I was skeptical at first but don't let the fact there's no casino influence you at all. That means you're saving resort fees. It's an easy walk to the Sahara and then you can get on the Deuce and go to the strip for $4. But it was fun staying around the Gateway district. They included a full free breakfast everyday, $10 dance lessons, free ice cream every evening when you sign up for text messages. Ate at Joel's Chophouse. It was good but wow they put way too much sauce on everything. It was still a lovely meal. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, had a mini fridge, but no coffee pot. Depending on which side of the hotel you stay on you're looking at crack alley or another building. We were on crack alley so just look up not down. The pool is amazing. Effie the concierge was amazing. Everyone was so nice. The downside was it really wasn't a luxury boutique. The towels were rough and smallish. The TP was worse. But for the price and other amenities it was worth it.

Came to visit during the Christmas season. Never been to this hotel before but it looked good from the review's. Booked online and grabbed a regular king room.Cute lobby- decorated for the holidays- intimate but purposeful. When checking in I asked if any upgrades were available -the lovely lady (Crystal) must have felt sorry for how sick I was and upgraded our room for us. It was a lovely gesture that meant so much since we both were sick. She even offered me different teas for my sore throat. The hotel is a little off the strip nearer to the Strat but was a great choice because it was quiet, smaller, and no casino. Monorail is literally 2 blocks away in the Sahara hotel.Because of the care and amazing service we received from Crystal and her staff- we will definitely stay here again.

Loved it!! Mega bang for the buck!! And NO RESORT FEES :)Rooms are solidly remodeled, quiet, clean and fairly spacious with comfy beds + fridge.Ample free parking, plenty of food options, free Wi-fi and includes breakfast for two every day of your stay!! I'm talking big waffles and berries, or two eggs + sausage or bacon and toast, and a third option -- YUM!! Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.Pillows could be plushier and the gym could be bigger and it would be great to have weights or machines -- but hey... Definitely get what you pay for and then some! Legit option! Highly recommended if you're looking for "value-luxury" -- these two words don't go together so I trust you know what I mean.

This review is for the overall amenities, showrooms and restaurants at the Ahern and not the hotel itself. We have visited many of the restaurants here, attended several events and seen numerous shows at the Ahern, and overall ilwe have had so many great experiences here. The staff is so friendly and professional, overall facility is so elegant and well maintained, selection of events and shows excellent (e.g., Motown Brunch, LOVE Is All You Need, Karaoke Nights with DJ Bella, expos, etc.), great dining (e.g. Joel's Chophouse, Aroma Barista Bar, etc.), reasonable prices, and easy and free parking. We are guessing the hotel is probably just as great although we have never stayed here since we are local. Overall, we always have a great experience here at the Ahern.

I first stayed at the Ahern Hotel a few years ago for EDC because it offered a cheap rate, no-smoking in and out of their property, free parking, and clean and quiet rooms that were close to an EDC shuttle stop. While not very close to much of the "happening spots" on the Strip, it was within reach via car/ride share if needed be. During that first time stay, I didn't have any issues with my stay and actually enjoyed my stay this first time around.Speed forward to this recent Thursday night - I stayed overnight in Vegas with my coworker for a trip to Zion. Most hotels in the area were booked up due to conferences. The Ahern was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, and my room offered complimentary breakfast in the room rate. I thought, great... things are looking good! Well yes, these were good things, but we wound up getting a room with questionable cleanliness. The pillows in our rooms were extremely filthy (they were not changed), as they had long strands of hair in them. They were propped up (as hotels do), and I inspected them, there were all the hairs! The bedsheets looked clean from what I could visually see, but I'm not really sure if they did clean those either if the pillows weren't cleaned, why would the bed sheets be also?I get that in Vegas housekeeping staff have to clean a lot of rooms, and they don't get paid well. And it shows, with the questionable cleanliness of the rooms here. I was hoping for a more positive experience this time around, as I had a few years back. But given the cleanliness issues here, I probably won't be back sadly.

**July 2024: Saturday Night Stay**My friend and I were looking for an affordable, but comfortable place to stay. I found Ahern on one of those 3rd party booking sites and the favorable reviews sold me. Pros-Free Parking - which is almost nonexistent in Vegas now in days-The room is VERY spacious-Shower was firm and the water hot-Beds were comfortable -Checkin area was smooth and they have fruit infused water -The price is VERY reasonable. I think I spent $121 a night (2 double beds) in September. Cons-Not a deal breaker, but the check in area is in a completely different area from the hotel rooms and parking structure. Sort of inconvenient.SummaryIf I'm looking for a quick get away, staying at Ahern is a no brainer especially if you have a car. I like that it's away from the strip so it's quieter, but also close enough so you can do all the fun Vegas stuff!

This is a review of the King of Diamonds show. My Aunt is a huge fan of Neil Diamond. I took her and my mother. My Mother and I enjoyed the show a great deal. My aunt LOVED it. She went and saw Neil in the 80s and said this reminded her of that and she was impressed. The band is great! The parking is convenient and it is a venue that everyone has a good seat. It was a more reasonable priced ticket and a 75 minute show. It made for a fun night. If you like Sweet Caroline you need to catch this show.

We came fohot! 2025 Super Bowl party and Randin was the only bartender for quite a few people. He was awesome! He knew it would be a tough night but he went above and beyond to make our crazy requests happen and we enjoyed his conversation. He was a hoot!

We went to the Beatles Love is All You Need Revue and it was FANTASTIC! The audience sang along with the songs and it was so strange to see each musician looking so much like each Beatle, especially George and John. I couldn't make eye contact; they looked so much like the real Beatles, and both of them taken from us much too soon. The show was great. A must see in Las Vegas.
