He sang a few songs including Doo wop (that thing) in his black backwards cap and a cigarette in his mouth. *swoon" :) The crowd was loud, fun, and good vibes all around. Still my favorite lounge in Vegas and will always pay a visit when I'm in town. There is still a strict NO phone policy so "What happens in the Pinky ring, stays in the pinky ring"! Shh!!!!"

Mike G. "On Monday nights at 10:30 they have live music here. Lots of horns and a cool electric guitar player. But there's too many musicians on stage - twelve? One of these guys could entertain a crowd for an hour. 12 is acoustic overload. Also the place is always balls to the wall crowded. Tough to find a seat. The Palms should find another venue in their large casino for the Howard Stern show comedian (Howard Stern?? that's so 1998?) who performs here on weekends and let a couple of these guys play. They rock. Let them rock more, Mr Maloof. And let the 90s go sir. They no longer belong in your casino in this day and age."

Once checked in you enter a clear Willy Wonka elevator, press any button and you're whisked away to anywhere in the building... but this elevator only has one button right up to the Skyfall lounge. You'll see the Luxor and Mandalay hotels while you're acceding on this fun ride. Walking in first impression, elegant romance. The soft glow of "sit down and enjoy" was a welcomed relief to end the night. The views are stunning you really can't believe you're on the 64th floor. Lounge U shaped low back couches and short stools are gathered around a little fire pit cocktail table. Your party will be rubbing shoulders with the next group if you come on a busy night. Luckily we had a whole area to ourselves. Some areas were empty. You can walk around and see the expansive views throughout the lounge. Service was excellent and accommodating. Really worth visiting to experience the views."

Phil H. "Wow. I never experienced this place. And I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. There's a place to buy cigars in-house. With a great humidor. Smoke them right there after you buy them. Parking is plenty, and free parking is near the streets perpendicular to it. Well, for now, as it's all building up that part of town. The venue is kind of hidden, but that makes it great. Drinks were expensive. I paid $30 for a single old fashion. Out of my price range. As neighboring bars charge half that, and I can tip better in the long run. And get more for my money. They have a DJ most times of the week. Plenty of rooms and private rooms. It's well light. Seating is comfortable. It's clean. Inviting. And well ventilated to the point my cigars do stay lighted. Perfect place. Bartenders are spot on. A very tasty OldFashioned which says why I was charged premium. Not bitter, but honey whiskey. Wow. So that made up for the charge. Talk about a good time. I'll visit this place again and frequent the location downtown more often."

Song C. "Interesting place where the real locals hang out. Was there on a Wednesday night until about 12 am. If you want to Karaoke and dance like you did in middle school, this is the spot. There's a stage and an actual dance floor. The stage is surrounded by tables with settings so that you can have a full meal and then get your groove on. They serve Filipino food - not Vietnamese like someone else wrote -_-We didn't order any food so I can't comment on it but some folks from our party ordered food to go. The bar is a bar. Don't expect to get any fancy cocktails here. Just ask for shots, beer, or something simple like gin and juice or vodka soda. This can turn into a fun crazy night if that is the vibe you are going for! Meaning, you want to relive your youth from the 80s and 90's. You get what I mean? I gave it two stars because it's not MY vibe and I probably wouldn't go back on my own volition. However, if a bunch of friends wanted to go and I was in a big group where I could hide in the corner, like I did, then yah, I'd go again to people watch =) The owner greeted us and seemed really nice and genuine so I upped my two stars to three."

My wife and I are walking to the monorail and see on the lower level "The Cabinet of Curiosity"Now me being a curious fellow, I'm open to the mystery and I'm intrigued by the speakeasy. After dinner my wife and I head towards the bar. When you first walk in there's a lounge area and a nice looking bar. But then there's a locked door?? The bartender said we need to make a reservation. I scan the QR code and head toward the telephone ...I say party of two please. The door opens and now we're inside a locked atrium. The hostess says you can climb thru and go the chicken way or figure out the clues to enter like a hero. Well my knees say no bending so we guess 99 percent of the clues. I'm thinking I can put her in a choke hold and get the last clue but that's not very sporting. My wife looks up, finds the last clue and we enter a new bar area. If you know Trader Sams at Disneyworld, it's the same concept. Cool bar / bartenders except the cabinet has a two drink per person minimum. I tell the bartender, I want strong drinks! I'm getting on the monorail so let's get to drankin'! Man.. that bartender was spot on! She made some crazy bourbon drink called: Pappa Brown Butta. I could have ordered 4 by myself!I checked into Yelp and got a free appetizer. The bartender was flustered and brought the manager over. He didn't understand the Yelp app so I explained there's a button to push to use the free item. Some people might scam and take a picture so make sure they push the button in front of you. If you don't want to go to the Spring Mountain area for Karaoke then this is the spot for you.The ambiance of this whole location is amazing even from the very door you enter through. You're greeted at the entry way with a bar filled with RGB and reflection. And this lighting continues all the way to your karaoke room.I wasn't the one who rented the room so I can't speak on that part of service, but ordering drinks was a breeze as a server will come in and ask if you need anything. Also if they happen to be busy, you can always go to the bar and order whatever you'd like. I haven't tried to food either so I won't be able to recommend anything in that department. But I do know that walking through the hallway, the kitchen smell lingers through the hallways which is an advertisement in its own.The karaoke room we were in was a bit more high scale with the interior decorations and the couches reminding me of an upscale Las Vegas hotel. We didn't go through the selections on the karaoke machine because we kept picking random YouTube songs."

Michael U. "Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction - though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock have led to disputes about both the heritage and legacy of Lotus going forward.Having visited the icon of Thai Food several times prior Thursday evening found the concept from Tao Group owner Lou Abin at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa as busy as it is beautiful with improved service.Built out of former Buffet space, lanterns and hanging vines creating a vibe across spaces from bar to the back, it is with a truncated version of Chutima's Northern Thai traditions that Lotus at Red Rock pays homage to the original with service more appropriate to Summerlin.Requesting everything level five of ten, Thai Coffee and signature Riesling a prudent choice for those looking to quell the fire, Dinner began with hot Wonton Soup alongside Issan Sausage that is snappy, sour and worth every word of praise. Not forgetting better-than-expected Egg Rolls or Nam Prik Ong teaming with Chilis, Vegetables and Pork Rinds used as delivery mechanisms, Garlic Crispy Prawns continue to earn "Mom's Highlights" status with edible Shells still on and varying textures from bite to bite. All in on Noodles and Curry, Beef Pad See Ew well executed but lost in the wake of two styles of fried Rice, any residual grains are well-utilized in sopping up the Sauce from Crispy Duck Chu-Chee or Panang Curry with medium rare Ribeye."

We enjoyed this spot so much, we ended up coming back twice in 3 nights.First off the cigar room and selection is massive. As someone who doesn't know much about cigars, the staff was super helpful in selecting one that fit our flavor profile. You'll pick your cigars, they cut and light them for you, and you can enjoy it in their lounge. The lounge is comfortable and the bar area has some video slots if that's your thing. The first visit we got a really cool bartender, who elevated the experience. The second time, we ordered espresso martinis which the waitress (without asking) made it with premium tequila with casa migos. If you are gonna put the more expensive stuff (which isn't needed for a mix drink anyway) at least tell us first and let us pick a tequila we'd enjoy. Either way, still a fun spot and would definitely go again based on their cigar selection alone."

We sat so long for that one food item that they refilled our hookah and gave us free shots, but it wasn't enough. We won't be back. The service Thursday (only ones there at 10 pm & when we left) was good. YT girl with baby hair was great. Chef came out and cater to my dietary restrictions. He was nice. 0 stars : Saturday we came back and jasmine was starts with a t and ends with a h. My friend noticed an attitude. I noticed she was too busy talking to the other staff at the bar vs. speeding up with drinks !!!! It was 4 of us and NO ONE ELSE the whole time around 11 pm !!! It shouldn't have taken the bartender 15 minutes to make drinks (2). Again I saw from the other side this little girl & everyone working was too busy talking. She eventually came with food and there was no cheese on the burger. She dropped the food off and left. We are waiting to see if she comes back and check on us .... Nope. I had to go GET HER. As I told her there was no cheese on the burger. She said they don't have any cheese. I asked her why did you tell us that when you drop the food off she said I don't make the food. That's not what I asked she's too busy having an attitude she wasn't smart with her response. So you knew that when you drop the food off but you decided you were gonna keep that information to yourself, not tell the customer, not give the customer any other options, and go back to your seat so you can talk. Not one of her bells went off!!! I don't think the whole service she came back and asked us if we needed anything because I saw her getting food at the bar. There were only four people at the restaurant the whole entire time we were there at 11 PM. How are you eating and chatting during service of your customers? 4 customers Y'all need the money not us. She dropped off takeout boxes. She didn't ask by the way if it was needed and the check on the table. I don't even think she told us about it. Then the bartender had to come in after I ran him down to come get the check because the girls too busy flapping her gums.Stop hiring these little girls with the attitude or if you know good and well you have three people at any time late at night, maybe the owner should be more of a participant and be there just to make sure his staff is acting right. she pissed me off and it took everything out of me it to say something cause baby"

Not the easiest place to navigate with the 95-year-old with me! So, my aunt and cousin were let out and the hubby and I went to park the car in the parking garage and find our way back (partly in the dark). The reception took the entire second floor, but it was so smoke filled. We spent most of our time on a cool little balcony off the main room, but the heavy smoke was also drifting up from below us.
