tried the Safta's Delights. They were ALL VERY VERY GOOD but it also was an amazing adventure of not one, NOT two, not three, not for BUT FIVE KINDS of bite sized miniature desserts. FIFTEEN of them. Blueberry rugula, halvah, baklava, a fancy chocolate/coffee dessert, and our favorite a teeny tiny lemon tart. I would highly recommend getting this.Our servers were helpful, and kind. It was very thoughtful to give us reheat directions for our pita breads.The chef was there and thanked us for coming and asked for our feedback.Parking was easy and free. (First three hours are free and we don't have to drive on much strip to get here)If you love different flavors and also enjoy vegetables I would highly recommend dining at Safta 1964 by Alon Shaya."

The service is excellent, the staff were warm and friendly.The restaurant is small in size but thanks to the open kitchen and high ceilings it feels much bigger and extremely comfortable.My better half had the spaghetti and meatballs as I tried the linguine with clams which by the way were loaded with clams. When we told her it was our first time, she was eager to give us a little tour of the venue and invited us back for brunch, music on the rooftop, and mentioned that the place is popping during First Friday. It's impressive.To begin, the G&T is outstanding. Hendrick's gin is cryo-infused with cucumber, mint, juniper, grapefruit, and black lemon greatly boosting the natural characteristics of the gin. Dried capers, black lemon, and fresh citrus zest garnish. The flavor is so complex it bests the former champion, the Ultimate from Jose Andres.To pair, the "royal caviar fateer". Think of a puff pastry tart shell filled with clotted cream, chives, dill and all topped with caviar; sublime. Tip: opt for 1/2oz of caviar to prevent it becoming overly salty. The chilled lobster salad, one of the best. Perfectly cooked lobster tail and claw meat is cut into bite-size pieces and paired with blistered sweet peppers, fresh mango and ripe avocado all dressed with an Egyptian spiced mango coulis. Perfectly balanced, extremely refreshing.Finally, the whole (head removed) oven roasted red snapper is a must. The thick, perfectly cooked snapper is sat atop a bed of sliced yukon gold potatoes and fennel. It is topped by a spiced tomato and pepper sauce along with halved kalamata olives. Extraordinarily juicy and tender throughout. This is one of the best prepared fish dishes in Vegas. The portion is gigantic and could be shared by two people.Outstanding 1500 selection wine book. Pretty cool experience that they come around and do this tradition of washing your hands in a pot. I'd recommend bringing some cash if you want to tip the entertainers. The 6 courses started you off a shrimp scampi, delicious, you need to dip the bread in the sauce also hahah. Next course was the lentil soup, fresh and warm. 3rd course consisted of pita, falafel with hummus and Mediterranean yogurt. The 4th course was the beef kabobs, super tender and cooked just right!! 5th course was the chicken and at that point I'm already stuffed! Chicken fell right off the bone and it was good combined with everything else. I'd highly recommend coming here for a good time!!"
