Our server never checked in and I would have even ordered wine to try and forget about the pasta."

"I absolutely love Lotus of Siam and knowing this, a friend recommended Lamaii to us. And this person did not steer us wrong. Lamaii may not be as well known as Lotus of Siam, but their food is very comparable at a better price tag. Located in a plaza in Chinatown, the spot looks humble on the outside. Walking inside, it's not a big restaurant but decent-sized and the decor is fancy-ish, at least much nicer than most Thai restaurants I've been to in my neck of the woods (SGV and Hollywood in the Greater LA area). So it's wonderful choice for a casual get-together but also fancy enough for a more casual date night. Items we ordered:Hamachi Crudo (it was one of the specials they had on the menu)Garlic Herb Crispy PrawnsPanang with Crispy DuckGang PuGarlic String BeansHamachi Crudo was different and not something you'd typically find at a Thai spot but theirs was delicious - fresh and a lot of bright flavors. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns were delicious as well although IMHO, not as on point as Lotus of Siam but pretty darn close. Panang with Crispy Duck - okay, this was the best and most memorable out of the things we ordered. The panang was a flavor bomb with all the right balance of flavors and creaminess...and for all the roasted duck lovers...this is IT!!!Gang Pu, which is a Spicy Crab Curry, isn't a common find at Thai places. I've only had it at Luv2Eat in Hollywood. While Luv2Eat's version rivals (with more accompaniments like fresh basil, bean sprouts, string beans, carrots and a hard-boiled egg, to enjoy with the curry and noodles), Lamaii's is a strong option in its own right. Simple but very flavorful nonetheless and the crab comes shelled so it makes for easy eating.Not quite a 4 and not quite a 5...more like a 4.5 for Lamaii but I like to round up. If you're like me and love Lotus of Siam, you'll love Lamaii as an alternate option. They do get packed - we went for dinner a bit before 5 pm and there was another seated table inside upon our arrival but within 10 - 15 mins, and definitely halfway into our meal, the place was packed. So be an old lady like me and opt for an earlier dinner if you don't want to wait long and get hangry. Eat lots and enjoy at Lamaii!"

We started with the vegan dim sum, which even my omni BF loved. We loved it so much we seriously considered ordering another one!! They were very tender and flavorful.For our entrees, we decided to share the mushroom hand-cut XO noodles and stir fry four vegetable. Both were delicious but I think we enjoyed the noodles more. Drinks were a bit pricey, but we found that to be the case everywhere we went in Vegas. We really enjoyed our meal and the servers were very attentive. We would definitely stop back!"

We typically stick to our favorites: Pan-Seared Scallops, Stuffed Peppers, Steak and Mushroom Skewers, and I absolutely love the Bourbon Guava Basil Cocktail! They also serve Complimentary Bread and Butter, which are just as delicious.Every dish is packed with flavor, and I highly recommend them all! While we didn't order it this time, the steamed mussels are another standout, with an amazing depth of flavor.If you're craving steak, the petite filet is a solid choice, but the real star is the steak and mushroom skewers. The sauce-- a rich roasted garlic cream and red wine reduction--elevates them to another level.Firefly is a must-visit spot for us, and I can't recommend it enough!"

The menu was filled with classic cocktails, all being prepared before your eyes by well dressed staff with obvious passion for the product and guest experience!I enjoyed their version of a whiskey sour and a cocktail was well balanced, and easy to drink on my one clip was that the bartender did not double strain it and used the bar ice to make the drink which left a lot and I mean a lot of floating ice chips in it, which definitely ruined the experience for me Especially considering the price of these drinks.While hanging out in the bubble room, it's nice that you can look down into the dining room and see the live performances happening on the iconic stage here I love the vibe so much that I wanted to take a picture of the stage and show it to other people, but I was stopped by a bouncer, which I don't really understand . Perhaps there's a policy in place due to some special guest in the room. I'm not clear but I felt a little awkward to know that I couldn't take a picture of myself and my wife and such a beautiful space.All in all, this is a place that I want to return to and I think everyone should try to check out when they're in Vegas"

"Was visiting the Orleans Hotel and Casino with my family. It was around 9:15pm and not that many restaurants were open. We stumbled across Bailiwick which closed at 10pm. We were seated immediately and server, Mark assisted us. My cousin and I and ordered build your own pizza (pepperoni, onion, and mushroom) to share, while my mom opted for a club sandwich. The food was good, and the ambiance was pleasant. The service was also solid throughout our visit.The highlight, however, was Wall-E, their computer-on-wheels! Wall-E (unsure of his name but that's what I named him) delivers food to tables and clears dirty dishes, adding a fun and futuristic touch to the dining experience. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see him in action during our meal, as he was on a break when our food arrived.We enjoyed the food so much that we ordered takeout from Balliwick's the next day to eat in our hotel room. Unfortunately, they don't deliver to the rooms so I had to get it.Overall, Balliwick's at the Orleans Hotel offers good food, great service, and a unique atmosphere that's worth checking out!"

"I was struggling to find a spot to eat at the Red Rock Resort and I stumbled into this place. Oh my goodness, thank goodness I kept walking to check this place out. I was eating solo and selected a perfect spot at the sushi bar. It was happy hour and the menu was full of great deals. I ordered the sashimi rice bowl which came with miso soup and seaweed salad. The sashimi was super large pieces and there were 12 of them for the price of $34. Amazing price for such high quality sushi. The sushi chefs were so fun and welcoming. We had lots of laughs. I have a shellfish allergy and they took it so seriously. I really appreciate that! I'm likely going to eat here every night I'm here. Thanks for a great time and fantastic meal!"

Staff is amazing and provide an incredible experience they make you feel right at home and they go above and beyond. My go-to dish? Without a doubt, the steak and eggs. Best in town! The steak is always cooked to perfection--juicy, tender, and with tons of flavor. Paired with perfectly cooked over medium eggs and sourdough toast. Nothing I have tried on the menu has ever disappointed so no matter what you order you can't go wrong. Beyond the incredible food, instagram worthy dishes and their attention to detail to is unmatched. If you haven't tried Early Birds yet, I highly recommend 12/10. Summer House knows service and treating their clientele well!Dinner: My husband and I got the dream puffs for an app which was delicious, but our waiter suggested to get a side of marinara which really upped the game! I would make sure to add that on when ordering. The Costa Mesa was a perfect green addition--a balance of fresh, tangy and hearty! As for the mains we split the ribs. When the staff here tells you something is big, they aren't lying! We got the meal split and it looked like two separate meals.Brunch: The short rib eggs look small, but are hearty and fulfilling. The short rib falls apart in your mouth and I loved the flavor on the potatoes. The tostadas were also the perfect mesh of flavors and the avocado was so fresh! Deserts: I'm not usually a desert person...but don't skip out on the lemon gooey cake! Wowwowwowww. As for brunch, the cinnamon roll is a must. Again, not kidding on the huge size, you definitely get your moneys worth AND it might be the best cinnamon roll I've had. The icing, blueberries and lemon candy on top make it so good. I just wish the icing was more tart than sweet, but that's a personal preference.Cookies: When you walk into Summer House is the BIG cookie bar. $5 a piece isn't terrible for the size, and we asked for the cookie to be heated and they gave us almond milk to dunk in. The sea salt chocolate and coconut chocolate chip will make you dance in your seat.Overall, Summer House has something for everyone, the space is beautiful and inviting and the staff will treat you right. That's because old people get to order from the half off menu, lasting nearly all day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and here's a sample: The El Cortez burger, a massive 1/2 pounder with Applewood bacon, cheese, and fries - a $10 steal. Turkey Cobb salad - only $10.50.Big bowl of matzo ball soup - $6.50 for Boomers.NY strip steak and eggs with hash browns & toast - $15.50. Three egg omelet with bacon & cheese - $10.German chocolate cake and apple crumble pie - $5.50 each.Half roasted chicken w/Yukon potatoes and mixed veggies - a mere $12 (it's actually fully roasted, not undercooked and half roasted...so don't fear E. coli). My friends (also old, gray, and wrinkled) opted for the NY steak & eggs and an El Cortez hamburger while I downed the roast chicken plate and a bowl of matzo ball soup with big chunks of white meat chicken. There were four reservations ahead of us that were waiting for tables.The ambiance is nice and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, the service was slow. We started with sliced bread, that was similar to a croissant in texture, served with butter and honey. I had a cup of the soup of the day - minestrone - which was chunky, fresh, and warm.We ordered the chicken piccata and the beef bolognese. I paired my bolognese with pinot noir. The portions were large and all ingredients were fresh and rich.We received a free birthday creme brulee for the honoree which was wonderful. The caramel crackling was nice and caramelized and the cream was light & yummy. We, also, received two dice-sized squares of an olive oil cake. It was simple, dense, and subtly sweet."

The cocktails are OUT of this world delicious and the ambiance is just absolutely beautiful.We stopped in before a Knights game and my sister in law had set up a reservation for her and her friend, and were able to add a bunch of us to the reservation no problem. I thought that was so nice that they accommodated all of us. They seated us no problem in a lounge type of setting, which was so nice. Our server was spectacular and did such a great job at taking care of us. We also told her we needed separate checks and she was super accommodating with that, too. I ordered the specialty gin cocktail (Nod to Nothing) and it was soooo good and refreshing. Not to mention, just beautiful. I loved it. Another friend got a negroni and his cocktail was rather delicious, too. My husband ordered the smoked old fashioned which was just delightful, too. So good. Seriously a huge fan of the cocktails.We had a couple food items, too, and I got to try the fried chicken which, WOW, I can see why it's a favorite. It was sooo good and the sauce gave it a nice little kick. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the perfect amount of crispy. We also got the fava bean hummus which was also so tasty and delicious. I really couldn't stop eating both of these items and would recommend both.Again, absolutely love this cocktail bar.
