3 visits the last week.Visit 1- everything was perfection. Food hot and delicious, staff fast, efficient, and kind. Would have rated 6 of 5 stars everything was so great. Visit 2- order was incorrect, no condiments were given. 3/5 starsVisit 3- order was correct, but ketchup had so much goo all over it (honey?) everything became sticky. Asked the cashier to remove some ketchup packets from my bag as he didn't notice, he did, did not replace and assured me the person bagging the order had some packets in there. Got back to hotel room and those were just as sticky with honey. Husband did not feel great after either. 2/5 stars.

Ok so after some late night fun on Fremont street we needed to find something to eat as we were staying at the D downtown . Coney Island hot dogs was staring us right in the face so hey why not . Very small place if you blink you will miss it . Small menu that get straight to the point . I had a coney dog with everything . It includes chili onions and cheese is extra . Had to get it with the cheese Next up was the chili cheese ground beef dog. Wtf is that I wondered ? Well let's see . It's ground beef chopped up on a hot dog bun with chili and cheese. This thing right here !!! 10/10 I walked back up to get another becuz of what it did to my mouth . This is a must try !! Different and delicious. Hats off coney !! The hot dogs were unimpressive to me. They also do the chili cheese fries .

I took my adult sons to Las Vegas for the first time on a real vacation...not just a drive through. We stayed off Fremont Street so got to experience every store for a week! The place is little and kind of hidden amongst all the other stuff going on at Fremont Street. When I saw the sign, "American Coney Island," it made me immediately reminisce on Detroit, Michigan and the stories I heard growing up. My dad was from Detroit, and anybody that I ever met from Detroit talks about Coney dogs. They aren't regular chili dogs...they are coney dogs. It's basically a chili-dog made of a different kind of chili with added onions and mustard or whatever else you want on it. They are loaded with toppings and almost impossible to hold with your hand without getting everything everywhere. Its best to eat with a fork. Food price was expected...it's Las Vegas. You order at the counter and find yourself a seat. The seating was cramped but everyone was in and out rather quickly. I was glad my kids were able to experience a coney dog for the first time. They loved their food and I loved mine! Sidenote...in Detroit, American Coney Island sits next to Lafayette Coney Island. If one line is too long, you can go next door. And in another part of Detroit is Duly's Place Coney Island, and they are where my dad frequented all his young life when growing up in Detroit. Coney Dogs are amazing. Try one if you haven't!Yes to American Coney Island.

Oh yum! Stumbled upon this spot for a hot dog and it did not disappoint. The chili hot dog was delicious and had a good hot dog itself. I always like onions addition. Great service and prepared so quickly! Love it!

These hot dogs taste pretty decent and they are on the cheaper side being around $6. The coney dog came with mustard, chili, and onions and it's convenient that they are open 24/7. Service was prompt and this location is on fremont street.

Located at The D Las Vegas at Fremont. The hot dogs were okay. Plus is they put everything on the hot dogs. Had the coney with the chili, onions and mustard. For the price I paid it could've been better. I honestly think Costco dogs are better and cheaper, but less the chili. Dining area is a little cramped but the turn over is pretty quick. Fairly clean and well lit. Cashiers are friendly and have a positive vibe. $20 for 2 dogs and a soda. Kinda pricey. But that's Vegas for ya!

I want to give this place 3.5 stars but half stars are not an option. It wouldn't be right to give this place 4 stars because the quality of food don't deserve that rating.Staff are nice and we got our food almost immediately. It doesn't take long to put hot dogs in a bun and ladle up some sauce. I ordered the loose burger and coney with cheese fries. It is exactly how it sounds. Price was affordable and place was cramped. No complaints but nothing to write home about.

A true classic and perfect anytime! The staff were amazing and super fast with our order. It is clean and well organized. It is an absolute MUST place to visit for very hot and crispy fries, and of course the chili dog. It has a perfect snap from the casing and excellent flavor. And yes, you must keep the mustard and onions, it pulls it all together as one harmonious unit. I will be sure to stop in for a dog and fries every time I visit Las Vegas. Root beer also goes really great with this meal. Much love guys, you rock!

Great option for those looking for a quick bite on Fremont Street. First time here, and we had a good experience. Restaurant next door to the 'D' Casino.Brought back childhood memories of fairs and carnival foods type of vibe.Let's dive into the foodCheese fries::: SO GOOD! it's all about the cheese in this dish! Smooth, creamy and plenty! on a bed of crunchy fries. Chili Cheese dog::: Fantastic! Not sure if it's because we were hungry. But, it hit the spot. This place has burgers and gyros too. Probably check out next time. The staff was friendly and helpful!Thank you for a good experience!

I showed up to Coney Island after a long day of debauchery. I got chili cheese fries. They were pretty overpriced. The employees were super helpful. I could tell that they were used to inebriated people not knowing where the fridge was (it was right behind me). It was a small place with just a handful of tables. The chili cheese fries were just chili cheese fries. Passable. I'd never go there sober. But I had my chili cheese fries and Powerade, and was back on my way.
