The bartender "Diego" made the bar time worth hanging around. He was personable and had a great sense of humor. Great with customers!

An okay bar in the Golden Nugget. Service is what you would expect. They make some fancy cocktails, or not so fancy if you wish. It's not cheap but not unusual prices for a casino. Located right inside the Fremont entrance with a patio. It basically is another place to sit at other than at a slot machine. It's not like you can't take your drink with you and go play. Of course, this is still a nice little bar that has a good view of Fremont Street. It's right through the doors on the north side of the Golden Nugget. There's a small patio if you want a better view. I forget what the last drink I had here was called. This was made with orange. It might have been a Campari. It's about $12 for their signature cocktails. That's typical for a casino bar, so I don't normally drink here. Overall it's a good bar. It costs a bit too much. The positive is that the drinks are strong.

Wow. Horrible experience last night. I waited patiently, quietly, for like 20 mins after ordering my drinks at the bar. (I ordered 2 Premium Margaritas, and a kamikaze. The blonde bar tender was dismissive and continued to serve everyone before me. Which is fine, they were here first. And then, a new (caucasian) couple comes up to the bar. And I make room for them because they have a lit cigar right near my face. And They place their order, And the blonde Bar Tender Immediately Serves Them Right In Front Of Me. I ask her "why did she do that" and she says "you know what, I am not serving you at all"Wtf. I have been very poor and now Im very rich, and it sucks to still get treated like crap, No matter how much money you have. I definitely felt she served them first and ignored me, because she is a racist. When I complained, the staff already knew who I was talking about.

I've never seen so much beauty in a plastic cup. Fantastic service and drinks! Norris threw in a smooth happy birthday for our guest as well!

Good service and decent pours if you're looking to grab a drink and not gamble while at The Nugget. I'm not much of a gambler, so I ended up here every night during my last visit. Watched a couple of baseball games and chatted with the friendly barkeeps. Good times without the pressure of having to throw down cash to keep your seat at the bar.

Core Summary: 1. False Advertising2. Tricks & Manipulation of customers to force them to play at the casino/gambling tables. Visited on 11/20/2019 at 12:01 noon. The only reason I stopped by this place was because it had an outdoor fire place thingie that looked cozy and invited. We were tired and cold. The signs on the table said that in order to sit there 1 drink minimum purchase required. So I purchased a drink from the bar immediately inside. (Aaron from Lansing, MI fixed the drinks)Went outside and sat to enjoy the scenary with my drink. There were other people that were already there before me, who had been sitting there a while enjoying their drinks. The people working the casino table immediately inside and across from where I sat kept leering at us, pacing back and forth, over and over and over and over. The "Pit Boss" of that station, kept moving a sign by the door to the left, and then 2 minutes later he'd come back and move it to the right, and then to the left again 5 minutes later. It was annoying. It seemed that the casino dealers and the "Pit Boss" were unhappy that we weren't inside gambling at their tables. So their first attempt to coerce us inside, was to tell everyone sitting out there that our drinks now were no longer allowed in the glasses we had them in and that we needed to come inside or else pour them into these cheap plastic cups. I didn't want to come inside, as the only areas you could sit in were right directly infront of the casino/gambling tables. These areas were uncomfortable to sit in for a long time, so you either had to just leave the area altogether, or you had to sit AT THE GAME/Casino tables, which forces you to come to these people's tables. So after 3 of these people,, including Jeff Savko, Aaron the bar tender and a woman tower over everyone's tables, including mind and repour , spilling part of my drink on the ground they finally leave us alone and let us FINALLY enjoy what we came there for. Well so we thought. The bar tender told me that he didn't want us moved and that it actually is an advantage for him to have us sitting there outside. So it looks like the Mob Boss, I mean the Pit Boss Jeff Savko was needing to meet casino quotas and set this all up.The casino dealers now are extra leering at us and stand and watch us like we're some kind of target. Guess their plan to get us inside to their tables didn't work, so they just come out right and tell us that THEY are cold and that we PAYING CUSTOMERS can no longer sit outside. So 3 different tables of people are now FORCED to go inside & sit by the casino tables. I ask for my money back, as the only reason I bought a drink at this place was to be able to sit outside next to their fire place thingie. The bar tender offers a free drink , which I take, but i STILL had to leave my $$$ there without getting what was advertised.FALSE advertising. When I requested a manager Jeff Savko appeared. He had a name tag with the title "Supervisor" on it, but when I asked if he was the manager he gave me vague word salad answers. I asked the woman who had spilled my drink without saying sorry or offering compensation and she in turn gave me the same bs convoluted answers. I asked 2 other people there that were casino dealers/workers and got the same responses. They just kept answering my request for a manager with more questions to divert and probably tired me out until I would get frustrated and just leave. Due to these manipulation attempts, I will not be back again. I know that Fremont Street and Las Vegas in general is set up to fleece people of their money, but I don't tolaterate dishonesty and manipulation tactics.
