"La Luna is a very atypical Cafe with a weak theme and okay desserts. My partner and I were in the mood for something sweet so he wanted to try this establishment that was a 15-minute drive away. He had tried one of their desserts before and he remembered it as being pretty decent. I agreed and we left Summerlin and I was excited to try La Luna.It's one of the few coffee houses that's open late so it was quite busy on a Saturday night. Unfortunately the furniture is quite uncomfortable. The couches have been worn down and they are flat and really low. The furniture is cramped in there so it as difficult to get comfortable and it feels very crowded.It has a moon theme on one wall which embraces the whole La Luna concept but the rest of it is generic coffee House fluff. Street signs? Random gears? Okay. I'm not sure what that has to do with the moon but whatever.This unfortunately suffers from the typical Asia coffee House curse of having some really cute and pretty desserts that have zero flavor. The mango and coconut dessert looked absolutely luscious but that is a legit straw in the middle of it. They easily could have used a bit of pastry or something that would have been a nice touch instead of a piece of plastic hanging out in the middle of the mango. Speaking of the mango, there's not much mango flavoring nor is there a lot of it in the shell, I would say it's about a quarter of the actual contents. The cream that they used in it was weak and did not have a strong flavor. Absolutely do not recommend. The flavoring on the chocolate and cappuccino cakes was okay with nothing remarkable about them. But they both suffered from being dry towards the center because they are randomly sliced and hung out with no cellophane + nothing to keep in the moisture. As you get from the tip to the back of the cake slice it has more moisture and the flavor improves but it's just a shame.I had the passion fruit slush and it was weak. Nothing but sugar and honestly the passion fruit popping boba was the best part of it.I tried to chat to get to know the cashier a little bit to get a feel for the cafe and I even told her it was our first time there but she was so busy that she gave zero customer service.They actually gave us the wrong cake which we took a bite out of and realized it was chocolate instead of cappuccino. The one good thing is that she apologized and gave us the cappuccino and told us to enjoy both cakes. So I appreciate that. Overall it's not great but it's nothing I would ever drive from Summerlin to go to. There are much better options in Chinatown and better drinks close by."

"Simple hip coffee shop. Service was awesome. We went in the early afternoon and they are already out of their popular mochi donuts. It was fairly packed with diverse crowd with some accompanied by their laptops and mostly their smartphones. The following day we went again a bit earlier this time (after lunch) and we were able to order their donuts for take out. It was delicious! Sorry too good I forgot to take a pic Coffee was good and hits the spot!!!"

We got the following drinks: T 9 Taro MT : a sweet taro milk tea with delicious brown sugar boba! Not sure if they make their own boba but when we got our drink the boba was a bit warms so I'm thinking that's why They tasted really good though with the Taro! Tropical Red Bull GT - a quick pick me up after a long day of walking! The Red Bull added a kick to it and the tropical had a citrus flavor with mango jelly. M18 Lychee Coconut Twist - this was our favorite the taste of the lychee with the coconut cream made for a sweet creamy drink. F16 Lychee Dragon GT/BT - this was similar to the coconut twist. It was fruity and tasty exactly what you'd expect from a lychee boba drink! The service was quick and the staff was friendly ! They have a huge selection of boba options so plenty to choose from!! Make sure to drop by while you're in Chinatown for some amazing boba!"

"There's a reason this place has such high reviews. I needed a treat after a series of long difficult days. I usually get iced passionfruit black tea from another place but this place is a little closer to my office. I was a little frazzled when I walked in. Just gave blood for labs but the customer service was impeccable. Nothing outrageous just the exact right amount of nice, friendly and informative. I ordered a passionfruit & pineapple green tea because one of my doctos said I should be drinking green instead of black for all the antioxidants. But I was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure it would be as good as my preferred black tea. First it's delicious. I'm drinking it right now. It's a definitely sweeter but it's so good. But second and most importantly the staff (both of them) seemed to genuinely care that I enjoyed it. I was sure it would be fine but they insisted that I try it before I left. It's ways the smallest thing that can really turn your entire day around. Also, they have cheesecake. I'm saving it for later although I anticipate it being delicious!"

Their mochi is is still SUPER duper soft (must be in-house made!). Mangos are picked well. Red bean is legit!! That also must be made in-house too. They have their menu above the counter and there are 2 screens that you can order from. Their systems divide the menu into categories which is helpful for first timers. Something I really love is when you're customizing your drink it says what they recommend for the drink. For example, if they recommend regular boba for the drink or another topping.I am in love with their Oreo Brulee Milk Tea. I have a crazy sweet tooth and this always hits the spot. They have milk alternatives and you can control the ice and sweetness levels. Once you order, the wait time isn't bad by any means. I've been there when there was one other person and waited less than 5 minutes. I've been in there with a good chunk of people and was barely there for 20 minutes.This has easily turned into one of my go to boba stops."

Tonight I went wanting to try the crepes and the girl up front first said that they don't sell them yet. I said that's funny it's on your menu and the other girl offered it to me the other night. Upon entering you can order at the counter self help kiosks. The menu itself is huge with lots of options that can slightly overwhelm you if you're not familiar in these types of drinks.We ordered a tea, a freeze and a kids drink. All three came out quickly and were very generous servings. The kids drink included a sticker for the youngster and the staff was super friendly while handing drinks off. The drinks were great and chosen sweetness levels truly match the requested levels. Most places I've been don't really seem to match up well. The mango Tajin freeze was amazing and I will definitely revisit!"

The poke is fresh and definitely some big portions to keep you more than satisfied. There are many options for free toppings and different poke options ranging from salmon to tako (octopus). The shop itself is cool, very laid back, perfect for hanging out or even studying. Service is great and I even got a drink on the house!! I will definitely be back!"
