"I come to Vegas often. After discovering this place, I have come here twice - once in September and once in October. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality and size (16oz.) of the steak for the price you are paying.Starting at $20, this is a great buy and it is yummy. They do actually know how to cook my steak when asked for medium. Both times I can only eat about half but I have manage to finish almost all the sides. Both times I have upgraded my steak, which cost extra starting at $4. First time, I got the mushrooms and onions. The second time, I got onions and garlic butter. There are quite a few sides to choose from but the side veggies stay and you get to choose another side. Most of the time I will always go with mashed potatoes. They do have baked potato but I will get that another time for sure. :)The place is definitely a local spot. It is a bar with a back dining room. Don't be taken a back by the location and look inside because they do have good food. And plenty of parking. My bf got the lemon pepper wings and they were soo good too. They were big wings! They were crispy and so juicy. You might be wondering about the one star off? Well, it smells like cigarettes inside but the smell dissipates when you get to the back area. This doesn't deter me too much. As Arnold would say, I will be back! LOL :)"
"Great off the Strip hotel [Las Vegas NV]We had a pleasant stay at Boulder Station. It isn't the nicest hotel like ones on the Strip but it wasn't too bad for the price. The casino is away from the busy Strip. The parking lot is huge! There is also a parking garage and most importantly, parking is free! Registration was fast and easy. We like that the parking lot was close to the back entrance doors and that the elevators to the rooms were just a few steps away from it, which means we didn't have to roam all over the casino to get to the elevators. There is security by the elevators 24/7 and guests need to swipe their hotel key to get to your floor. We had a King size bed and it was comfortable. The small fridge was useful. Everything was in working order and the room was clean. Could've had an AC to make the room a little cooler but it wouldn't allow us to drop the temp a little to cool the room. That's okay, though. We stayed here for 3 nights and most of the time we were out. We came home late one evening coming from the Grand Canyon and we dined at their 24-hr restaurant, Game On. We had breakfast for dinner ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Review #3525"
"The regular pool had been closed for maintenance and we were bummed out. Getting into the water was one of the big things we wanted to do on the trip. That all changed when we were on our way back to the room. After telling a couple the pool was closed. They kindly let us know theres another pol for adults 21 and older on the 24th floor. With room key and ID we were let in this adult only wonderland. Music was playing, people we conversing or dancing. We went loose enough to dance freely just yet. So of course we headed straight to the bar. The staff is funny, helpful, and just plan adorable. The bartender told us about their happy hour deal. Drinks were buy one get one free. I had one of the best strawberry daiquiri's I have ever had. Ok it was the only one I've ever had, so of course it was the best. I do recommend it highly! It's sweet and does a great job hiding the alcohol. After that we took a dip in the pool while watching the game. It's a wonderful experience."
"My son was turning 6 (insert crying emoji here) and was wanting a bowling party for his birthday. We've been to a few bowling alleys in town and decided to have his party here for a few reasons. 1. Their party package had the best deal compared to other bowling alleys. Each lane is $60 for up to 5 bowlers with shoes included. And of course food is separate. There is a $15 fee for balloons and table set up. In total, we got 3 lanes, 3 pizzas, tray of sliders (20), tray of fries, 3 pitchers of drinks for a grand total of $320. 2. The food was actually pretty decent!!!! The food is made right next door at their restaurant. Everything was hot and fresh. Everyone in my party was saying they were surprised by how good the food was (as was I). The pizzas were huge and had plenty of cheese and toppings. The sliders had good flavor to them and the buns were soft. And the fries were brought out hot and crispy. We still had plenty of leftovers despite the amount of people that came. 3. Planning the party was pretty simple. They require a week's notice with a $25 deposit/lane in person. You also order your food at time of booking also. The employees were friendly and everything was set up by the time we got there. Food was brought out about 30 mins. into our party time. And we didn't have to worry about clean up. They also have cosmic blowing in the afternoons on the weekends. I opted out of this because I didn't want to strain my eyes lol. 4. Another reason I chose this place is because of the smaller setting. It's not as big as casino bowling lanes so I didn't have to worry about anyone getting lost. It's also not as loud either. My only negative was that on the day of our party, there was only one employee working the front. He was busy getting shoes for multiple parties, causing a long wait and cutting into out bowling time. An extra person definitely would have been helpful. All in all, we had an awesome experience and would definitely recommend this place for a party. My son enjoyed his party and that was my main priority."
"A cool locals casino with no table games. They do have a sports book though.Smaller than most casinos in the area yet ample if you love slots.I love table games though so it wasn't my cup of tea."
"Fantastic neighborhood bar with clean interior, lots of TVs, and really long bar. Seem to gave a good group of regulars coming here. Our server (also a bartender) Tina was friendly helpful and flirtatious. She kept the drinks coming. Burger was cooked well and it was pretty darn good. All in all, showed up for some drinks and talk with friends and left pretty happy!"

The 16 oz ribeye steak itself was a 5/5 for me. It was charred just right, cooked medium rare, and seasoned well. The steak at times was a bit chewy, but, for $20, I was ok with that. Their mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were delicious too - and I normally don't even like asparagus! With that being said, however, the distance to get here (it's at least a 10 minute drive from the Strip, depending on which hotel you're coming from), the area it's in (pretty sketchy, as you have to ring a doorbell to be buzzed in to open the door), and the suffocating cigarette smoke permeating the walls inside did downgrade this spot's rating by one star. Customer service by Kat was great - despite her being understaffed and working the whole restaurant for the night, she was still trying to be helpful. Thank you, Kat. Overall, if they fixed the ventilation here and had a non-smoking dining area, I would definitely come back again for their stellar $20 steak deal.

Here is another hotel in this area of Vegas away from the better places to stay at. It may be one of the best options for a family. Boulder Station is a pretty big hotel and casino. Lots of entertainment besides gambling. There's a movie theater, tons of restaurants, and lots of other fun stuff. A pretty good place considering the location is kind of crappy. It's one of the hotels on Boulder Highway. This for sure is one of the nicer ones of these. Clean and feels like it's pretty safe inside. Outside is a different story though. It's in an area known for meth heads. The inside is good so stay in there. Lots of things for the whole family. There's a pretty big movie theater. A crap ton of places to eat. There's fast food and fancier places. Certainly it's one of the better hotels on Boulder Highway. It's close to Arizona Charlie's and a few others. The outside area on the street can be sketchy so be careful if you go out walking.

Barley's is a neighborhood casino and has that vibe as well. It's a nice break from the larger Station Casinos, and they have a brewpub too. It's not a true casino though, as there are no table games. There's a sports book and a poker bar, with seating in both areas. Most of the popular slots are here, although there seems to be a lack of wheel of fortune slots. There are a lot of video poker slots on the floor. Barley's is part of Wildfire Casinos, under the Station Casinos umbrella. So there are Boarding Pass kiosks with promotions tied to the Wildfire brand. A recent addition was a High Limit Room (slots only) where the Player's Club area used to be. I was quite surprised to see this, and decided to go in and press my luck. I was happy to find a fridge with water, soda and the like, as well as a small selection of boxed candy. There are more video poker machines than slots, and I think the lowest denomination on the 2 reel slots I perused was $5. The chairs are super comfy too, and a cocktail server came in shortly after I arrived. When I took pics of the room later, I saw the sign that has the President and Chairman cards on it. That is puzzling to me, as there was no monitoring (at least outright) of who was playing in there. As a lowly Platinum player, I was worried about being booted! The sign seems to want to ward off anyone who isn't President or Chairman. I will be more likely to return because of the high limit room, as long as me and my Platinum card are still welcome!

Red Barrel is exactly what the name implies...a Neighborhood Tavern! It's relatively small inside, but nicely done with the decor. As you move around the corner, it opens up a bit to a smaller restaurant side with t.v.'s for those that don't like sitting at the gaming bars.Though the best times for drink specials are game days, their happy hour food menu is very strong! The fish tacos are outstanding! The fish filet is large, the dressing and cabbage is fresh, and with two of these large tacos it's a very fair price! Their wings are absolutely perfect, especially if asked to fry them crispy! My assumption is you can't go wrong with any of their bar bites, as well as the burgers that looked awesome at the nearby tables! With the friendly bar servers, this is a great unassuming place to spend happy hours!

Slid in this joint after gambling and getting shitfaced at Sunset Station. Grabbed a burger and it was surprisingly good.

"A few miles north of downtown there's a building shaped like a large white castle, only not the kind that sells sliders. It's a local casino called Poker Palace and though not palatial, it is comfortable with a friendly staff, blackjack and poker table games, a few hundred slot machines, Wm. Hill sports book, and a small town diner type of place called Maddy's Cafe with inexpensive steak dinners. The gamblers at Poker Palace are not considered whales and you won't even see $100 black chips at the tables - $25 is the highest denomination. But you will find very personable dealers and pit bosses who welcome all, including the minnows and guppies. Props to Kimmy, Charlie, Lisa, and Angela for their cheerful presence at the table games and I doubt there's an older, rather more experienced, card dealer than Charlie who's beyond 85 and barreling toward 90. The sharp-witted oldster, who claims to have moved out West on a Conestoga wagon, enjoys trading barbs with the gamblers and what a change of pace that is from the wooden-faced, expressionless, can't-wait-till-my-shift-is-over type of card dealer at many casinos. The folks at Poker Palace actually talk to you and have personalities!Minimums are extremely low, some of the lowest in town. It's like stepping into a time warp with the $3 blackjack table (even on nights or weekends) and $8 steak dinners. They're not dry-aged Wagyu, but surprisingly tasty still. The table game area reminds you of a scene from Cheers with the wood flooring and adjacent wooden bar with stools. It's a relatively quiet casino with subdued background music and minor slot machine noise, interrupted by the occasional curse or victory screech. And unlike other casinos, Poker Palace has a sizeable gambling area for non-smokers, with a dedicated entrance from the parking lot even. Great idea, now if they would only ban cigs at the table games...This place opened nearly a half century ago in the 70's and they were smart to put the security guard shack right at the main building entrances overlooking the lot. Visitors can feel safe walking to and from their vehicles, knowing the well-lit parking lot is constantly under vigilance. I always enjoy the gambling atmosphere here and recommend giving it a try."You want to go where everyone knows your name," and Poker Palace is that kind of friendly neighborhood spot."
"Wildfire Sunset is a good little local casino that's nice to go in if you're in the area and need to burn some time. It is located right next to Sunset Station which is a much larger casino. Pretty much Wildfire Sunset is a place you can watch sports on TV's, gamble, and grab a bite to eat at their cafe style restaurant. The time I went in it was a little too smokey, didn't seem like it had great ventilation. The food at the cafe was OK, and the customer service was pretty good! Park lot is pretty small and can be a little tight if they're busy with a lot of cars parked. Overall, I thought it was ok."
"I want to win money! When I want to win money, my preference is to gamble in an upbeat environment. Unfortunately this was not the case with the Station Casino-owned The Greens. Just like the nearly ghost shopping center it sits in, it seems to have had far better days. On the recent afternoon that I played Caveman Keno here, the restaurant that takes up the right side of the establishment was closed. There were zero menus and zero "Please Seat Yourself" signs. This leads me to the assumption that it operates under erratic hours or is permanently closed. In the left side of the establishment I seated myself at a Caveman Keno machine. There was zero interaction with the skeleton crew of this nearly ghost casino. This is not the type of environment where I wanted to extend my time. After using up my $5 budget playing Caveman Keno, I passed over patronizing the bar towards the back of the casino where the only staff members seemed to be and left with little intention of returning in the near future."
"An off-shoot of and part of Station Casinos, you get Station perks and promos here. On a much smaller scale. This location has a bar, sports book, restaurant and casino style floor with a fair variety of games. There is also a cocktail server. The bar has quite a few machines, and sits elevated from the casino floor. The slots on the floor include mostly penny style slots, with a smattering of video poker. There's a huge patio adjacent to the dining room which appeared unused. I was here mostly for the weekly promotional gift, which is earned through points. They had a table by the cage to distribute the gifts, and after earning my points, it was easy breezy to claim the gifts. Lucky me, I had money left too! When it was time to cash out, the one machine I saw was flashing red, so no go. They have a cage, which I guess is periodically staffed. No one was there, and an employee working the promotions table told me to cash out with the bartender. The bartender pointed out the 2 cashout machines, and I told her the one I saw was flashing red. I looked at the other one- also flashing red. So she cashed my ticket. There's plenty of parking, which is definitely a plus. I noticed a sign at the promotions table for a free players dinner (Gold level and above). I was told that anyone could attend, per availability, by earning 50 points the day of. That is a nice perk for players. If you want to escape the hassles of big box Station casinos, Wildfire may be for you."
"Being a stations casino this Wildfire on Boulder is a pretty good place. It's not too big but not too small neither, it's just the right size to have fun gaming or watching sport games on the big screen TV's they have located near the bar. If you're hungry for some grub, they have a really good restaurant which serves great food that could satisfy your hunger.Whenever I'm in the area, I sometimes drop in to see what kind of deals that are going on! If you get the players card you can really rack up on deals, mostly gaming, but worth it since it costs nothing (free) and it can be used in other stations casino locations. All-in-all, a good spot to drop in and say hi to some of the locals around town."
"Had a ME day today with some breakfast and sports betting. Great time and was taking care of by Zach and TJ. Professional and efficient service by both.Ordered the BYO omelette and tots and wheat toast. Super delicious. Coffee was good also. Played the leprechaun Keno... paid out pretty good but dumped it all back in.Won on Dodgers. Great TV's to watch sports and customer service is great and friendly. Even the security guard came by to say hi... good times."
"It's part of the Station Rewards program, so there's that. It's a very small place with a small selection of slots. If they have a slot machine you like, then it's probably the only one. Think of it as a pinball bar but instead of pinball, they have slot machines strewn about. With all that being said, it was a big winner! Wow, totally worth the stop just to keep my station account active. Ended up walking away with buckets of quarters. Ok, it's not that old, but it would have been a heck of a lot of quarters. It's a bit smokey and nobody ever engaged with us or said Hi, so it was get in, take the money, and get out!"
"Bar tender service here was not as great as other locations here however the set up was pretty cool. Found that it was a little smokier over here too so it seemed like the ventilation wasn't as good."
