Angela D. "The best authentic Mexican food with so many choices. I go right when they open to beat the lines, and then walk off all the food I ate with some shopping after. It can't get no better than this on the North East side of Vegas. Service is quick because they stay hustlin' over here. Bring a wagon to haul all your things because you have no idea what you might leave with lol"

Jesse L. "This place is ok.. just okThe prices can't be complained about since your in a stadium but for the price you should get some better quality sauce or sauce choices. Our sandwich looked great but the bland sauce hurt it and the same with the nachos. You get a pile of nachos with a small amount of cheese and the same exact sauce. The food, 2 beers and a sprite were almost $100. The best thing about the experience was the free sticker and logo pin I got from the counter.... I'm not one to leave bad reviews either but this is just how I felt yesterday for the Raiders game."

Guy K. "In A Nutshell:-The tacos here are really worth the hype.-I've waited for a while to over to this part of town & glad I made the effort.-They have a drive-thru setup which is interesting being that this is a food truck located in a run down gas station/automotive shop.-I enjoyed 4 tacos: cabesa, al pastor, pollo & chorizo.-Each one tasted so good & unique.-The diced onions, salsa, turnips & sliced lime were nice sides to add on the tacos.Overall, the service was very friendly & fast. I would come here again for sure for their delicious tacos!"

All of their food is vegetarian or vegan and I tried the curry burrito. It was so delicious and well worth the wait. The service was great as well, the two men running the stand at this event were super friendly and made sure I received my order. I would love to try more of their menu items in the future!"

Shirley B. "Spotted this cute food truck while checking out the cars out at the Super Run Classic Car show. I didn't want to order anything too cumbersome to carry since I wanted a free hand to take pix of the cool cars while walking. I wasn't really hungry either so those corn nuggets they had on the menu would be perfect! The young lady who took my order was friendly. We talked about how they need to start tweeting since I have never heard of them other than they said they did Vegas Streats. I rely on social media to track many of the food trucks around town. Wait time was less than 5 minutes . The nuggets were in a paper tray and very hot from being just out of the fryer, but it didn't take that long to cool off . Golden brown, had nice crunch when I bit into it. Inside creamy and kernels of sweet corn. Nothing spectacular, but I liked it! It was portable, it wasn't messy and didn't get all over the place so I was happy with my first order here. Looking forward to trying out their other menu items if I can track them down next time!"

Their tacos de tripa (Beef Intestines/Chitlins/Chitterlings) is still the best in town(request them EXTRA CRISPY!) .Prices increased to $1.75 a taco($2.00 for Lengua/Beef Tongue) and for those that prefer flour tortillas, they sell "Arab Tacos at $2.00 each. Their Al Pastor is equally good, and sometimes we get a couple of burritos to go.If you find yourself on the Eastside, hit them up on 30th and E Charleston. Last time I came to see them at a vegan food festival, hubby and I tried the menudo and mango agua fresca with a chamoy and tajin dipped rim. Both were absolutely delicious and addicting. They are so nice and have excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend!"

Renee N. "I had such a pleasant experience meeting the owner of this shop Tylor this morning at the Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market. Everything from the pasta to the butters to the sauces are all handmade. There is even a vegan pasta (covers my daughter) and gluten free options. I have been on a roll lately tasting and enjoying fresh pasta and I could not pass up an opportunity to try Tylor's brand. I ended up purchasing their Capellini pasta and will be eating tonight. Can't wait!I plan to check out this store next week and try some sauces, potato gnocchi, ravioli, and the garlic butter.Tylor explained to me that many of his ingredients come from Italy that he uses in his products. That is all you had to say to me. The eggs used in the pasta come from naturally raised hens. You can also orders your pasta online and they deliver! Wow! Love the service. In addition, check their website as they are selling at local Farmers Markets around town.I am excited to support this small business and I think you should too. Check them out!"

I stumbled across the food truck while riding bikes with my daughter and since that day we look forward to coming back for more! Our favorites that Chef Dwayne freshly cooks are the chicken skewers, chicken teriyaki bowl, and the spicy pork! Oh and I can forget to mention Kim serves a mean shaved ice! This truck is really a one stop shop and you know they are authentic when furikake is available! Oh, and feeling like you cannot decide? The amazing Nakana will help you navigate the menu and your tastebuds! This is an ohana business where you truly feel like family!! Aloha!!!"

Home-Made Ice Cream

Home-Made Ice Cream

★★★☆☆ 3.2 (15) • $

Amanda M. "This is not your average ice cream novelty truck. The trailer is very generic in appearance with a boring name that would fit right in at the food court of a county fair. The old-fashioned ice cream maker on display convinced me to check out the variety of frozen desserts being produced in the Snackers parking lot. The gears are moving complete with cartoonish sound effects, but it's just for show. The ice cream is actually made in a different facility for obvious reasons. You'll find about a dozen classic ice cream flavors available in your choice of a cup or cone, including vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, pistachio, mint chip, and other standards. I'm unsure of exact prices, but I paid $7 for a kid's cup and a small cup, so I think it's reasonable for a home-made/handmade product. The rocky road featured a chocolate base with pieces of almonds, chocolate chips, and marshmallows (store-bought), but my daughter's cookies and cream won the flavor test. Both were a bit sweet for my palate and I'd be happy with a kids size serving. The texture was great! It was soft like it had been churned recently, and very creamy without ice crystals. It also seemed to have less air incorporated than your average gas station Thrifty or Breyer's. I'm describing gelato. Maybe it was frozen custard.Stop by for a taste of home-made nostalgia! I don't know hours of operation or any other information on this business because I can't locate it on social media, but I can confirm that they were open around 5pm on Thursday. The location is convenient to Chinatown and The Strip. There is one parking space reserved for ice cream customers just to the right of the truck."

Antonia M. "Little mom & pop shops like this one melt my heart! Note: They are only open during the Weekend Fantastik Indoor Swap Meet! Hours: Friday - Sunday 10am - 6pm ($1 cash entry to get into Swap Meet)We cruised the classic indoor swap meet and made a stop here because we saw a group of kids lined up in front of this food stand to buy freshly fried mini doughnuts. They looked awesome & smelled even better so we asked the owner if we could taste a sample. He graciously obliged and after one bite, we were hooked! They're made fresh to order & dangerously good. Hot, crispy, light and fluffy, be careful, I couldn't stop eating them! You can have your doughnuts covered in powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar (my favorite!) They somewhat reminded me of churros I've had in Mexico from a legit street cart. Score! These little doughnut treasures were a super popular item with everyone that stopped by the stand. However, I also spotted: Hamburger, fries, gyro, hummus, gyro, stuffed grape leaves, and they even have authentic Persian delights such as: Beef koobideh or chicken with basmati rice and also Turkish coffee! We love Persian cuisine so we were so excited to see that! They accept card or cash and everything is super cheap. Mini Doughnuts are 6 for $2, 12 for $3.50, 24 for $6 - the more the merrier! A plate of beef koobideh with basmati rice is $8. Water bottles are $1. They also have an attached dining area were you can sit and enjoy your food. The husband and wife team are very cute & super sweet. They treat all of their guests like family & friends. We really appreciate businesses like this little shop and can't wait to come back!"

Stefany V. "I've heard great things about Yaad Patty and finally got a chance to try them at a local farmer's market. We had already tried another food truck beforehand, so grabbed one regular beef patty to share - they're actually really good sized, bigger than my hand. The dough is crazy flaky, too, so keep it in the paper pouch to avoid making a giant mess. I personally didn't love the beef filling, it seemed fairly one-note. But I am looking forward to finding them again to try their jerk chicken."

Michael U. "Encountered while browsing the vendors at Last Friday, Just Add Water Street in Henderson, there seems to be little information available on El Dogg's Sauces & Grill, but based on first impression there is not much to like about the concept in terms of preparedness, taste or cost.Located along the upper rim of Eateries, not far from a jump house for kids and best found by following the trail of smoke emitted from their open grill, El Dogg's describes itself as "Home of The Hotdog Sauce" and featuring an angry looking Weiner in their logo the choices consist of just four options, a Burger for $4, 7 inches of Sahlen's Smoke House Dog for $3 or $7-8 per foot-long plus $1 for each additional topping. Seemingly a fairly new operation, the Dogs just put on the grill a minute prior to the event's 6:00pm start and "The Hotdog Sauce" still cold and requiring nearly forty minutes to heat up, it was through a self-admitted first-day clerk and cashier that orders were placed with $17 exchanged for one snappy Polish Dog topped with Heinz from a Bottle plus the Beef Link that would arrive almost fifteen minutes later, neither of them any 'better' than a typical Hot Dog while "The Hotdog Sauce" was thin, not particularly meaty and still luke-warm as the hour approached seven o'clock."

Well known for their Lot J location at Allegiant stadium, today they were selling at Mesquite Sports Complex for a football youth tournament.I am familiar with Lot J tacos as I have Lot J parking for the Raiders NFL team and also the owner has a son that plays with my step son. All that being said, let's move on to the meat of the matter, literally, the carne asada burrito and carne asada tacos. The burrito supreme was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Sour crème and lettuce added a nice texture and flavor to the burrito and it was truly a delight to eat.The carne asada tacos were loaded with meat and loaded with flavor. While I've never eaten at Lot J tacos in the actual Lot J at Allegiant stadium due to me bringing my own tailgate food, this year I will probably have to pay them a visit on game day just out of principle."
