Okay, so, I've never actually been to Axum Palace. I had a stellar food delivery deal and Ethiopian sounded grand. (Ethiopian is my favorite cuisine.) Axum Palace was the first to show up on my restaurant feed, so I placed an order for two veggie dishes. What showed up on my doorstep was two full trays of these Ethiopian legume mashes, packed tight with extra injera bread. Yesssss!I got the mildest spice options for both dishes when ordering online. 1. Lentil: Savory red lentils stewed in garlic, onions, and berbere.2. Alicha Kik: Split beans cooked with olive oil, onions, garlic, ginger, and turmeric. Both dishes were fantastic, with the lentil having more overall flavor and spices than Alicha Kik. The legume mashes, and the injera bread, are vegetarian, healthy, and gluten-free! I loved my order from Axum Palace and have absolutely no complaints. I'm going to be ordering from them again too!

I called in my order for 5 entrees. I was told food would be ready in 30 minutes. Once I arrived I was told just a few minutes later, that ended up being about another 20 minute wait but i bought a beer a chilled out. The restaurant is more like a hall; it was absolutely beautiful inside and would be great for a party of about 25 - 50 people. Stage, alcohol and coffee bar were ready to go and the music system was awesome. On to the food, we ordered the veggie platter, meat platter and doro wat. All dishes were provided with more injera than i knew what to do with. Though the potato dish was a bit undercooked all of the food was yummy. I didn't remember doro wat being so spicy but the injera helped. Out of a 1 -10 spice level, it was at a high 8, low 9. And I'm no punk when it comes to spice. Even my husband was sizzling.Overall, I would definitely eat here again but i would dine in as the carry out method did not translate well. Also, the prices on the website are not current...i was a bit surprised when i got my bill.

Food was very flavorful... once it finally came out. Service was excruciatingly slow. Only 2 other tables, yet servers often completely out of sight. Tablecloths badly stained and wrinkled lowered quality of the atmosphere.

After having tried nearly all the Ethiopian restaurants in town, I'm excited to say that this is one of the best. It's a great addition to the unofficial "Little Ethiopia" of restaurants and grocery stories along Flamingo. The space was very clean and I would have loved to try dine in, but only had time for takeout today. Got two absolutely heaping and piping hot portions of vegan fitfit (Ethiopian breakfast- injera tossed in tomato and onion sauce) and shiro (side dish made from puréed chickpeas and spices). I think this was the best shiro I have ever tasted, even after traveling in Ethiopia! The flavors were amazing with a kick of hot spice and the texture was deliciously creamy and not too oily. The injera here also tastes very fresh and has a great flavor. The service was also outstanding- the chef came out from the kitchen to give me my food. He greeted me by name and offered me more shiro on the house. He also said that when I come back if I would like it more or less spicy, just let them know. The feeling of hospitality was so great. Like all Ethiopian places, they are vegan friendly and will make sure your order is vegetarian or dairy free. I'm pretty sure all the meals are cooked to order from the quality of the food that I tasted. Will definitely be returning and any fan of Ethiopian food in Vegas should as well!

I've never had Ethiopian food before but it was excellent. I had the meat sampler, I think it's a Siga platter. The place was empty for a Saturday but I wonder if it picks up since it is open until midnight. Anyhow, great experience, simple atmosphere, and friendly service. Will definitely try again.

New addition to the Ethiopian places located along Flamingo on the westside, Axum Palace provides a great option! Their injera is fresh and made onsite. One of the friendliest Ethiopian places in Vegas. The owner, Ibrahim, and chef, Napoleon both came over to our table to check how we liked their food. Clean, well run, great service. If you are a fan of Ethiopian, or just want to try it for the first time, highly recommend Axum Palace.

Third Ethiopian restaurant we've been to in Las Vegas. Hands down the best. Open noon to midnight 7 days per week. Opened menu; first thing we see is Breakfast. Open noon to midnight; when do people eat breakfast. "Most of our customers don't get up until noon". Asked the waitress if we could have a large platter with a sampling of meat and vegetable dishes. Everything was delicious; a great decision. We'll definitely be back. We asked about a large professional sound stage. They hope to have live music soon.

Alright, this place is amazing. The food is delicious. I did a take out order and they packaged it perfectly, no spillage and extra injera included!!! The Nay Beiray Awaze Tibsy is something to write home about, especially if you enjoy well balanced spice. The veggie combo dish has good variety and flavor. I was very pleased with the Tsebie Dorho, you get lots of sauce with bone in chicken (that's where the flavor is) and two eggs which add a different experience. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The only thing I'm surprised at is the lack of pictures. I come to Vegas every year and this is now on my must stop list!

The food remains excellent. The menu has even expanded a bit. Still the best Ethiopian food I've had in Vegas, and would be a top notch competitor to restaurants back east in Philadelphia and D.C.
