Apache Taco Shop

Came to try out this spot since it was open late and close to the house. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, it's great to speak to someone with social skills as it doesn't feel common anymore in the customer facing positions. This place definitely stays busy as there were many to go orders being picked up while we waited for our food to be ready. The food was good, but I especially enjoyed the Bavarian cream filled churros. Definitely recommend that!

Seems abandoned once I walked in. 1 lady was behind the counter. She was nice. Very strange vibe. I should've walked out. I ordered a chicken and steak street taco. It said $5.25 a taco, somehow I was charged $14.50? Not sure why? I paid and left. The tacos were gross and tasted stale. I won't recommend and I won't be returning.They need to improve quality of food.

I tried this place as it was my first time and it's ok. I ordered a taco plate it came with beans and rice and two tacos with pico de gallo. no salsa. They didn't have carne asada and I sub it for pastor. My significant other ordered the pastor fries and it came with cheese and pastor with the fries. So plain. He had to add beans, pico and salsa when we were at home. The taste is so plain, no seasoning. The service was good. It was clean as well but the food is not that good.

The review is for a carne asada breakfast burrito. Great size for the price but very bland. Steak had no taste and was a bit chewy. Potatoes very bland and boring. Their arbol salsa saved it - it's really good.

I used to be like a weekly regular here but the past couple times we've gone it's just gotten pretty bad. For the amount you pay here, the portions have gotten smaller. It was $36 for a two fish taco plate and asada plate. There was kinda a language barrier putting in the order for pickup. But that's totally fine. Just that I asked for no quac on my asada plate because I'm allergic to avocados but it was still put in my order. I was able to scrape it out and give it to my husband. Then we said no beans for both and sub for more rice, they didn't do that. You can look at my previous pictures and reviews. So for how much you're paying to not get what you asked for is pretty annoying. The flavors are still there. But even last time my asada fries were cooked in some really old ass oil. They were kinda black and had a burnt taste to them. I wanted to try the place again so I can see if it was just a one time occurrence but it's pretty much gone downhill. I understand the economy is wack and prices have been going up. But it's all about consistency. If you've been going somewhere years. Raise the prices due to the economy but don't change your consistency.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 just wanted a quick bite late at night so got a quesadilla with lengua. It's the saddest quesadilla I've ever seen with just a sprinkle of cheese and a burnt tortilla. The tongue itself was good but just boiled and placed into the tortilla. Service: 5/5 - quick and to the pointAmbiance: n/a - ordered food to goValue for price: 1/5 - $0.75 for credit card fee so over $12 for a sad quesadilla. Don't bother with this shop even if you're desperate at night.

Alright so I have been going to this place for years now since I worked at the T-mobile at the Fort Apache and Tropicana location. My friend showed me this place, the Apache fries is what I usually get. So the only reason I have this place 4 stars as opposed to the 5 I would have gave it is because they kind of dropped the quality of the fries. And I feel like they have began to over cook them. Don't get me wrong the steak is great. Like it genuinely taste like the carne asada you would expect at your uncles carne asada on a Sunday afternoon, very well marinated and all. But my only issue nowadays is the fries. I still go and get them here and there and I would suggest you do too! The workers are usually really nice and helpful. The place itself looks like your typical hole in the wall Mexican spot but the food is great! Never going back to this place again. Overpriced and quality was garbage. Paid 22 dollars for fries and and a very small quesabirria with absolutely no taste. Ordered adobada fries and I got a mixture of asada bits of chicken and lots of fat. Waste of money.

Went in about a month ago and the food and portions were great!! We thought we had found our LV mexican spot. Went tonight after ordering over the phone and they completely messed up our order. Ordered 2 carne asada burritos with no rice, carne asada fries with a side of guacamole and 3 rolled tacos, total was about $76.00. The burritos were super small in comparison to last month, bland in flavor and they had rice in them, the carne asada fries were very small and they forgot my side of guacamole. I get fast food orders are going to get messed up sometimes, but when your paying almost $80.00 for simple taco shop food, the least you could do is get the order right. High prices and incorrect order are not a good mix.

This spot is conveniently open 24/7 which is awesome, but the prices are a little high for the quality of the food tbh. $4.50 for the smallest Tamale I have ever gotten . It was also dry. The Caldo de pollo is decent, but also it's $15 bucks.
