WOW! Honestly speechless! Incredible how comfortable and fun of an environment they can make without being able to see anything! Our server Reagan was witty and fun! Perfect customer service. As a server myself, I can say I hope to be more like Reagan at my own restaurant. Joneé helped us at the front coming in and leaving by explaining how the experience was going to be and what the menu was after. Just a ball of light! The manager Hugh was so kind and made sure that my boyfriend and I had the experience of a lifetime. We flew out Just for this restaurant and will definitely be making the trip back out again soon to dine here.

What an amazing experience! Definitely great for a super fun date night, night out with friends or just a pit stop while visiting Vegas.Joneé at the front was super sweet and helped us answer any questions when first getting there along with their manager Hugh. Our server Reagan was a true light (in a room of dark haha) adding the perfect level of humor while also pacing out each dish perfectly.

This venue removes sight while you use your other senses of smell, touch, and taste to indulge in a 7- course Vegan cuisine in absolute darkness. You won't know what you're eating until you check out!The food is definitely not a 5- star dining experience but the experience is one of a kind and definitely tests your taste buds and sense of smell. You have to book a reservation if you're brave enough to endure 2 hours of eating in the dark here.I got a little overwhelmed and felt trapped so I wouldn't do it again but I can see how many people would enjoy this adventure. Be prepared as the price tag for dinner and 1 round of drinks for 2 came to a little over $250.. Drinks were horrible so have your cocktail before you go!

I went into this experience not knowing what to expect, and was led there by my colleagues. The hosts and welcome team are amazing and thorough - which is certainly appreciated when you're hungry. The absolute darkness while walking in and eating was.... Amazing. Surprising i spoiled no food on myself, guessed most of the food, and really enjoyed it. The tables and chairs were comfortably and appropriately placed. The vibes were good, and I had a really good time. I even enjoyed a corona in the dark in addition to amazing food!

I was looking for something kooky to do while in town and stumbled upon BLACKOUT on Yelp, located a bit further out from the strip. Worth the novelty! This was my first time trying this type of experience and would highly recommend to others. It might seem simple, but being in complete darkness felt oddly meditative and intensifying at the same time-- all while dining on mysterious dishes amidst a sea of voices. Very weird. They aren't joking when they say pitch-black-- you are literally in the void, with only the occasional tiny green light emanating from the servers' night vision goggles. I felt like a deep sea creature, observing bioluminescent flecks floating around me.I'm surprised at the reviews who were shocked their menu is plant-based-- this is plastered all over their website. In fact, it was one of the major draws for us (bf is pescatarian, I mostly avoid red meat). We reserved our time a day in advance. All dishes were unique in texture and taste-- my favorite had to be the dessert. When finally viewing the menu after returning to the lobby, we realized we correctly identified 4 of 7 courses (!!!). Very filling. TBH I think the food itself is ok (still tasty!), it's more so the gimmick that you're paying for.We loved Kristin, our server/guide :-) Her humor and enthusiasm made our whole experience so much more enjoyable. NOTE: Really disliked the outside setup. The location is already in a skeevy strip mall, and the signage font makes it look like some sort of arcade. The lobby is no help either-- instead of an upscale restaurant as advertised, it's quite sterile and cheap, more like the entrance to an office building or car rental. And there's cleaning fluid smell everywhere, likely wafting over from the bathrooms. Thankfully the bathrooms were clean, and there was no scent in the actual dining room, but the overwhelming scent while waiting was off-putting. If they could renovate the lobby, it would do wonders for the atmosphere.

Let me start by saying that many will say that it is overpriced and they may be right BUT I promise that you have NEVER experienced anything quite like this and let's face it; life is about making memories and this will be one!! Now I've eaten in a restaurant called something like Dark and you go in and the only light is candles. It was a really cool experience and super romantic. I was expecting something similar but boy was I wrong. First, they ask you to lock up your phone, smartwatches or anything else that might give off light. Ladies I suggest just sticking your purse in until you leave. You will then step inside a small red room to help acclimate your eyes. Your server will then put on night goggles as you hold on to one another's shoulders in a single file line. You enter the restaurant where it is complete dark and led to your table. The server directs you on how and where to sit, where glasses are, plates, utensils, etc. You are led through a delicious 7 course plant based meal made up of staters, tiny bites, main course, and dessert. I can't tell you what's on the secret menu as part of the fun is trying to guess what you're eating. It's so nice to truly engage with whomever you're there with as you can't see facial expressions. I suggest closing your eyes as when they are open they are constantly looking for light and it can be a little straining. There is no rush so take your time and enjoy and every minute! Afterwards you are led out and the menu is revealed. My husband and I pretty much got all but one course right and we stupidly wore white and didn't get a drop of food us! Okay; truth be told I took off my top but who would know??? So save up and make a memory already!

My husband and I went to Blackout Dinning tonight it was the most amazing time. Kristin was our waitress and made the experience so much fun. We laughed so much. Kristin made the experience the best. I am not crazy by some food textures so was a little hesitant, The food was amazing it tastes great and Was full when we left. You can not see your hand in front of your face. The whole experience is a must do it is a little pricey for reviews I had read but was worth every penny. If you have never been what a fun experience. Thank you again Kristin.

Read the FAQs! This is a100% Vegan restaurant. At over $100 per person that should be prominent on their website,". I overheard a person mention it while I was waiting to be seated. When I asked why that's not on their website, I was rudely told, "it's in our FAQs". The reservation fee of $20 pp was non-refundable. The staff was unapologetic and seemed unsurprised I wished to cancel.
