My wife and I chose to eat at America located inside the New York, New York Casino. The food and the service is consistently great. The ambiance is typical Americana...all things patriotic. Our server Preston recommended the burger and it was the best! Thank you to the entire crew working at America this holiday season.Side Note, the burgers are amazing.

I was staying at the NYNY hotel and this restaurant was conveniently located at the bottom of our elevator. Let me start by saying it is a very large restaurant inside Is that isn't necessarily noticeable from the outside. It's nice inside. I'll start with what I liked which was our waiter, portion size and the prices which were reasonable unlike everything else on the strip. America had Denny's type prices and variety. That being said, The only thing I didn't care for is that The food was fairly bland. I got the country fried steak and it was very average. It probably needed a crunchier crsut and a lot more seasoning and probably a better combination of seasoning. The mash potatoes were good and vegetables very average. I got my son the kids meal. I didn't try his cheese burger but the fries needed to be deep fried longer and had no salt. They needed to be crunching and needed seasoning big time. I only took a photo of my plate. I feel like the fod could be good here if they can make minor adjustments and hope they do.

The America restaurant inside the MGM New York New York is well-lighted, clean, and staffed by cheerful and helpful folks. It's open around the clock. The coffee was quite drinkable.That's a complete list of the positives. The food, while technically delivering the promised dishes, somehow manages to disappoint on every level. The food looks like it should be okay, but the corporate content and mediocre flavor profiles are uniformity let-downs. Nothing about the grilled cheese sandwich, the meatball sub, or the French fries was satisfying (other than filling our stomachs).It wasn't that any of the good was bad; dealing with food that's so completely uninspiring was worse.

The worst I think if you're hung over and don't care what you eat then this is your spot Husband said "this is the worst eggs Benedict I have eaten in my life. Thank God for Heinz ketchup" Me - I ordered the vegan burrito because there was nothing remotely healthy for those of us who are picky. She said "we are out of vegan eggs" I said "go ahead and put real eggs in it" she comes back "we are out of vegan sausage" Ughhhh scrambled eggs with cheese, cottage cheese and some avocado please Cheese was a square on the eggs - just not melted, avocado had to be cleaned of aging. It came as if it was room service with silver covers on the plate I am sure there are better places to eat if you want a nice breakfast

Food was classic diner style with big portions. I was a little disappointed that the one vegan option they had on the menu was not available. However, the service was great. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Their bakery section is phenomenal with beautiful pastries and lots of different kinds of donuts. Get there early to eat because there will be a line out the door by 9:00 am. The place is open 24/7, and situated inside the New York-New York hotel.

While staying in the New York New York, we chose this location for breakfast one morning. A small line to be seated, but not too bad. I was shocked to see it was $7 each for coffee and it wasn't that great! Alas, we needed the caffeine so we sucked down a couple cups. I ordered the Build Your Own Omelet ($14.95) and it was a good portion for the price. Nothing special, but it fueled the day. I will note the art was pretty cool to look at, but the open area did make it kind of loud. Typical for Vegas as every where is loud.

Every time I stay at NewYork NewYork in Vegas I eat here at least 2-3 times. I've enjoyed every dish I've ordered off their menu. The service is always friendly, accommodating and quick. It's clean and the only drawback back is the bathroom being outside the restaurant in the actual hotel casino floor. They are never closed and for the most part as long as it's not a busy season you can get seated in a fire amount time. I still say try to book reservations to be on the safe side. The drinks here are decent too. You can't go wrong with choosing to eat here it's also not expensive compared to other Vegas hotel restaurants.

VEGAN REVIEWstaying in New York, NY hotel so we stopped here for breakfast. was pleasantly surprised that they had Just Eggs, vegan cheese, and veggie sausage! it tasted fine at the time... but an hour or so later my stomach was hurting, which made me suspect some cross contamination :(service was good-- they have a tag team approach to tables, so you will see a few peoplethe restaurant is bigger than it seems from the outside!

We are a party of 4 and all ordered the ribeye special last night for dinner around 730. We were seated right away in a booth and there was plenty of seating available. The steaks were delicious and all cooked the way we ordered. The baked potatoes were good, but the mashed potatoes were amazing! Veggie side of green beans and squash was also very tasty. We had the NY style cheesecake with blueberry topping for dessert which was fine. The service and attention to our table was great and we were even given free drink refills in to go glasses on our way out. No complaints and would definitely come back!
