"Reviews are all over the place so I made sure to visit with an open mind. First off, originally wanted to come here to get one of their holiday (green & red) swirl bagels. I love anything festive especially during this time of year. However, by the time I arrived on Friday around 1045am, the male cashier said they're all sold out and they only make like eight per day. Ummm excuse me, what? Eight as in eight individual or eight dozen? Because if it's only 8 individual per day, that's ridiculous and very poor way to run business. It's the holiday season...why won't they make extra holiday items?! Ugh...it's fine, won't make or break it.Ordered the avocado blast on an onion bagel because there's a hash brown patty in it. I'm a sucker for hash browns! This bagel sandwich was hugeeeee! Those who have a small stomach or trying to portion control, I advise you to share. This was delicious and packed with yummy goodness. Def a repeat order. So why four stars? Service wasn't the best. The male cashier acted like I was a bother to him (maybe he's tired of taking orders during the morning rush? I don't know). And they don't provide cups of water. Only water bottle for purchase only. What kind of food establishment is this?! Even cheap fast food spots will provide some kind of water option for free."
"Not only did we savor every last crumb of our bagels, but the service was exceptional. Despite juggling multiple tasks during a busy rush, the cashier remained professional and took the time to walk me through my bagel options. The seating was cozy, the coffee was excellent, and we will definitely be returning! The Ayala's"

"The New York Bagel N Bakery is located not too from downtown. They offer a great variety of bagels, bagel sandwiches, lots of cream cheese spreads, many bakery desserts, fresh squeezed orange juice, and more! It's a casual type place. You order and pay at the counter and dine in or take out. It's a little different than what I was expecting inside. I saw a few pieces of Italian Deli memorabilia and pictures of the sopranos and other Italian memorabilia inside. They also have a little tribute to the police and some sports stuff on the walls. We tried two bagel sandwiches and took home some bagels. We tried a pastrami on a salt bagel with potato salad and an everything bagel with whitefish salad and slaw. What stood out the most was the bagels. They are unique and not like anyone else's out there. They have a nice exterior with tasty embellishments and are easy to eat. The pastrami is good but very lean. We didn't notice mustard anywhere but maybe if you ask they have some? The whitefish salad for my taste is too salty and too loose but others like it that way. We thought that the bagels were great and the desserts looked amazing!"
"This small over the top local family business is killin it!! Loved the friendly service, free packman games while I waited for the sandwich. Hot pastrami rocks and the French dip has to be one of the best in town.... so glad I rediscovered this excellent Deli. It was just as good as it was 10 years ago!"
"Brownouts the very best. Every time im out here I stop by. I love the freshness and the perfect amount of glaze"
"I've always driven by this place and was sad to see it sitting there vacant. When I heard they opened a cafe, I was so excited and had to check it out. My favorite drink so far is the White Zombie, I love the flavor combination and it just looks like a cool drink. My daughter had the Lucky Dragon and she drank the whole thing, she's 7, so this is a big deal! We also got a fruit danish and that thing is BIG, almost as big as my head. The pastry was so soft and the center was delicious. My daughter devoured it on the drive home. And let me tell you about the 212 bagel - IT IS GOOD! Hubby and I shared it and, honestly, I'm sad we did because it left me wanting more. So far, the beverages and food we tried were good. We're definitely going to be back and soon! I love the variety that they have to offer, the staff is quick and efficient, and the owner is a doll! I'm so happy that she's taken a Vegas staple and turned it into something the whole family can enjoy!"
"Should I have read the reviews like I normally do, prior to coming in? Yes. It would have helped me to make a proper decision on maybe skipping this location, but alas I was out and about and wanted something that was fairly simple to give my girls while we were running a few errands. I'm giving a star for the decent service I received over the phone from a gentleman who answered my questions about the dozen bagel box, he was friendly enough though the interaction felt a bit rushed, it was fine as I was already on my way there so I felt confident my order could be taken care of in store. Once we entered the store, there were people sitting in a few of the tables and two people in line ahead of me. The young man who I had spoken to over the phone was at the register and helped me place my order, and again he was friendly enough. He informed me that my order would be paid for and picked up at the other counter to my right. I stepped to the other counter, and after waiting several minutes a young lady came to ring me up. The total was just under $26 for a box of 13 bagels and two containers of schmear. As I was paying, I simply asked if I could please have two of my bagels warmed up to take with me. And she just replied "No." I was a bit shocked, and asked her "Really?" Her response was "We're really busy right now." And I guess she could read the incredulous look on my face...as isn't the whole Einstein Bagel business model, to make and serve bagels to their customers? So she asks "Well if you really want, I'll ask." And not in a happy way either, she walks away and asks and of course the manager obliges. So it takes about another 3 minutes to get the extra two bagels and the young lady hands them to me without saying another word, just an extra side of tude'. You know, I get it...we all have those days sometimes right? Only it doesn't seem to be the case with this particular location from now having read the other reviews. So I'm definitely making a mental note and will bypass this experience when I'm in the mood for bagels."

Bagels are the best on the go breakfast. During our Las Vegas trip, I had to stop by the The Bagel Nook for one of their tasty and fun bagels. My favorite was the Dorritos one!

Can Abel make a good bagel? I'd say he's able. Growing up in NJ it's very hard to find a bagel west of the Delaware river that I can enjoy. This bagel was about as close to that as you can find. The bagel is fluffy yet crisp on the outside. The BEC I got was perfectly salty and delicious. A must try to my east coast transplants.

A good sandwhich place is hard to come by but I am so glad I was told about this gem. The selection will have you ordering more than one sandwich!!! Staff were very welcoming and able to assist with which sandwich would fit your craving!!! This gem will become my new favorite place to stop by

I've tried their bagels, smoothies (health is wealth) and açaí bowls. Seriously the yummiest in town! I frequent here because I work close by and it's so convenient. The sweet man making it happen is pretty rad!

This spot is close to home and work, workers seem stressed today? I stood in line with two other people behind be without acknowledgment until I ordered. No good morning, straight to how can I help you. I asked how she was and she muttered some kind of response. I only saw 3 orders waiting on the board and apparently do one waiting left without their food. Not the worst service but definitely not the best. It's too early for people to seem so unhappy so early in the morning (7am)

"I stop at this place today to get a dozen donut to take to a place I was going. I was hungry so decide to get the ham and cheese torta. OMG! It was sooo good! The bread was like heaven. I can't speak for the donuts because I didn't try them, but looked like the people I bought them for liked them. The guy at the counter was super nice and service was fast. Next time I have to be in the area, I will stop for sure!"
"Stopped in for a few bagel sandwiches. The staff was friendly. The restaurant reminded me a lot of Panera in its decor and ambiance. The music playing was a little weird and loud for 9am but that was alright. The tables weren't super clean, we just wiped them down with a napkin. The bagels were excellent."
"How does a bagel place produce such crap bagels? Horrid. The veggie smear on my bagel was like an anorexic portion (see pic). I shouldn't have paid extra for it. Brisket breakfast sandwich was OK. Hashbrown was terrible and so was iced caramel coffee. Just bad. Skip this place, they're weak. Get your bagels & coffee elsewhere."
"I love the vibe of the bagel cafe, it's friendly and welcoming and people actually talk to one another. Great attitudes from customers and staff alike. Very friendly and accommodating. Let's get to the food. I had a corned beef Reuben, the corned beef was not as juicy as I hoped it would be also kind of tough and I couldn't taste the thousand island dressing. But I love the fact that you get a huge sandwich - the homemade pickle was really simple and without the generic grocery store pickle taste but it needs a little something to perk it up. The fries were great! My son had chicken salad on a bagel which he loved and there was an abundance of chicken salad on the sandwich also. I'll have to try that next time. They have a gorgeous dessert case as well as wonderful assortment of bagels and schmears as well. I had really high expectations for the Reuben and it didn't quite measure up. But they have a great extensive menu and I'm going back for sure for breakfast, bagels and other sandwiches. Oh! Got a chunk of strawberry cake to go, again expecting fantastic but it was just ok. That minion cookie was fabulous though! Try this place out!"
"CHEAP and YUMMY! I LOVE THE COFFEE here. It's WAY BETTER than ANY other coffee place i've EVER been. It used to be called Boyd's Barista. The only other place I know where you can get some Boyd's coffee is at Antique Row in San Diego. It's so SMOOTH and FLAVORFUL! I wish they made more of these places it would blow STARBUCKS out of the water ANYDAY! But most coffee places already do :)"
"We came here while visiting Vegas. I absolutely love bagels and this place came up. They are located near the convention center. Francisco was the one who helped me he was super helpful. I ended up coming here 2x on my trip. What I liked is that they also have a Pink Box Donut place inside. I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to try the donut but maybe next time.Anyhow all in all the turkey sandwich was good a little too much turkey in my opinion but the pickle was nice and crispy. The next day I came back and just got a regular bagel with cream cheese and it was good. The girls who ring you up were up were not friendly at all there was one in particular who really could improve her customer service skills this really rubbed me the wrong way. No personality what so ever, completely checked out and didn't even speak to me. Super rude. Wish she had a name tag on."
"The Bagel Cafe is a very good Deli, Bakery, and Restaurant with two locations in Las Vegas. The downtown location appears to be a ghost kitchen and the North Buffalo Drive location is full service and located about 15 minutes away from the strip. They offer fresh baked goods, house prepared roasted and smoked meats. House whipped cream cheeses, fresh squeezed orange juice, breakfast, dinners, a child's menu, and more. Alcohol is also offered here.Inside you can sit at the counter, standard tables, or a booth.Whatever you order they start you off with complimentary bagel chips and cream cheese. We tried a few things and everything was very good.Pastrami sandwich (standard is deli sliced but on menu it reads that they will hand slice) Very good and very good bread that you seldom find in Vegas.Side of Belly Lox - shipped in but hand sliced and tasted very fresh. This really did taste great and didn't seem too salty the way Belly Lox normally taste.Nova and White fish combo platter - Nice and fresh tasting Nova and also hand sliced. It really did taste better than from some of the other delis. Lots of fresh embellishments on the platter. Whitefish was standard. This also comes with your choice of bagel.Service was outstanding."
""You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!"Having the right attitude is what makes you; you! We are all great in our own ways, we need to believe in that greatness that we each have. Sure it's waking time; like most of us "where's the coffee!" This small business will make sure that you achieve and accept your greatness. Remember when, you walked into an establishment and they smiled genuinely. The employees welcomed you as a "real individual!" You matter here. Your not just a number. If you come here long enough you'll be addressed by your name. Again, this is a small world where the owners are in the kitchen making your food. How many generations ago are serving you your order? The owners of this establishment have created a special space for you to eat and enjoy oneself while you're sharing a meal. After trying so many times to get to this cafe a special event came up. We must celebrate the milestones of our children. It's a birthday party, after eating breakfast the staff brought out a special dessert treat and sang to the kids. Your 21, we shared our moment among friends. Hugs all around from those that were strangers. The love and light that comes through is enduring. Let's plan your next breakfast! Even if it's not a birthday, perhaps just some coffee and conversations, now you know where to come!"
