"We were starving and already at MGM that day and after seeing some vegan options on the menu we made a reservation for 5pm when they opened. We started with the vegan dim sum, which even my omni BF loved. We loved it so much we seriously considered ordering another one!! They were very tender and flavorful. For our entrees, we decided to share the mushroom hand-cut XO noodles and stir fry four vegetable. Both were delicious but I think we enjoyed the noodles more. Drinks were a bit pricey, but we found that to be the case everywhere we went in Vegas. We really enjoyed our meal and the servers were very attentive. We would definitely stop back!"
"A local, family gem! Fast, kind, friendly service! I get to practice my mandarin here, too - ha. Great authentic dishes and variety of dim sum options. So happy with the quality, fresh stir fry, hot and flavorful. Eggplant so tasty Soft pillow-y steam buns and fried Kung pow chicken great flavor!Delicious pan fried noodles Loved the veggies, radish cakes, shu mai, tofu, shrimp and my fav, the tofu wrapped bamboo and mushrooms dish -- can't wait to try more! Been here 3+ times. Always consistent and delicious!"

"Well...I delved into the world of vegan cuisine with a friend who is visiting and is a vegan. I was and still am very surprised by the experience. Great ambience...welcoming staff.Knowledge about foodExcellent taste and wonderful blend of flavors.Yes I had my suspicions...however, from the first bite I was convinced...this food is GOOD!Prices are reasonable.Portions are robust.Flavors are well balanced. Next time I want something different but also delicious I will revisit Chef Kenny."
"I've stopped by here for lunch a few times while I was in the area. The plaza may not look like much and parking can be difficult to find. If you don't speak the language, I feel like they don't really care to service you that much. In terms of food, the flavors are good. Never really have issues here besides communication."
"The food was decent. There was nothing special about it except maybe the wagyu sandwich. The wagyu sandwich was breaded with panko which had a unique crunch and flavor. It was also priced nicely. As a family we also had an order of California roll (flavor was good, but terrible quality of the actual roll), salmon belly nigiri (pretty good), shumai (kids loved it but having only 3 per order was a disappointment), and finally had the soft shell crab salad ( good crunch and flavor but was overly dressed)Much of the 3 star rating comes from the service. We were the first customers and ordered right away, but all in all it took nearly an hour to have all of what we ordered come out and would come out one at a time. There was only 2 other small families. The kitchen was understaffed and did not prioritize the customers who ordered first."

"A bit pricey but great looking restaurant and food, service and drinks were good! Would return when will have a chance"

Food was decent but I looooved that I ordered through Yelp after a class and drove 20 min to get there and my food was ready within the time estimated. I believe I came here on a late Sunday morning and ordered several items for a birthday lunch. They got the order perfect. The workers were friendly and the place looked clean. The parking lot was super busy but if you pass all the restaurants there's open parking past dim sum cafe.

Food: tastyService: quick and descriptiveAmbiance: clean, cultural, and open spaceWhat a great find! My family and I came here because we were eating vegan for the day.We ordered:Yee Shang eggplantWalnut shrimpDeep fried taro with chickenSpicy tuna sushi rollHouse friend riceCantonese fried fishEgg and vegetables noodleEverything was flavorful, fresh, and tasty! My favorite was the fried rice and Cantonese pan fried fish. The flavors and sauces on both were really good. Even though the sushi looked cool and was unique, I didn't like the it as much. The spicy tuna was made of carrot, and I don't really like mushy carrots like that.Chef Kenny was there for the Xmas holiday and he prepped a unique dish for us and another table. It was the egg with veggies noodle. It contained actual egg*. It was really good!My family was surprised by how much they liked the food. They are excited to go back and try other dishes!

This is one of the best dim sum places I've been to. They're always busy but I think that just shows the quality! We got seated immediately (somehow!) on a Monday at 12:15 for lunch and were greeted by all the carts we could need.We always order a bit of everything and when they don't have something you want on the cart, they will put an order in with the kitchen to special make!Their tea is great, their food is great, they even have soup dumplings (I haven't seen them have it before). Yum!

Hidden Gem Alert: Pot Wagyu Master - Chinatown, Las VegasChinatown in Vegas never disappoints, and honestly, it's where the real culinary magic happens--far from the overpriced spots on the Strip. Back in town, I finally made it to Pot Wagyu Master, a place I had bookmarked for a while, and it did not disappoint.Atmosphere? Cozy and inviting. Service? Top-notch. But the real star? The food--absolutely incredible. We went for the combo, which included: A5 Wagyu Sando (melt-in-your-mouth perfection) A5 Wagyu Nigiri (rich, buttery, unreal) A5 Wagyu Tartare (so flavorful) A5 Fried Rice (next-level umami) Wagyu Sukiyaki (comforting and indulgent) Kimchi Brussels Sprouts (a perfect punch of flavor)Every bite was a knockout. The flavor profiles were spot on, and not a single complaint--just pure satisfaction. Will I be back? Absolutely. If you're in Vegas, skip the Strip and check this place out!

This was my first time eating at the one in the Rio, I had previously eaten at the one in Harrah's SoCal, and on both occasions have really enjoyed the food! The restaurant is conveniently located in the Rio right across from the new food court and open for quite a long time, from 10am-10pm. It is what I consider a typical Chinese restaurant ambiance with its large interior and red decor. The service was also in line with an authentic Chinese restaurant with fast efficient service and the food was rather tasty. This time I tried the shrimp balls and beef chow fun which came in a large portion with tons of beef. The flavors of both dishes were flavorful and were a very satisfying dinner. The prices were a little more on the expensive side (I.e. $3 for side of rice) but considering that it's in a hotel/casino, seems about on point. I hear the dim sum is also good so I will have to return to try it!

"This place was absolutely phenomenal!! My best friend and I came to check in and we needed some time to kill. Our hungry stomachs led us to this place. I haven't had dim sum in a while so I was pleasantly impressed with the experience of it all. The moment we were seated, the carts came for us! These lovely ladies asking if we wanted this or that. Buns, noodles, dumplings, rice, and hot pot galore! Everyone was so kind when we politely declined our ever flowing table of steaming hot plates ! Hahah. We got the chicken fried rice, shrimp dumplings, what I think was a pork shumai topped with scallops (SO GOOD), veggie egg rolls, and steamed pork buns. These were delicious! All and every one of them. The place started off quiet and quickly packed up the closer it got to 12! I would totally come here again if I ever find myself in Vegas once more."
"12/17/24-Wanted to try this place- fellow Yelper Raymond had a great review..Being dim sum deprived- we came hungry-Smaller establishment - but filled with customers- Went with the soy sauce chow mein-Steamed bbq pork buns-Siu mai-Fried shrimp ball-Black bean spare ribEverything was good!Staff was very helpful- she was nice to fill it out.. as I was marking the wrong boxes.. lol..Definitely will be back- the gai Lon is on the dinner menu- so next time-Worth the trip to get fresh dim sum!"
"Came here due the really high reviews but definitely felt that it didn't live up to the hype. And it made sense after you sit down as there are incentives for a five star Yelp review. The better dishes we had were the salted egg tofu, pan fried seabass, roast duck, and eggplant in claypot. They were good but not necessarily outstanding. The roast pork looked good but it was cold and the bbq pork as well. The beef chow fun was mediocre. The black pepper short rib was ok... The service was very slow. Not sure if I would come back. Maybe I will try the dim sum next time."
"I attended a birthday celebration at this venue on a Friday night. The restaurant is located within the Suncoast Hotel and Casino. Parking was ample and it was easy to find the restaurant/venue. We were directed to the back section of the restaurant and with approximately 30 of us seated in the back part of the restaurant. After we were seated, they immediately served family style dishes 8 in total with a 9th bonus dessert item at the end.The portions were generous and family style. Macau Fried Rice, Jasmine Rice, Har Gow/Shuh Mai combo, Cantonese Fried Chicken, Noodles with Lobster tails, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Fish, and there were red bean bun desserts presented with the sliced birthday cake. The portions were generous and it seemed like the staff was accustomed to presenting these dishes at rapid fire speed. The food was brought out quickly and was quite delicious. I had to pick and choose wisely when it came to what I was going to eat since it was all so good! Each dish was full of flavor and made with care. The presentation (before we dug into each dish) was rather nice and visually appealing. The portions proved to be a bit large and as a result the rest of us that took part in the feast were able to go home with plenty of leftovers. The venue is also known for having good lunch specials and also popular for take out.The ambiance was welcoming, family friendly, open to all ages, and a casual venue. It wasn't too noisy and not super quiet, but medium level noise. We didn't end up having any alcohol type drinks there and opted to go to other adjacent venues to get our drinks. We were able to bring them back to this venue though.Great job with the staff in being able to quickly get our huge group seated and served. I'll definitely be coming back in the future. Great food at a reasonable price!"
"I went in earlier today on thanksgiving day around 2pm and it was already packed with a line. It moved quickly but there was still a lot of people so we waited about 45 minutes. Understandable since it's a holiday. Everyone I saw waiting in line was Asian mostly Chinese so I knew it just had to be good. They have the carts here and they walked by our table pretty often and had everything we liked. From reading the reviews, we must have gotten good seating. Service was pretty much nonexistent. It was hard to flag someone down for extra condiments, water, and the bill. But for some reason the bill came quick and so did the time it was for them to collect the bill. I guess all understandable since it is a holiday. Now the food was all really good! I was surprised and impressed! I was expecting subpar and overly hyped and not that great especially being inside a casino. Everything was perfectly seasoned and not at all salty or bland. We ordered our usual dim sums; ginger tripe, honeycomb, pork and shrimp shumai, pork ribs, steamed bbq pork buns, fried calamari, chicken feet, sesame balls, gyoza, and the crab balls. Our first time for the pork ribs and crab balls and omg they were delicious! I was looking for the tendon and shrimp hargow but didn't see them. All 10 items came out to $85 which is kind of pricey but well worth it."
"Been coming here for years and still the most solid Dim Sum spot in Las Vegas. Expect a long wait if you are eating in, but the line moves pretty quickly. Nice Asian decor and friendly service.Today we ordered to go and was very easy to call and place your order the day before for pick up. This visit we enjoyed the shrimp har gow 5/5, chicken feet with black bean sauce 5/5, baked egg custard 5/5, shrimp and pork wonton 5/5, fried shrimp ball5/5 rice noodle roll with xo sauce 5/5 and fried noodle special 5/5.Tip: Even open on Christmas for that dim sum craving or a spot to feed the family. Grab a menu for ease of ordering your next visit or to go order."
"Excellent dim sum served all day! We ordered the shumai, shrimp hargow, chicken feet, chives dumpling, chinese broccoli, sesame balls with yellow bean, chicken chow mein, beef ball, and shrimp wrapped in rice paper. Everything was so good and worth every bite! It cost us around $88 including hot tea. I was very happy & satisfied, hope to come back again when in town...these orchids of dim sum were beautiful in my mouth & in my tummy!"
"Overall, this spot has potential! While the service can vary from minimal to average, this time we were pleasantly surprised by a very sweet lady who seemed to be the manager. I appreciate that they offer a wide variety of vegetarian dim sum, which is a nice change from the usual offerings at dim sum restaurants. As for the Ambiance, its a typical Chinese jointEverything we ordered was quite good, but one downside was that they used paper plates. Here's what we tried: - Shu Mai - Pork Spare Ribs - Crispy Taro Pancake - Baked BBQ Pork Bun - Beef Rice Noodle - Golden Sand Lava Custard Bun Most items were typical and nothing overly extraordinary, except for the Golden Sand Lava Custard Bun. It was absolutely delicious! Although it's not something I would typically order, our sweet server highly recommended it, and I'm so glad we listened. It was a standout dish that I can't stop raving about!"
