Blondie's Bacon Creations

Bacon makes everything better, so how could I resist the chance to try a food truck devoted to it?Blondie's Bacon Creations was one of many local food trucks that came to Sunset Park'd in 2016. You can't miss the blue truck with pictures of bacon (and a blonde), even though these guys were somewhat tucked away in a corner near the stage.The menu is mostly different variants of french fries and sandwiches, but I saw the Bacon Tater Balls ($6), a creation that they boast took 3rd place in the "Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge" (a quick Google search shows that it was held November 2015 last year and included restaurant chefs). This tray had 3 fluffy potato balls with bacon, green onion, and cheese that were deep fried in Panko breading and topped with a lemon sour cream. Although it's not the most exciting potato ball that I've had from a food truck, it was a contrast of textures and had enough bacon flavor.Blondie's Bacon Creations seems to be a solid food truck so far. I'll definitely check out some of their loaded french fries next time.

Looking for some naughty bacon treats? This is your place!I tried Blondie's when they were outside of Bad Beat Brewery. I really like Bad Beat, but I was mostly there for the bacon. First, the couple that runs the truck is really nice. They are very welcoming. I ended up at the truck three different times and they were friendly each time. I even asked if there was any way that I could get a couple of items to go for my husband since he was stuck at work and missing out. They didn't skip a beat and wrapped up a couple of items for me to take home. I was even given instructions on properly warming the food if necessary.I had a sandwich that was melted cheese, bacon, egg, and jalapenos on sourdough. It was awesome. That combination was a winner. My coworker and I shared the Dumpster Fries which were my favorite item. It was fries, cheese, bacon, jalapenos, ranch dressing, and an over easy egg. The instructions were to crack the egg in the middle to let it make a gravy on the fries. You can't go wrong with this plan. We gobbled this up. I definitely brought an order of these back to my husband.For dessert I grabbed a couple of the chocolate chip pecan cookies from My Big Fat Cookie. The cookies were huge and one would have been enough for two people. The cookies were okay, but not overly flavorful. Maybe Blondie's should have a maple bacon dish for dessert?? Bacon for the win!

This truck was booked far in advance for an event we were hosting today and last minute cancelled with no professional courtesy. It's appalling that they think they're "too good" for the clients they book! So unprofessional, I will never be a customer of theirs nor will I recommend them!

Order the dumpster fries!!! They are a beautiful creation and definitely as addictive at the Crack Fries. Maybe even more so. I love the fact that Blondie's is on wheels and can go anywhere. Friendly folks running the show, and bacon, bacon everywhere. How can you go wrong?

WOW We had a company retirement luncheon today and more than 40 employees indulged. The food was superb! You have to try their Crack Fires, and wear stretchy pants if you order the Dumpster Fries. The staff on the food truck were very friendly and professional, I would definitely call on them again. The prices were very competitive. Thanks again Blondie's

Went to the Food truck event in Providence last Friday. What a disappointment!! After ordering food we were told to come back in 15 min. It seemed kind of long, but oh well... Good thing you are busy. 30 min later got our order of bbq bacon french fries - COLD AND TASTLESS. Really!!!!! Don't know if it was just a bad luck or that's how you do it...

GREAT customer service! I lost my man and they found him for me at the goo goo dolls concert in vegas! AND the bacon jalapeño fries are bomb! I'm picky about bacon and jalapeños. The bacon was crispy and delicious. The jalapeños were legitimately spicy.

Blondie's catered our unique back yard wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The food was unbelievable and a high light for all of our guests. I highly recommend this awesome food truck!

Crack fries are bomb bomb! Bbq sauce on point. Curly fries cooked to perfection. The bacon is incredible. Grilled onions needed cooked longer. Bombshell sandwich dayyaaaaamn! Thank you Blondie ;D

Had them two weeks in a row, missing them this week at Bad Beat/Crafthaus. The melt is good, but the melt with the jalapenos and an egg is amazing. I was also talked into a pecan pie and thank god she convinced me. Fairly priced and worth it.
