I actually had a good time here at this small little casino! Of course, I won a little money so that always helps the mood. They had a good selection of newer and older games, but don't expect an entire row of the same game. Maybe two next to each other at the most. They have 2 blackjack tables and I saw 1 dealer and 1 pit boss. There's also sports better and a nice bar. If you want more greasy food, Taco Time and Burger King are in the same building and just a short hallway walk away. Honestly, if you're just tired of big casinos on the strip, this might be a place to hang for a while.

I like this place but I kind of knew I would considering my penchant for dive bars and dinky casinos. Any place off the strip with the real people is my kind of place. Alamo casino is inside the TA truck stop on Blue Diamond and I-15. It's basically in a room and features two blackjack tables and a small slot area. The pit boss and dealers were very welcoming. Dante and Mike were both funny and friendly dealers. The pit boss made sure we got drinks and the awesome bartender/dealer Pamela kept refilling our empty glasses. She makes one hell of a White Russian despite the fact that she said it was her first time making one. If you sign up for a new players card you get five dollars in free play on the slot machines. Not all the slot machines participate in the free play but we managed to find a few that did. I ended up losing $50 but my fiancé won $25. Between the free drinks and the fun we had I feel like we hit the jackpot with the Alamo.

This is a cool little casino that's located inside a truck stop on the corner of Blue Diamond and I-15. I've driven by this place many times and just got gas or munchies but never took the time to see the actual casino. I finally came in and wanted to make a sports bet. The sports book was pretty small but still offered all the sports that you'd want to bet on. I also noticed a couple blackjack tables. There were a couple people having fun and really enjoying themselves with a dealer named Jennifer. There's a bar too. At the bar there are a handful of video poker machines. Pretty cool truck stop. I'll be back to cash my sports bets and play some Blackjack.

When you absolutely have to have some action on the afternoon games and you're willing to go to a truck stop to get it. lol.....This place is a trip. This casino is truly hidden. I have lived over on this side of town for about a year and a half now and was just told about this place by my boss, of all people. You can find the Alamo Casino in the Travel America Truck Stop area that is directly across the street from the Silverton Casino on Blue Diamond Road. The casino is pretty dinky, but what do you want for a casino in a truck stop? lol There are a couple of dozen slots and 2 gaming tables for poker and blackjack. They have a decent little bar area with about 3 TV's overhead with typically a handful of barflies getting their drink on in the middle of the day. But the main reason I come here is, tucked away in the corner, they have a tiny William Hill Sportsbook. I swing by here to get some action in because it is super easy just to pull in, make my bets, and get out quickly. Perfect way to get action on the games on my way to work. Sometimes it takes too long to park in a large parking structure and navigate through a big ass casino just to make my little bets. This makes it very easy and convenient! For that reason alone, I am giving it 3 stars. It ain't glitzy. It ain't fancy. It's crude, but effective. It's A-Ok!3 stars.

Believe it or not I've actually dropped by here and played! This is a tiny casino located in a gas station truck stop. The staff are friendly, they have three table games and maybe 50 slots. They used to give free food for players... drinks are always free as long as you're playing.Worth a visit if you're pumping gas or need to fulfill your gambling itch.Vegas has the most random casinos in the most random spots lol.

The Alamo's self-proclaimed "most liberal rules in Nevada" now include 4 decks and no doubling down on aces.Dealer was professional and friendly. His boss was rude and overtly unwelcoming. I was the only person playing and he couldn't have cared less.Being that I wasn't allowed to double down my soft 17, I asked the dealer if he knew what the basic strategy called for. It was the first time I have ever been told, at any casino, "we aren't allowed to discuss strategy or give any advice."It's beyond me why anyone would bother to visit this joint.

The the casino is fixed.Caught the dealer discarding cards off the shoe when they thought I wasn't looking. They changed my $5 chips to $1 chips also while telling me a different story. No trust here.

Just wanted to grab some gas, Taco Time and lose $20 more dollars on my way out of Vegas. Sat down at Wheel of Fortune and kept winning small amounts, thought I was going to yelled at, as I was parked at the pump. Took my winnings from WoF and sat down at Wonder Woman and immediately hit some free games. Left the casino with $150 in winnings and made my way back to LA.Was offered free drinks immediately but declined. Cool little casino, people seemed nice. Will be back next time I'm in town.

I like to play blackjack and I was foolish enough to play here even though I watched dealers win over and over and over. They only lose occasionally. I thought I might get lucky but no, the dealers will get tens on top and underneath, or a ten with a six and draw a five...over and over and over. Something stinks.Ten value cards should only show up 31% of the time as a dealer's up card, not about 70% or more! Don't play blackjack here if you value your money.
