There were 8 of us who were craving for Korean bbq but most of my guests didn't know how to cook it. I have been here before and so I said to my guests that I know just a place!!That night, Phoebe and Sharla were our server who were more than helpful (I think that's their names). The meats were delicious and I couldn't thank them enough for suggesting the wagyu beef- wow what a treat!! My guests and I were very happy about the beautiful restaurant ambiance also and so very clean- perfect! We will definitely be back for another experience!Thank you 8oz KS

I'll start off by saying that the service was good - our server was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and cooking our food. We didn't have to wait too long considering it was Valentine's Day today, as they don't take reservations under 8 people. Once we were seated, we already knew what combo we wanted to order based off the pictures of the menu we saw on Yelp. What we didn't realize is (according to our server) they had changed the large combo only about 2 weeks ago and taken the ribeye off as an option - the cut of meat we were looking forward to the most. Well, I thought, we're already here and committed to knowing if this place was worth the hype. The music was nice at first, mellow and a quieter vibe, but for some reason as soon as we sat down they started playing *explicit* versions of rap songs you'd probably only hear in the club or at a bar. I know this is a restaurant and bar that wants to stay modern, but considering it's Valentine's night where a lot of couples want to enjoy romantic dinner, the music choice was extremely off putting. I personally would love to hear any of the songs during a workout or anywhere else other than trying to sit and enjoy an expensive dinner. I had multiple people who had dined here before tell me the meat was absolutely top-notch and the best you can get in Las Vegas, which is the main reason we decided to go here. I am sad to report that it is, in my personal opinion, just not the case. It's said that "a la carte" kbbq is higher quality than "ayce", but I've definitely had ayce better than the meat here. Not to say the meat here was bad, but it was nothing special. For $200, you would just expect so much more, and this was a unique experience to say the least, we will not be coming back here nor would I recommend anyone to come here.

Coming to Vegas for Super Bowl weekend and wanted to return to our favorite Korean BBQ spot. Being here numerous times before we expected the once delicacy it was. Tonight was the night we say no more. We will not continue to support an establishment with such phew service. It was opposite from what it was once, service was absolutely horrid. If you get a server named Soo, just leave. Being bothered when asking for items, why do you work in a service establishment. And getting meat or wanting to submit an order for something else was non-existent. Had to flag someone down across the room to get anything for table such as asking for garlic and ssamjang lol

The good - the food was pretty good. Solid 4 stars for their food. The sad - they use a different (more expensive) menu during event week. No combo options were available. Menu items were all at least $15 more expensive with no complementary side dishes other than the ban chan. It would've been better if they indicated the surcharge somewhere (or have a note about it on their door), but this menu-upcharge situation felt sneaky. The nice - I voiced my confusion about the difference in menu price I saw online vs what I was given in store, and our waitress was nice enough to help get us the "local price". We were contemplating on walkinf out of the restaurant after seeing the crazy increases, and I guess she could see the shock on our faces. I get having a different menu during busy week, but 8oz of chicken for $45+ is crazy. $29 is already pretty pricey for chicken at their regular price, so the event pricing is just ridiculous. Mind you, that was the most affordable option for the meat. Everything else was also at least $15-20 more expensive. Now, back to the nice since they did offer us the local pricing. If you order 2 a la carte, it also comes with a choice of kimchi jiggae or the soybean jiggae + steamed eggs + kimchi pancake + veggie, so the pricing is pretty affordable, especially if you share. They also have combo options available that looks like value deals. We ordered the spicy chicken and pork jowl. I really really liked the pork jowl. The spicy chicken was grilled well, but it wasn't spicy. I preferred the spicy sauce they provided on the side better. Our waitress was also very helpful and nice. No need to grill your own meat here because they will do it (and cut it) for you. One of my friend can't eat beef, but they were also able to help pre-cook some of the meats to avoid the beef-juice contamination.

Came in for dinner on a Sunday night around 630pm. We were a party of 6 with 5 adults and 1 kid. We ordered the large beef combo, rib fingers a la carte & soy chicken a la carte. All the meats were so delicious and their kimchi side dish is so good! It is on the pricier side but the quality makes up for it. It was just enough food for us all. Service was good. Everything was cooked for us and refills on banchans & water came in pretty consistently. Overall, great place to go if you're looking for an a la carte Kbbq place with higher end meats to try!

clean, airy environment, able to accommodate small and large parties. Since it's an a la carte, the meat is grilled for you. You can def request how you want your meat cooked..medium rare or well done. the banchan was standard. You had to pay extra for the lettuce wrap. We ordered combo A, for the two of us. The meat was cooked in particular order. The quality was good! the combo comes with soup and egg. We ordered the kimchi soup but it was more kimchi paste bc tbe soup was so thick. overall, it was a pleasant experience,

Just had a great bday dinner here. My husband and I got the combo A and out of the three meats in the combo I preferred the soy garlic short rib. It had a nice flavor and it grilled nicely. The combos come with a Jjigae (stew) and we opted for the soybean. I enjoyed the flavor of this stew and it went so well with rice.As we were finishing up the meats my husband was still hungry so we added on a filet mignon. I'm so glad we got the filet because it was the highlight of our meal. Our server did an awesome job grilling it and it had the perfect char. It's been a while since we had a filet this good.We came on a Sunday around 5 and got seated promptly. Service was great and the quality of food is really nice. Vibe is fun and I loved all the kpop they were playing.

We came here for my husband's birthday dinner, so glad we did! We had such a great time! We got a reservation same day! The food was amazing! The meats tasted so fresh and lean. We tried the beef belly, boneless short rib, spicy pork bulgogi, and the beef brisket - all so delicious! The combo meats come with your choice of stew - the kimchi stew was good, egg stew - which was more like an omelet, kimchi pancake - this wasn't my favorite, vegetable skewer, and white rice. The cheese fondue is really tasty, especially when you dip your meats in it! Oh and their potato salad, yum! The menu is more of an a la carte, not an AYCE, but it's worth it and your server cooks your food in front of you on the grill at your table. We ordered a pitcher of beer and a couple bottles of Soju, the pineapple and lychee Soju were the best flavors -- not too sweet! The service was excellent! Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick! She cooked our meal perfectly! The vibe was chill but fun, music playing in the background, and the restaurant was spacious. They have a side room that has bigger tables for larger groups, it fit our group perfectly with 2 grills. Our group was over 6 people so they automatically added a 20% gratuity, which was well deserved.Overall, highly recommend this spot in Chinatown. The food is fire, the experience is awesome, and the service is great!

Came here for the first time on a dinner date with the hubby, and we had a wonderful time. We love Korean bbq, and we wanted to try a non-ayce place. 8oz was recommended by some friends, and it did not disappoint. If you're a party of 2+, you can order from the combo set meals. You can also order from the a la carte menu too of course no matter the party size. We ordered a small combo A, which included beef brisket, seasoned boneless short rib, soy garlic short rib, and grilled pork bulgolgi. The combo came with veggie skewer, kimchi pancake, egg stew, rice, your choice of jjigae (we chose kimchi), and banchan of course. This combo cost only $90 for the two of us, which is actually a steal compared to other places like Hobak. The meat quality was really good. We really enjoyed all the meats. Even the brisket, a commonly lower quality cut of meat, was delicious. My favorite was the boneless short rib, while my husband's was the soy garlic short rib. None of the meats had that old meaty taste that I hate. The assortment of banchan were really good. We really enjoyed the radish sheets and kimchi. We also liked the vegetable skewer. I kind of wish there was more. It included a few pieces of onion, bell pepper, 1 little tomato, 2 pieces of zucchini, a mushroom. I would've loved more zucchini, which was so juicy and refreshing next to the grilled meats. The egg stew and kimchi jjigae were delicious as well. The service was attentive, friendly, overall very good. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were just cleaned and clearly well maintained. Quality of food delicious. We would come back if we weren't in the mood for AYCE. Good quality, good service, good price, overall great experience.
