"Even though this place is quite far from me, there's something I always crave and must come back here to. The empanadas!!!! One of my work mates from Guam from years ago brought this empanada at work one time, and since then, I have been hooked and always get the craving for the crunchiness and the deliciousness of these, and when I do, I could not help but drive myself to Henderson to get em!! It's a must! Of course when I go, I end up getting other stuff, I got the fried shrimp Nene plate and the banana donuts, LOVE them!!!!! I wish they would have a location closer to the southwest side of LV!! Service was great!! A highly recommended place and a must have!"
"There were 8 of us who were craving for Korean bbq but most of my guests didn't know how to cook it. I have been here before and so I said to my guests that I know just a place!!That night, Phoebe and Sharla were our server who were more than helpful (I think that's their names). The meats were delicious and I couldn't thank them enough for suggesting the wagyu beef- wow what a treat!! My guests and I were very happy about the beautiful restaurant ambiance also and so very clean- perfect! We will definitely be back for another experience!Thank you 8oz KS"

"Best of the best when it comes to Chinese style noodle soups and roasted Hong Kong style duck, pork, cha xiu and wontons. The highlight of my trip after several disappointing visits earlier in the week. Bill, a very outgoing server, made our visit even more valuable by offering options in the city only known to local residents. Thank you Bill for your help and superior service! The noodle soups are exactly how I remember it, the broth has a very deep "duck" flavor, the egg noodles are just the right softness, the side dish of crispy skin pork hits the balance of fatty and meaty. Cha xiu surprsingly is hot from the inside out with the sweet marinade embedded from outside to all the way inside as the juice pops in your mouth. The wontons were good sized with plenty of pork and shrimp! The beef tripe is so so soft tender too!! Wooo!If going to LV again, this is one of my "go-to" spots that is guaranteed to please. 5 stars."
"I ordered 1 thing--Crispy Fried Onions. They were delicious.Lucky for you who are reading this, My roommate ordered stuff or I probably wouldn't leave a review for onions ;)The girl behind the counter was friendly but she did make a mistake in that my roommate ordered a large salad and got a small salad, she didn't charge wrong though but he wanted a large salad... but she would have to charge the card again and he didn't want to do that so he let it go. (well to her, I had to hear about it for 20 mins in the car ride)He ordered a plate (1 item, 2 sides) and got an extra side--He said it was good, I won't go into details because I didn't try it and He didn't give an update other to say it was good. It's a clean place that smells like wood burning. If you are a Vegetarian or Vegan, The smell is something you can handle!and they have plenty of Vegan options on the menu and things that can be made Vegan.:)"
"All the food was good we had no bad selections. The server even came by multiple times and swapped out the griddle plate so that it wasn't making so much smoke. We definitely got our fill and have nothing bad to say about this place Would definitely return and recommend"
"A regular for our family to order:D's Delicious Sampler (Mac n cheese, potato salad)Burnt Ends (I insist on this but it may be too sweet or fatty for some)Collard greensChipotle coleslawSo good. We're always ooo and awwwing during and after our meal. Food coma central for sure. This is a great place to take your family for a meal or to take to go. Regular staple in my household. We'll be ordering again soon."
"Went there yesterday looking for something new. It was about 4pm and the place was rather empty, but it was a welcoming atmosphere. Amongst our group we ordered the gumbo with shrimp, the fish dinner, the ribs and wings combo plate, the pulled pork sandwich meal and a kids waffle plate. When I tell you we were pleasantly surprised! My goodness!! The flavor in that gumbo was ! The fish was fried to perfection! The greens, wings, ribs, and waffle were also phenomenal! Surprisingly, the missed opportunities were in the pulled pork, yams, red beans & rice, and mac & cheese. They weren't horrible, but it was basic. Some flavor adjustments can easily put those items in pros column. But overall, it was great and we look forward to returning soon to try their breakfast options. In particular the shrimp and grits. Stay tuned!"
"I've stopped by here for lunch a few times while I was in the area. The plaza may not look like much and parking can be difficult to find. If you don't speak the language, I feel like they don't really care to service you that much. In terms of food, the flavors are good. Never really have issues here besides communication."
"Moo woo was delightful. Cooking a bunch of meats on my table is my FAVORITE!The restaurant is clean and spacious. And their staff is super friendly and helpful. We hadn't been in in several years so our server was happy to help us. Plenty of food, fast friendly service, we won't go so long between visits next time."
"Food is amazing!!!!! First time great experience service was great she had all clean big smile she recommended a dish let me tell you!!!!!! She has set the hook im hooked!!!!Las vegas do not sleep on this place !!!!!Keep up the great work !!! Ill be back every chance....."
"Finally made it here and I was excited to try some BBQ. This place is Small but mighty, I would suggest looking at the menu before arriving . Service was quick and friendly with some outdoor seating . Now the star of the show is the food!! We got the 3 meat and 2 sides option. Pastrami, sausage and TriTip with fries and corn salad. Also came with cheddar biscuits and pickles. By far the best bbq I have had in a long time ."
"Highly recommended! Food was made fresh and served hot off the stove. This is definitely REAL soul food. Everything was absolutely delicious This is definitely Texas style southern cooking. Red beans and rice have the perfect amount of spice. The chicken was fried to perfection! Great service, the owner is friendly and personable. Plenty of seating. We will definitely be back."

First time trying this place since I was in the area. Food was good and portions were huge. I was able to share the mixed combo plate between 3 of us. The chicken kelaguen was my fave. And I love me some mochi donuts. It wasn't really busy when we came on a weekend. Food took probably about 15-20 minutes to make. I'd come back if I was in the area again.

Came here for the first time on a dinner date with the hubby, and we had a wonderful time. We love Korean bbq, and we wanted to try a non-ayce place. 8oz was recommended by some friends, and it did not disappoint. If you're a party of 2+, you can order from the combo set meals. You can also order from the a la carte menu too of course no matter the party size. We ordered a small combo A, which included beef brisket, seasoned boneless short rib, soy garlic short rib, and grilled pork bulgolgi. The combo came with veggie skewer, kimchi pancake, egg stew, rice, your choice of jjigae (we chose kimchi), and banchan of course. This combo cost only $90 for the two of us, which is actually a steal compared to other places like Hobak. The meat quality was really good. We really enjoyed all the meats. Even the brisket, a commonly lower quality cut of meat, was delicious. My favorite was the boneless short rib, while my husband's was the soy garlic short rib. None of the meats had that old meaty taste that I hate. The assortment of banchan were really good. We really enjoyed the radish sheets and kimchi. We also liked the vegetable skewer. I kind of wish there was more. It included a few pieces of onion, bell pepper, 1 little tomato, 2 pieces of zucchini, a mushroom. I would've loved more zucchini, which was so juicy and refreshing next to the grilled meats. The egg stew and kimchi jjigae were delicious as well. The service was attentive, friendly, overall very good. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were just cleaned and clearly well maintained. Quality of food delicious. We would come back if we weren't in the mood for AYCE. Good quality, good service, good price, overall great experience.

Best HK style barbecue I've had outside of Hong Kong. Char siu, siu yuk, roast duck, soy sauce chicken. Everything is a 10/10. Interior design gives you the feel of eating from the street vendors in Hong Kong. Service is always fast and tables are turned quick, but feel free to relax and enjoy your tea!

Very social staff. It was not very full when I stopped by but it was clean and I appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The catfish was cooked perfectly and I'm a fan of it the mustard sauce and bread. The beans and rice along with the grits were mediocre but still a good place to try. Especially the service.

I really enjoyed my food and the service here. My review is only in regard to take out food, I haven't had the privilege of enjoying a sit down experience, yet. When I walked in it was actually pretty empty, but that was short lived. By the time I finished placing my order, there were several parties waiting to be seated. But the time I received my food, there was a 15 minute wait to be seatedI was greeted by a very nice gentleman who was pulling double duty. He was charging a table and taking my take out order, he even took the time to answer a few questions I had in regard to the menu. I ordered the Bulgogi bowl and an order of shrimp tempura. The bowl had the Bulgogi beef, rice, noodles, and 3 gyoza!! It was much more than I expected to receive, even after reading the menu description. It took about 12 minutes to receive my order. I was offered water while I waited. My food was super good, actually so good that me and my coworker have both been back! There is free parking near the restaurant. This place is located in a strip mall, near Target and Game Stop. It was really clean and it has nice lightening. They have some booths and long tables. This place is suitable for a date with your Boo or a fun night with family and friends.

Young lady at the counter greeted us and patiently let us take our time as first time customers. Lucky me, the rib platter was very excellent and the side of BBQ homemade beans were absolutely delicious. I will definitely make this my BBQ special place where I take great friends to. Finger licking good stuff.

What a comfortable, tasty and friendly restaurant! Airy dining area. There is a separated bar area. The menu is expansive. Ranging from breakfast, Filipino, southern BBQ and more. Sides are quite large servings. I will go back because I still need to try their chili, brisket and desserts. The collard greens were the best I ever had. A little spicy warm and heart warming. The gumbo was filled with chicken and the rice was perfect. Lots of parking. Ube shake looked yummy, too.

This is one of the best dim sum places I've been to. They're always busy but I think that just shows the quality! We got seated immediately (somehow!) on a Monday at 12:15 for lunch and were greeted by all the carts we could need.We always order a bit of everything and when they don't have something you want on the cart, they will put an order in with the kitchen to special make!Their tea is great, their food is great, they even have soup dumplings (I haven't seen them have it before). Yum!

"Mmmmm Yum Yes!I only eat pork here because their pork belly is that good, I always get the combo plate.Shanghai Lumpia yes please! This was a hidden gem for years until they blew up because once you eat here you will be craving their food. They have a simple and straight forward menu, and the kids can eat here and be happy! I enjoy places that my whole family can enjoy food from. They also have a very flavorful and thin noodle pancit which is the only way as they do keep it traditional style!"
"First time at a Korean BBQ and it did not disappoint! The service was great and the portions were too. The food was really appealing and they explained how to do everything right, it was all in all a great time! I've heard people saying how complicated the process is but it's definitely not, I think it's worth trying once, and you will have a great time. I don't always enjoy cooking but with friends and conversation it's way different. The mood is calm and relaxed."
"Juiciest chicken I ever had so good and flavorful didn't even need sauce. I will drive from LA back here to taste that succulent meat. Yum... didn't wait long. There was a place to sit down and eat surprised this place wasn't busier."
"Poor servers, they were so busy but holding it down..We came with a party of 11and we sat on 2 separate tables but next to each other. It's an AYCE Korean BBQ. Order your meats and enjoy cooking. The banchan was ok. They gave about 6 dishes. Cucumber Kimchee was my favorite. Off the menu, we orderd Kalbi, Shrimp, Tofu, Jap Chae, Pork Belly, Brisket, Corn Cheese etc. It also came with Dessert. Overall, I'd return again if I'm in the area."
"Tucked away in a plaza on Decatur, this place's outer image and what they offer are polar opposites; I'm glad we found this place and gave it a try. Honestly, I was expecting a spacious place with a grand entrance and bright lights when I saw the food photos on Yelp and Google, but instead they had a very humble sign out front and a quaint little space inside. When we checked for reservations, there were none available so we bravely decided to do a walk-in and hope for the best! HAHHA Luckily, there was no wait and we got seated right away. The wait staff were very friendly and very attentive. We were waiting on a friend so we got started with a couple drinks. Mint beer* it's weirdly addicting but very sweet-- I don't see myself ordering more than two glasses MAX; nonetheless delicious! We ordered the beef combo for 3 and decided to order some a la carte items to share. The quality of the meat was excellent! It's been some time since we've had outstanding quality meat ... or it's been a challenge to find a place with exceptional quality since many places are more quantity than quality near us (AYCE). At first glance, I was not impressed with the quantity or so I thought but to my surprise I was very full by the end of the meal and everyone at the table agreed that it was enough food. The garlic friend rice was a great addition to the meal and I highly recommend to have some balance of carbs incorporated into the high protein meal. We also tried the cold noodles and I give a thumbs up, some of you may know, I am a cold noodle devotee and can be very critical of the dish, and they were solid! It was great palate cleanser after the barbeque. Undeniably, I'll be back."
"Ate here for the first time a few days ago and it is worth the hype. On arrival they have a nice size parking for the size of the restaurant, most ppl were pickkng up. The place isn't huge, it's the size of most authentic bbq joints. It is really well decorated, clean and comfortable. The young man that helped us explained the menu and ordering process to us. The meats were spectacular, so soft, brisket, pulled pork and hotlinks. The only downside, one of my daughters had the nachos and said they were way to salty, they come with meats and sides all combined together. She said it appeared that they maybe added something over them that made them too salty because we had the samething but in a 2 meat combo and they weren't salty at all. Everything you need, variety of sauces, paper towel rolls are sitting on the tables. And i liked that they have a station set up where you can pack up your left overs yourself. The prices were good for what you get, no complaints on that. And would definitely go back."
"HUUGE portions.I got the regular chicken and fried chicken. It came out to $36. The chicken is so tender. The veggies are fresh! You pick your protein and certain proteins are more than the other.I could only finish half of the food. So worth the money! This place is so underrated. The customer service was awesome."
"Came here due the really high reviews but definitely felt that it didn't live up to the hype. And it made sense after you sit down as there are incentives for a five star Yelp review. The better dishes we had were the salted egg tofu, pan fried seabass, roast duck, and eggplant in claypot. They were good but not necessarily outstanding. The roast pork looked good but it was cold and the bbq pork as well. The beef chow fun was mediocre. The black pepper short rib was ok... The service was very slow. Not sure if I would come back. Maybe I will try the dim sum next time."
"It's always a good sign when you visit a restaurant for the first time and decide to go back the very next day. Everything that we ate was flavorful and cooked to perfection. That includes the lemon pepper fried catfish and the three "jumbo shrimp combo" orders, which comes with fries and a drink. You can choose your favorite of fries. There are about six different flavors to choose from. Or you can get the house/standard version of fries, which are lightly salted with a hint of sweetness, which I've never had in a french fry, but they were surprisingly good. I'm super excited and really looking forward to trying their various flavors of wings and tenders. As well as their new menu items which are three different versions of the Po'boy. you have the choice of the catfish, the chicken or shrimp po'boy. All of which I'm sure tastes great. The food is made to order so the wait time is relatively short. The customer service is good and I can't wait for my next visit."
"I brought my family here because I wanted to try the vegan kbbq, and it did not disappoint. My favorites were the spicy beef and beef bulgogi, the chicken ones were also good but the beef had a better texture and I think works better with the grill because it's thinner. Tofu bulgogi was also excellent. Also, you have to try the VEGAN CORN CHEESE, this was so ridiculously creamy and delicious I could've just come and ordered bowls of this for my entire meal. The service was wonderful, and the staff was great about regularly switching out our grill so we could alternate vegan and real meats. The rest of my family enjoyed the meats as well, and the little one loved the ice cream dessert. Only thing that would've made my experience better is if they had a vegan dessert option as well!"
"Everything here is seriously so good!!! From the bbq to the finadene everything is masterfully made with so much love. Family owned spot with so much love to give you feel like you're part of the family. My favorites are the chicken bbq, chicken kelaguen of course and the spinach with coconut milk. SO GOOD!! And the red rice is cooked perfectly too!! Give this place a try - you will be VERY happy, promise!!"
"Me and my coworkers, went here for lunch. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and quick with food. One of my colleagues ordered some fries and some time went by where we noticed he didn't get them. The manager heard us talking about it and quickly asked the staff where his food was. They jumped on it and got them to him pretty quick. And with that, they gave it to him free because of their mistake. That was super kind!! That is awesome customer service! My colleagues loved all the food, and thank you for having vegetarian options!!"
"Very tasty, maybe a tad expensive but ready when they promised for pick-up even during busy time."
"Great flavors, quality is on point and order accuracy has been awesome with good service We have enjoyed a few times now, and love supporting them vs the chain Hawaiian spot near our homeDefinitely a place we enjoy and will continue to visit"
"If you love good BBQ, you need to check out Hattie Marie's. Tucked away at the far south end of the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets, this Black-owned spot serves up some seriously delicious food. The pulled pork? Chef's kiss. Tender, flavorful, and not loaded with fat. Their BBQ sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory - no need to drown your meat in it, just enough to enhance the flavor. The mac and cheese is super yummy, and the yams? BOMB. Cornbread is solid, though not my favorite of the sides. Still good though! One downside: upgrading to brisket is pricey, and honestly, not worth it. Also, the sweet tea has a lemony twist, which I'm personally not a fan of (I'm a sweet tea purist). And I really want to try the peach cobbler, but they never seem to have it!Service is always friendly, and the place is spotless. It's a great lunch spot - my coworkers and I come here pretty often. There's also an upstairs area I'd love to check out - maybe for private events? Oh, and they have a bar with gaming if that's your vibe.Overall, prices are reasonable for BBQ, the food is fire, and more people need to discover this place so it sticks around. If you haven't been yet, go ASAP!"
"We came here on a triple date with some friends that have been here before. I made a reservation for 6 for 6pm a few days in advance through Google with no problem. It was our first time here. We all got the "All Day AYCE" option since nothing on the premium option seemed like we needed to have it. We got the ribeye, brisket, thick pork belly, garlic shrimp, bulgogi, short ribs, and a ton of the appetizers.Everything was great but I particularly liked the ribeye, short ribs, and brisket a lot. The fried mandu and tteokbokki were also a hit among us. The corn cheese did not have much cheese on it. I really liked the cabbage kimchi, my friend's favorite was the bean sprout one, and her husband likes the cucumber one.The service was basic. It was phenomenal and we weren't checked on frequently, but we also weren't neglected. My husband and I paid around $85 before tip for two "All Day ayce" and one oolong tea."
"Had a great time here for dinner! A few of my friends recommended this place before and I finally had a chance to visit. I can't compare it directly to other AYCE spots because each restaurant in Las Vegas brings its own unique flair, making every place stand out in its own way. This place in particular stood out to me because it was so CLEAN! If feeling "crisp" was a thing, I'd say it was just that. Servers were very attentive and friendly. My husband usually cooks the meat anywhere we go so I'm unsure if they cook the meat for you or not. I enjoyed all the side dishes that came out; simple side dishes that compliment the meat is better than having unnecessary variety that takes away from the meat, in my opinion. They did a great job with keeping it simple but making sure they were all harmonious. They have cold noodles and they were delicious, I believe it's the one dish you must have with Koran bbq, I'm a huge advocate of cold noodles, don't skip it haha Most memorable thing is that they offer the Korean Cinnamon drink here as dessert! SOO JUNG GWA and I'm obsessed. My mom makes a huge batch of it sometimes for me and it just ... it's just something that has a dear place in my heart. I'm definitely coming back."
"Small little spot that you order at the counter. Nothing fancy to write home about. The service was friendly enough. There's a lot of different options from Hawaiian food, burgers, poke, noodles, and bowl. Something for everyone. We opted for the chicken katsu/spicy garlic chicken mix plate and the chicken katsu/9th island chicken. Both come with 2 big scoops of white rice and a scoop of Mac salad. The food was delicious. The spicy garlic chicken definitely has a kick and will have your breath garlicky so grab a mint! The Mac salad was delicious as well. I'd definitely come back and try some of their other options."
"Had my fair share of many different Korean restaurants and The Garden is on my favorite list. The flavors were on a whole different level of what I'm typically use to. The locals may find this as the norm, but have not tasted anything close back home. A different style I must say, but not far from the authentic baseline. The Pan Fried Pork w/ Mixed Vegetables and Soft Tofu & Shrimp Clam in Hot Pot were so good! I'd buy both again if I ever have the chance. The banchan is also on point. It may not be located in a pleasant looking shopping center, but it does not reflect what they offer. There was one waitress with a several customers. Our overall quality of service was not compromised. Excellent service!"
"So,... We've tried a few inexpensive Hawaiian places & this one is probably the best so far. It's grub. Like good, missing-Hawaii-and-need-my-greasy-fix food. It's insanely fast. The woman who takes your order is impressive at the speed she moves from ordering behind a plexiglass wall to order fulfillment. Thai Tea? Smoothie? 8-other things? She's lightening quick! Food was out in about 5-10 minutes, bagged up for our takeout order.I've tried a few items before, typical stuff. This round I tried a new menu items they were offering. I had the Honey Chicken Katsu. It was a little unsightly, I should have paid attention to the photo of it (see attached), but ordered it on name alone. It sounded good. Was honestly not for me. The white goo, I suppose, was the honey sauce? Two bites in, I was done. Sorry, maybe tweak it to not look like, ummmmm, white sticky stuff? Taste was not good either. Like someone frosted the Katsu. (Sorry!) My husband had the low-carb lunch with a Spam Musubi on the side. Greasy, good, grub! We'll try again in a few weeks, maybe to try one of their newly advertised Family Meals. (See photo.) Seems like a good amount of food for a reasonable price! Until next time!"
"Ok.. so I work in the same parking lot. So you know I had to try it! The service was great! Everyone was super helpful and guided on how and what to order as well as bringing extra napkins when they saw our roll was out. The chicharron, wings, brisket, chimichurri, and Mac and cheese are BOMB. I could do without the ribs.. they just don't do it for me. The bread pudding needs ice cream. So might do that for to go next time. I do like the backyard area, because they have plastic axe throwing and it's entertaining. I would love to go back soon, but need an eating partner. Interested? lol."
"I'm so happy we found this amazing BBQ place. Pulled pork, ribs, brisket, mashed potatoes, fries and cole slaw were all excellent! Comfortable and clean dining room with a few big screen TVs.Service was prompt and cheerful. It was late in the evening so a few things were sold out. But the Boss made sure we had plenty of food on our plates! We'll definitely be back!"
"Very nice private room. Our team go to Vegas every year. Every time we always party here. Nice food Ang good service."
