A Catered Affair

Dan is a truly amazing chef. Nothing but compliments from our entire party of over 300 guests. His team was fantastic throughout the entire night and handled everything perfectly. Highly recommend this catering company!

Chef Dan came recommended through a friend, and we are so glad we went with him. He has a great staff that went over and above to make us happy, and it was nice not to have to do any of the cooking and setup. They even provide decor, which was nice because we had a winter holiday themed event and don't usually "do" Christmas type decorations, so we saved money there. Can't say enough about these guys, just thanks 10x over.

Dan seems to great better with every party. They are going into to the Guinness Book of World Records for the most 5 star ratings ever awarded.

We hired "A Catered Affair" for our wedding reception and could not have been more pleased. The food was incredible, the talk of the reception. Chef Dan is also an awesome person as well. He was so helpful and always made time to talk on the phone before the event to give us advice and make sure everything was in order. We forgot to order vegetarian options and kind of sprung it on him last minute, but he didn't mind and came through for us. I would highly recommend them for your event!

I hired a catered affair for our wedding and they did an amazing job. It was a sit down four course dinner in our backyard. Chef Dan and his team were extremely professional and wonderful to work with. Everyone loved the food! We had appetizers circulating around during the cocktail hour as well as an open bar which one of Chef Dan's team manned. His entire team was top notch. I highly recommend them for any catering needs!

We have hired Chef Dan twice - for our wedding and then a few years later for a special birthday party. Both events were outstanding! Chef Dan was wonderful to work with. He was helpful in offering ideas about dishes that would hold up well with a crowd of our size, go well together and present well too. Everyone commented on how flavorful our food was & how beautiful our displays were too. Chef Dan & his staff were professional and friendly. They made sure everyone was satisfied especially the host & hostess. When they returned the second time they pointed out all the renovations we made and remembered the complete layout of the first party without being told a thing. It was amazing. They have a REAL attention to detail, are genuine & the food is second to none. I also recommended Chef Dan to my friend for her wedding 1 year ago. She had the same outstanding experience. For me it was wonderful to see Chef Dan again & have some more of his fabulous cooking.

I used this caterer for my 50th birthday 4 years ago. While the presentation was nice, and the staff very professional, the overall taste of the food was not what I had hoped for. I had asked for a tasting, and Chef replied with "it would just be a waste of my time", and indicated that he had never had a complaint.Well, if I had tasted, I would not have booked. I am an excellent cook, and was expecting something on par with what I could have done - I just didn't want to cater my own party! Also, there was a problem with the charges - I had anticipated a certain number of guests when I first booked, but did not have as many "yes" responses. When I tried to change the number, I was still charged.Unless things have changed greatly, I would not recommend this caterer.

Wish I could give these guys more stars! Dan was awesome and very willing to work with me. He was on time, his staff were friendly and professional, and the food was great!

Chef Dan caterer my friends' wedding, then a 50th birthday party that we attended a few years ago. The food and service by Chef Dan at both events was fabulous. From those experiences, we selected Chef Dan to cater our wedding reception. Dealing with the food was straight forward and easy. We were especially pleased with the decorations and presentation that Chef Dan suggested and supplied - he really did a great job. Our family who stayed in town after the wedding fought over the leftovers for several days. We highly recommend Chef Dan for your catered event.
