I would not recommend this place for weight loss. It was my first experience seeking help for my weight and it wasn't the best. Let me give you the good before the bad. There is a woman at the front desk, (im terrible with names) but she has very short hair. She was absolutely the nicest person there. I wish her all the luck in her future. It starts with a consultation. The consultation was so-so. She gave me the information I wanted/needed. But she was ALL over the place. It felt very jumbled. The price was high for what I was looking for. The package I chose was 200 to start plus I think it was 65$ a week for the pills. But I really wanted/want to lose weight so I said lets go for it. She showed me into the doctor who was SO rude. I made my appointment for 5:30. I was thinking to myself how convenient that was because I work 8-5 Monday through Friday. I'm sure I can't remember everything that was said word for word. But I walked into his exam room and he commented on how he doesn't understand why people make such late appointments and how some people want to get home. I responded that some people need late appointments because they work and his response was something rude but we moved on after that. (why allow late appointments to be made if you dont want people to make them?) I felt uncomfortable with him. He sounded bored the whole time and never lost the rudeness. I should have walked out at that point. But I didn't so that's my fault. He prescribed me Phentermine. They gave me my prescription and I paid the obscene amount. With this program they give you a sheet of paper they want you to fill out daily with what you eat. I attempted to but honestly keeping that sheet with me all day was just not going to work. I use MyFitnessPal and I love it. I use it every single day. But the paper? I couldn't and they want it each appointment. I went back for one more visit (weekly visits) where I was expecting to get my free B-12 shot. When it was FINALLY my turn a very rude woman said she had already locked up and then left for the day. That was my last visit. Luckily a coworker recommended me to her doctor. The price is much more reasonable. You get B-12 shots at every visit (monthly instead of weekly) they are open every other Saturday (yes!) and most importantly the doctor was kind. When people go to you to lose weight some understanding goes a long way.

Oh my lord there isn't enough words to describe how amazing Advanced Medical Weight Loss is. I have been here on multiple occasions, and every time I come in the office staff is phenomenal. The counselors really make you feel at home and welcomed. The front desk staff are so helpful. Even if they don't know an answer to a question right away they always find you the answer in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to everyone who is interested in losing weight, getting great nutritional advice, and people who are just looking to stay healthy. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Losing weight is never easy but the staff at Advanced Medical is extremely helpful and supportive. They partner with you to keep you on track, cheering you on the highs but never judging you on the lows.

Terrible place. Bought a package. Went back they said it expired. No mention of this when I bought it. They are thieves. Stay away. Program also didn't work
