What a beautiful arena. - Gorgeous layout and pristine facility. I never saw anyone cleaning but it's always clean! - Cafe on site has limited options but great coffee.- Great ice surface! No melty spots or puddles here.- Pro tip: the best popcorn in Vegas is caddy corner from the rink. Las Vegas Kettle Corn & Specialty events...Highly recommend! - Parking blows but there's a small lot near the popcorn store or you can trickle into the neighborhood. - Sundays is farmer's markets, so plan early for possible road closures & reduced parking options

Wow! This is incredible!I grew up in Henderson and moved away about 5 years ago. Today in seeing this facility for the first time. It's awesome! This building alone has upgraded the feel of the water district. Inside are two state of the art skating rinks, and then there is a restaurant in over looking both of them

We go here for skating lessons. Yes it gets very crowded and can feel overwhelming...BUT the program is organized very well, the teachers are great. I think Aerial does a great job running the program, and you will see her skating all over the place keeping an eye on everyone and everything. She can tell when a kid needs to be moved up to the next class and will come help. She will also have the disruptive kids step out of class. I know some people don't like that, but everyone is paying a lot of money for their kid's classes and they are there to learn, and they do learn fast there!!!The pizza restaurant is so good and affordable too!!! The restaurant's, kids' meals and lunch specials are the bomb!! Highly recommend!

Went down to Henderson to check out the brand new practice facility for the Valley's new AHL team, the Henderson Silver Knights. The Arena is open for business, but it's not yet completed. There is a mess of construction on the exterior of the building, but the public is welcome to go inside to shop at the team store or rent skates if you want to go ice skating. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and there were probably a dozen or so people skating. There's free parking (as of now) behind the arena. It's tricky because you go through a mostly unmarked door, then walk down behind-the-scenes corridors with dressing rooms and offices. Be careful, because the floor is wet and slippery from the ice making machines and melting ice. I'm sure the official entrance will be in the front once the place opens for real. The facility is laid out like City National Arena (CNA) in Summerlin, except parking is in the rear and the team store is to the left of the main entrance instead of the right. I know fans are going to hate me for saying it, but everything about the construction here feels cheap. It's true. It's very boring and stark inside, and there are mostly Vegas Golden Knights logos everywhere -- I thought this was the SILVER KNIGHTS facility! (To be fair, some of the VGK logos are for the Jr. Knights). The front desk is really corny looking with a fake stone backdrop, and the restrooms are so plain and sad. I think corners were cut to save money here, and it shows. There are two rinks just like at CNA, with backless spectator benches / bleachers at each. I wish they had put in real seats. The Livery team store is very small too. They sell VGK and HSK merchandise, but note that only HSK season ticket holders can get a discount here (NOT VGK season ticket holders). I am fortunate enough to have season tickets to both teams, so it works out. There's a good variety of merchandise, including the new VGK gold jerseys and HSK home and away jerseys. Due to COVID, the dressing room is closed so you can't try anything on. That's a dealbreaker for me when you're talking about a $150 jersey. Also, the jerseys are NOT personalized with player names and numbers, they're plain -- although I hope they offer personalization (it was unclear). If they can make more money, I'm sure they'll sell it to you. A restaurant and other things are coming, but aren't done yet. The outdoor spaces are nonexistent. But if you want to be among the first to check the place out, it's open for business.

While looking for a specific VGK players jersey I headed to CNA only to find they were sold out with a 6-8 week wait. I decided to go back to the livery with much hesitation, I'm so glad I did! I found the specific jersey along with a very helpful and friendly employee. I'm updating my review to reflect my recent March 2021 purchase/visit. The livery offers a multitude of items both HSK & VGK! If you live in Henderson it's definitely worth the trip before heading to Summerlin.

Newly opened is historic downtown Henderson at the end of Water St. and on this Wednesday evening it was quite a hub of activity! Lots of young kids maybe ages 5-7, skating getting ready for hockey practice..... Very clean & very cold inside as it is an ice area, DUH! Plenty of bleacher type seating with 2 entrances & plenty of FREE PARKING!! Always a nice touch for sure~ I didn't realize there are 2 ice arenas next to each other, on this evening only one was in use. Clearly enough ice for a competitive sports season ~ Still this is impressive & I hope the community enjoys this new skating structure for many many years

This is a very well run facility. The facility is state of the art with great ice, dressing rooms, is extremely clean and on top of all that, the service and the staff are customer oriented. Frankly the best, I've experienced. If you are not thrilled with the service here, you haven't been to a lot of arenas and/or are not unrealistic about the service level you expect. This service level flows through the hockey shop that is in the facility. Its very well stocked and run. I was fortunate to play professional hockey and my son used to LOVE going into hockey rinks everywhere we traveled around North America. He also played professionally so we have been to many hockey rinks and this one ranks right at the top. Great work and I look forward to the next visit to this facility.
