"Just moved downtown and discovered this mark. Friendly staff. They have a grill in the back that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I tried the catfish, huge pieces nice and crunchy. Salty, but it was balanced out with tarter and hot sauce. Also ordered fries and you get a huge container for only $3. They have all of the good corner store snacks, candy and drinks! More pics of food coming soon. Next I'll try a burger"
"It's walking distance from the Palms casino I wouldn't suggest walking because it's on a bad neighborhood. There's laundry mat connected and a walkway between them. It's an old store and pretty run down they also have slot machines. The big surprise is they have excellent pizza. A slice is $2.50 and is really good I'm was really shocked but I stop in on my way past for a slice."
"OK! First time in Las Vegas trying Ethiopian food and that during a pandemic. So I chose delivery. Looked at the different menus available on DoorDash and GrubHub. Each appeared to have pros and cons. Since it was take out, I was not concerned about grocery vs restaurant. After all, some of the best tacos come from carnicerias. What did impress me? The huge package of injera. It was fresh though not made with teff. Since it was take out, I appreciated that not every dish was sent, wrapped up in injera. I prefer to make my own platter with the dishes on top of fresh injera. The veggie combo was good. Not as flavorful as many other places, but decent. The kit for was indeed raw, like we ordered. But the niter kibbe lacked some flavor. The lamb wot was not well spiced. I still had bones in it which I would have totally accepted, had the spicing been better.I appreciated the effort. The price was decent, probably a little inflated given the delivery system. I hope I get to try some others while in town."
"I was Kicking it in the hood, and waiting for my nephew to finish up an Yugi-oh tournament in the same strip center where Maria's is located. This neighborhood looks spooky, but what the heck, so is the nicest place in Las Vegas at night; Also, you don't see too much people begging for money at intersections at Nellis and Desert Inn. Looking at Maria Market from the outside would be an afterthought for most people, me included, but my nephew insistent on getting a Chimichanga from this place, and I thought he was nuts, but he told me it was pretty good. So we jumped in the car, and drove to the other side of the parking lot, and entered the stand alone building in which Maria's is located. When you walk in, you have this feeling of a old school Mexican neighborhood market, There a few penny slot machine as you enter, and to the right of the door is old meat market that has has small deli area. i don't think they sell their meat, because there isn't any prices front of them, and cook is consistently going to the cooler display to get Carne Asada to fry. In the back of the store is a small Mexican vegetable section, and of course Beer cooler along the perimeter. What surprised me, the food was pretty food, and cheap. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't the best Mexican food I ever had, but for the price and quality, it turned out to be a good deal. .99 cent for taco, and chimichanga for 4.00 it's not going to break the bank."

Yes, its in the rougher part of town but the YOU BUY WE FRY is delicious! You may see a couple arguing about infidelity or a crackhead getting comfortable by the dumbster. You might be waiting a minimum of like 30 minutes, but mind your business & when you get your FRESH meal, you're gonna enjoy every last bit of it! Staff is busy, yet friendly. There are a few different locations but this one is the best They also accept EBT

This is the convenience store attached to the laundromat that's close to the Palms / Gold Coast. It's where you go to get quarters for the laundry since they don't have machines in there. Otherwise it's just a standard convenience store but at the back they have $2.50 pizza slices that are actually large and pretty good. Plenty of other hawt stuff back there too, some basic hot dogs for $1, Jimmy Dean style breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for 1.50, etc.

Togo food was awesome. Specifically the Mojo tibs. They have a small dining area in the back if your really hungry and gotta eat. They have packed their meat so it won't get touched around. They also have a lot of spices if you like to cook.

One early morning, a friend brought me to this hole in the wall market on the East side. It's set inside a convenience store which is perfect because the market didn't open until 8am - We had 15 minutes to walk the store and buy some Mexican snacks and various meats on display. I went along for this because the sound of chilaquiles breakfast sounded bomb. For $5.99, if you wanted something else you could choose Chorizo & Eggs, Huevo Rancheros, or Ham & Eggs. Not to mention the ton of other things on menu. My friend got Mulita, which I'd never seen before - basically a toasted tortilla sandwich with meat, cheese, & guacamole. This place is great because of the quick access, and cheap prices. It's not necessarily the most flavorful but I still leave with the authentic Mexican experience and a full belly.

Herbst Market is a chain of markets in the Las Vegas areas usually connected to Chevron gas stations. Our family was visiting Vegas for a week, and we were lucky to find this market. It is way more than a market, they have a beautiful produce area, a beer cave and a small casino! The first night we got into town we stopped by this location, and I played at the casino and won a quick $60. The more we drove around the city, you notice more Chevron stations with the sign "Terribles." Terribles is a chain, and some of the stations have the Herbst Market with more grocery store items. They are very clean, have lots of goodies, and most will let you spin a digital roulette if you spend more than like $5 to win a coffee or fountain drink. If you're in the Vegas area, keep an eye open for the Herbst Market or Terribles sign. Great place to fill up on gas, shop, and hopefully win some quick $$!

Although the convenience store is called Sun City Express, the gas station itself is Sinclair. I come here because they have the lowest price on gas around my part of town (or any part of town really -- and I drive ALL over town because of my delivery job); however, my main gripes are that half the time I go get gas, they don't have receipt paper for self-serve users and at least 1 or 2 self-serve machines for gas are out of order. Half the time I go here, I can drive in and out with no sweat, but half the time some sort of problem arises when it comes to using the self-serve credit card stations.

"Love this place. Come here for all my gas and small needs, as well as stuff I don't need, like Krispy Kreme donuts and cheese popcorn They have a little of everything, from drinks to milk to veggies. They have a lot of cool stuff like fancy coffee machine and a milk shake machineNice addition to the neighborhood, and still pretty quiet, most people haven't found it yet."
"The thing this place has going for it is the location. Located at the corner of Lone Mt. and Decatur, it's an easy in and out. There is never really a crowd and the inside has recently been given a facelift. It was clean inside and offered the standard faire as far as convenience stores go. The gas is a little higher than what you would find down the street, but it Is Shell gas, which is good quality. They also have an ATM for those in need of some quick cash."
"I usually drive out of the way to this location for fuel and snacks. They generally have the best price on both. Seems to be a great spot for beverages and they will do their best to omake special orders from vendors to fulfill customer requests. Post office located inside for convenience."
"Small mom and pop store with all the necessities you can find at a grocery store. Not too many other grocery shops in the area so this definitely was needed. Owner was very nice. Check out service was quick and efficient."
