Art Bus Coffee

What do you get when you combine an art gallery and a coffee shop and put it all on an English double-decker bus? Steve Patchin's Art Bus Coffee, of course! Steve is a local artist specializing in photography who combined his two passions into one business. The Art Bus visited my workplace as a staff perk for the end of the first quarter of the school year. I wasn't involved in the reservation process, but Steve was great to interact with and very professional. The bus itself is impressive, with an outdoor coffee-ordering window (with an expansive menu of music-related drink names and reasonable prices!) and an upstairs interior featuring artwork on display and available for purchase. There's also seating and cushions available to sit and sip your drink and chat. The bus was a hit at our event, and definitely a unique option to keep in mind for something fun to do for your team.

I had a hot chocolate with brown sugar syrup at the Magical Forest from this Bus. It was great! I forgot to put whipped cream on it. They invited us inside to look at the art but we declined.

What a FUN find! Heidi Harris told me about this great "food truck"... "pop up"... FUN PLACE on her FB show page and I'd actually been wondering about it for a few months after seeing the bus (Oh, did I mention that it's a double-decker BUS??!!) at Steve Patchin's Photography Studio on Jones. Well, it's that SAME Steve who's brainchild is this fantastic BUS / Art Gallery / Coffee shop! Grab your coffee on the 1st deck, then meander upstairs to the 2nd deck to hang out with some great art and lovely seating! And the crew couldn't be nicer! You'll meet Steve in person and can chat about art and things!! They move around, so, for NOW.. you can catch them on Friday's 7-9 in front of the Wells Fargo on Rainbow and Sahara! Put it on your calendar!

What an awesome concept brought to life! The Art Bus and associates were a lovely experience...the drink menu is large, and I found my iced tea with raspberry extremely delicious! Everyone I encountered was very polite, sincere, and helpful. They opened their bus for us to explore their beautiful artwork and relax on the second level. I definitely recommend this unique experience!
