Can't help that the place was busy, they don't accept cards, they only take cash. The attraction was mid at best. I wouldn't go back. That's my personal opinion though.

Overall haunt was a five. But location and setup was a little disappointing. The add I saw looked as if these were real abandoned buildings. It turned out to be a pop up with trailers/containers in the mall parking lot. Directions to address was not to clear. I copied the address from the website, it brought us to the mall. Being from out of town and using Uber, we had to walk the mall to figure out where it was at. We got there early on the holiday weekend and it was already busy and waited 30 min each for both haunts. They did keep the lines entertained with characters scarring guest. Music and maybe Halloween movie being played on a big screen would have been a nice touch. And a few more photo opt locations maybe in locations threw the line. The haunts were spooky and gave a good chilling scare. It was perfect for getting a little adrenaline going for the night. The rooms were very well decorated and themed very well. Lights in the bathroom would have been nice.

Asylum and Hotel Fear Haunted HouseGrowing up, I lived on cheesy zombie and horror movies. I have since loved horror movies and anything that can be scary. During my time at Universal Studios Hollywood, I was able to continuously attend Halloween Horror Nights as well as other events like Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, Knott's Scary Farm, and The Haunted Hayride. Now, coming here, I can honestly say I was only startled once, but there were so many aspects of this place that I truly enjoyed. They don't have the huge budget here, but they have a desire and an intent to deliver a truly spooky evening. Not to mention, we arrived just before closing and they still let us enter! I say, come on down! There is security everywhere, it's safe, and it's fun.My wife and I even managed to talk to one of the guys after and he was friendly and very interested in feedback so that they can improve their experiences. If you find yourself walking in a spinning corridor with smoke sometime soon while you're there, you're welcome. The smoke was my idea. One final big thank you to the actors and staff of the Asylum and Hotel Fear! We will be back next October!

We had a great time at Hotel Feat and Asylum! I think it really lived up to the expectations. There were a number of great surprises and effects that impressed us! We left the place smiling and talking about our favorite parts. When you get there you must go thru Hotel Fear first, then Asylum second. We showed up at 10pm on a Friday and it took about 30min to get thru the first line without the Fast Pass. Second line was about the same. I noticed it started to slow down around 11 - 11:30pm. If we did it all over again we would have showed up at that time instead.Overall: 5 star Halloween experience

In town visiting for the Halloween weekend. I heard around that the Hotel Fear and the Asylum haunted houses were a must. 1000%. Absolutely loved it! My lady friend and I did the Hotel first and the Asylum after. Both amazing! Hotel slight favorite for me. It was super busy but the lines went really fast. We went for the VIP experience so it was extra quick. Would recommend to anyone who wants a great scare and a super fun time!

I was looking for some Halloween festivities for my husband and I, and all Yelp reviews pointed me here! I am so glad we chose Asylum and Hotel Fear over the other haunted houses. We bought a fast pass online. The website prompts you to be 15 minutes early. I'm not sure if they truly abide to that rule- maybe if it's busier, but they didn't seem to care when we went. We did show up early but it didn't seem to matter.$45 per ticket for both hauntings, fast pass, isn't too bad. Between the haunted houses and the line we spent maybe an hour here. The staging in Hotel Fear was awesome! Super well put together, looks very realistic. There were some decent jump scares but not any chasing. Hotel Fear would be perfect for kids.We went to Asylum after Hotel Fear, I definitely recommend that order to get the best experience. Asylum was much better, suited more for teens-adults. Lots of chasing, spooky jump scares, and the scariest part is at the end. ;)The actors were fun, the costumes were great, the interiors were freaking awesome and super realistic! NOTE: The actor's aren't allowed to touch you. I've been to many haunted houses, and nothing is scarier than being grabbed at. This place is much more PG-13 than what I've experienced, but I can put money on Hotel Fear and Asylum being #1 in Vegas.

Super fun, chilling, creepy. I'd definitely do it again. The darkness and jump scares had me saying "Oh Jesus" a few times. Worth paying an extra $10 for the fast pass instead of waiting in line for 45 minutes.

Where can I begin. Came here two weeks ago with my daughter, her friend and her friend's mother and we had a great time. As a mom, I really appreciated how well it was marked out on Google maps, and how clearly signs were posted up to lead you right to their location on the Meadows Mall parking lot. I think it would've been easy to find just on the strength of Google Maps, but the extra signs were a noticeably professional touch. I've gone to other haunted houses, and they never take the trouble to add additional signs. The area is fenced, which I also appreciated as a mom, and only one entrance which was flanked by a metal detector and security guards. I think one thing our group especially commented on throughout the evening was the commitment that the actors had to retaining their character not just inside the houses, but outside, providing entertainment to those waiting in line, or walking through the property adding that scary ambience with their acting. I think that does set them apart as well. Anyway, once inside, I really do think the houses rival anything you can find in Las Vegas for a haunted house experience. You get the maze, the decor, the lights, the fog, the music/sound effects Into me, the best part were all the actors. The kids liked the haunted house trailer the best while my daughter's friend's mom and I thought the asylum was more scary for adults. Whoever is hiring the actors and coaching them is doing a really good job They were super committed to their acting and screaming, and how they could continue to do that all evening, screaming at the top of their lungs, lol. But the most amazing experience for me was the commitment and customer service from the staff. My daughter has a pair of limited edition crocs with "Wednesday"-themed jibbetz on them that you can't purchase a la carte without purchasing the shoes at over $160 a pop. The one on her shoe popped off and after exiting the haunted house realized it and was devastated. I let the staff of the ticketing office know and left my phone number on the off chance a miracle happened and somebody found it and reported it (I was skeptical). The gentleman who always wears a pink bandanna came and even suggested that we stay a minute while he actually went and tried to find it at that moment. He wasn't able to that evening, but I was incredibly appreciative of him volunteering to try in the midst of all the chaos. We left that evening truly thinking that we would probably never see it again. 2 weeks later, I noticed a voicemail saying that they had found it and wanted to report it back to me! We went back yesterday and successfully retrieved it. Truly blown away at the level of caring they exhibited, the attention to detail, and notably, family atmosphere and camaraderie of the staff who work there. It is heartening to know that businesses like this can still be run by people who truly care about the experience you have and not just about turning a buck for the season. Thank you and we will continue to remain loyal customers every Halloween forward! Keep doing what you do!
