"Run of the mill pizza. Not bad my any means but not what I'm looking for. Wanted a slightly thinner crust and cheese that strings out when you try to take a bite. I'm born from East Coast (live in Vegas for 11 yrs) so I'm biased. Love that they sell by the slice tho!"
"Ate here for the first time a few days ago and it is worth the hype. On arrival they have a nice size parking for the size of the restaurant, most ppl were pickkng up. The place isn't huge, it's the size of most authentic bbq joints. It is really well decorated, clean and comfortable. The young man that helped us explained the menu and ordering process to us. The meats were spectacular, so soft, brisket, pulled pork and hotlinks. The only downside, one of my daughters had the nachos and said they were way to salty, they come with meats and sides all combined together. She said it appeared that they maybe added something over them that made them too salty because we had the samething but in a 2 meat combo and they weren't salty at all. Everything you need, variety of sauces, paper towel rolls are sitting on the tables. And i liked that they have a station set up where you can pack up your left overs yourself. The prices were good for what you get, no complaints on that. And would definitely go back."
"Excellent spaghetti and meatballs. I'm from the northeast and this is the only place I'll go to for Italian food."
"Very casual place with good food! There are a lot of options on the menu. I chose their wagyu plate and the food took a little while but it was delicious! The portion is generous but I wish there was more meat. I enjoyed the sides and the pitas were really good too. I wish they would include a little bit of hummus to go with the pitas but overall a good experience I would come back :)"
"Mood- AppleslawWhen I saw this was on the menu after peaking at some pictures I knew it was a must. My schedule is very busy so I had to calculate the perfect timing to make this a food craving dream come true.Upon entering was greeted and ushered over to a booth. Menus were given along with the option of using the QR code to retrieve a menu. Drink order was taken.Opted for the Classic Combo, Pancake, Turkey Club, Truffle Fries and of course Appleslaw. Now this Appleslaw tasted exactly how I know it is supposed to. It has sweet taste along with the bite of the Granny Smith Apple. It was my little piece of heaven that day. Now those Truffle Fries were done perfectly as well.Interior is several booths along with outdoor seating. It still has that 50's diner vibe. Very old school. However everything has the modern flair. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Music was playing in the background.Would def recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. No it is not the other owners. This is a new venture. However it is truly something worth trying. Staff were wearing masks for the Covid safety protocols.Location is Blue Diamond / Arville - parking can get congested"
"Omg, this was soooooo good and so pretty too. The food was beautifully prepared that it's perfect as a gift. My bf treated me with a few boxes; we both enjoyed it very much. Everything was fresh and delicious. Such a great concept."
"Had two orders of Jerk Chicken plates. Portions were enough for four. Food was bursting with flavor. I know jerk flavor and this was on point. Again...portions were great.Chicken was cooked to perfectionMac snd cheese was wonderful Yams taste home madeOrder was called in and was ready on time and hot...and did I already say delicious...because it was. And I had leftovers. Which by the way was really good the next day and enough for a full meal...and i gets down when I eat. I highly recommend Taste Budz Creole Kitchen...a hidden gem."

Always the best. I'm very picky about my pizza and it's always good. Thin, just the right amount of crispy, and just the right amount of sauce. Thank u

Drove about 30 minutes to try this BBQ spot it did not disappoint! Ordered a 2 meats / 1 side entree and ordered the Cole slaw separate, sauces at the table were delicious and made in house. This was just one order, two meats came with two sausages and wings. The meat was a little fatty for me, but overall tasty. Location the Resturant isn't in the nicest place in town, but the ladies working there were very quick and efficient. Reminded me like we were in a Texas bbq spot. Casual dining with good flavor food! If you're a fan of bbq I'd say def stop by Jessie Rae's!

I discovered this place about 4 years ago and have been coming here weekly if not more every year since. The food and service are TOP NOTCH! We came here for Thanksgiving this year and as expected they knocked it out of the park. This is definitely a hidden gem on the southwest side of town.

Came in and ordered the Greek Salad with chicken kabobs. The salad was excellent. Vegetables were fresh. The chicken was juicy and tender. The service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly and smiling ready to answer any questions you have with the menu items. The restaurant is located in Summerlin in the Trails Village Center. It is a place where you can dine in. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the mood for Greek/Mediterranean food. Will definitely be back.

So I heard that this breakfast joint has improved from what it was in the past, and like-WHOA I guess it's true even though I've never eaten here! We arrived here on a December Saturday morning and it surprisingly wasn't very busy. A party of four, we were immediately greeted at the door, and seated right away. The dining area is fairy small with booths all around. And for the most part, our table was clean, as was our utensils. My receipt says my server was Storm, but I'm not sure if that was his name; A big buff dude with a mellow personality. He made a few mouth-watering recommendations, and did an excellent job serving us too. Regarding breakfast, I tried the Country Fried Steak ($17) which was served with a circular rice-cake sized hashbrown. Not your typical hash, because I believe it was deep fired and good! But I could be wrong. As for the cf-steak, I had it medium-rare which was perfect! And I'd say it was a bit larger than a hockey puck. The only unexpected taste was the saltiness of the white sausage gravy. But mix in that crunchy hash and it all balances out! The rest of my family loved their breakfasts too!Nephew had the Chicken 'n' Waffles ($16), and he scarfed it down good. That Belgian waffle, 4 pieces, and crunchy chicken breast looked all sexy with that maple syrup on top. My nephew is growin' up boy!Cousin had the Cajun Shrimp Tacos ($10) in which she shared and I gotta say, it wasn't too spicy, but still tasty with every bite. Auntie had the Tomato Truffled Burrata Toast ($9), I did not have any, but she said she enjoyed it. Overall, I'd say that I would definitely come back. It's fairly small inside, but wasn't as crowded as some of the other breakfast joints in the area. Prices are fair to above-average, but what you get in return is a happy stomach. Service was on-point as I have no complaints. And I guess with the recent remodel of the place, please be aware that they may update their menu. As I've noticed on their current website menu. Give these locals a try! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The quality is SO tasty! The quantity was just a bit smaller than we anticipated but everything was delicious. This is not your "cheap" stuff yourself sushi, it is a meal we ate slowly and savored(which is generally difficult for my hubby haha). It had been on my sushi yelp list to try forever. If we are looking for a fancy date night in, we will definitely circle back to try more.

We have visited the location at 1917 N DecaturOkay, so let me start off by saying that the food is delicious!!However, it is EXPENSIVE.We've been twice now, and both times the food was wonderful, but the staff and service was "fine". Both times, the employees at the register to take our orders were on their phones or listening to music in headphones, and appeared to be mildly inconvenienced by us being there. The food also takes a good little while to be brought out, so prepare for that, but it does always come out tasting fresh. It was over $130 for 3 of us, but the portions are generous, so we all ended up with leftovers, and their food is just as good later on as well. The atmosphere is interesting. Every time we've gone, it's been completely empty, with the exception of maybe 1 or two people waiting for their food to go. The way the room it set up feels "sterile". Kind of reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria. We will continue to go back because we love the food, but we will likely just order to go instead of eating in as we had.I also think the restaurant would benefit from having a soda machine rather than just cans or bottles.Their meals are already so expensive, and they are the type of meals you sit and eat for a prolonged period of time, so I feel like something as simple as having a soda dispenser to allow customers free refills during their dining experience, especially after waiting 30+ minutes for food in the first place, would be a good thing.

"Every now and then, I NEED to satisfy my sushi craving. Lately, since going to so many AYCE sushi places, I wanted something different- greater quality. So I searched on yelp and found an abundance of omakase sushi restaurants. Although they were all very appealing, something about Simple Sushi really stood out to me. From past experiences, pop-up sushi spots have never left me disappointed. Seeing that this is a small family owned biz, I wanted to give them a try. I placed an order couple days in advance for a variety of nigiris for pick-up on Saturday. I arrived at the pick-up location a little bit early, called them, and a nice gentlemen brought out my order. He was nice enough to tell me that they added a a couple extra pieces as a token of their appreciation. My order came in a small pizza box, with a beautiful presentation once I opened the box! Peep the pic. Everything was delicious- including the uni (my favorite)! And the pieces were huge! You can clearly tell that the chef makes each piece of love and care. All of that food for $35! I pleasantly surprised by their service, food quality, and just everything in between. Thank you, Simple Sushi!"
"We just had pizza stone'd serve 160 guests for my daughters birthday. From the first interaction with the owner to the moment they left the party it was so convenient, they were profesional, took care of EVERYTHING, successfully served everyone and the food was delicious! I had several guests tell me that the pizza was amazing, that the meatballs were the best meatballs they have ever had and that the pastas and mini hotdogs were yummy as well. Overall the experience hiring and executing such a large event was seamless thanks to their open communication and attention to detail. There was not one hiccup throughout the event. Pretty impressive. I chose the on-site oven pizza makers so each guest was able to customize their individual pizza and had it within a few short mins. Because our event was so large there was a time when there was a little bit of wait, maybe 15 mins or so not bad at all, but even more amazing she had two women serving/delivering the pizza to each guest so guests were able to enjoy the party. We also served meatballs, mini hotdogs, baked ziti and chicken Alfredo in chaffers indoors where her staff had to keep food warm and replenish when necessary. Hands down best service, best food and such a pleasure to work with. Do yourself a favor and hire pizza stone'd for your next event!"
"Had the pleasure of grabbing some food from this establishment a few weeks ago with my son, husband and daughter and the food was great! I was lucky enough to snag the last order of fries and we got probably hands down the tastiest lumpia in town! Tacos are top notch as well as the musubi. Food looked and tasted amazing and service was excellent as well. Looking forward to seeing them again soon!"
"Met with this company at the black food festival and block party. Nice staff, my wife ordered 2 chicken tacos from the food truck. It was pretty damn good and the lemonade was nice and sweet too."
"This was my very first time here. Portion on the rice and beans did not match with the tacos lol. maybe a little less meat on tacos and add more rice and beans. The beans had no flavor or seasoning. With a little pinch of salt problem was solved. The asada tacos were delicious very flavorful, carnitas tacos were very tender and juicy and flavorful. Was not over or under seasoned at all. This was definitely made with love. They were so nice and welcoming. Ill definitely be back to try some other stuff on their menu."
"I discovered Smokilicious today at the SweetBarks Valentines Day fundraiser for Austin Pets Alive. And what a discovery it was! I find myself being a frequent customer here as it happens to be in the same LAZ parking lot as APA where I drop off my foster Pup almost every day on my lunch break. The woman who took my order said that this was their 2nd week in business and is their permanent location and that they are open everyday except Monday - did not get the hours but they serve breakfast tacos and lunch for sure. I ordered the Brisket Bar-B-Q Tacos that included 2 corn tortillas with flavor packed moist brisket, pico and guac. Yum!I tried Peter P.'s Frito Pie and while yummy it was too nutrient dense for anything I would choose to eat - got to think about my Girly figure and heart when ordering:) The Stuffed Baked Potato and the Sliced Brisket Sandwich are next on my list of "to try" on their menu. I am pretty sure I will be updating this place to 5 stars soon!"
"I had their summer salad, which $6 is very reasonably priced, but I did not like the asada that came with it. I'd order it again but try either the pollo or pastor options. The rest of the menu appears to also be fairly reasonably prices, but I hope the meats will be a bit better."
"Food was delicious.! I got the alarm burger and substituted fries for home style potatoes, and also got a side of Mac and cheese. I would definitely order the burger again."
"I was able to have food from the Lunch Crew Catering food truck at an event that I attended not too long ago.A lot of the menu items sounded delicious and I only had tried the Philly cheesesteak. They also had a lot of other items and a lot of other kinds of comfort food that sounded amazing. I think the overall consensus was that the food was decent but things were a little bit on the dry end of things. The workers seemed really nice and accommodating. My food was cooked and made to order and it was pretty decent. Not the best nor the worst cheesesteak I've ever had. I would probably get something the next time though."
