Picked up takeout and everything was what you would want from a local Mexican restaurant. Everything tasted great and got our order right. Will be coming back!

Great service with a smile, good value for the lunch special (variety, portion for the price, and mediocre flavors like every small town we end up in after hiking), and in the historic area of Monroe (off the main drag by a block). I have eaten there a few times now because it is easy for most hiking compadres and a reasonable price, but I think I'm over it after having a mediocre burrito and a blech chile relleno -- sauce tasted like it had soured. Price or not, it doesn't quite hit the spot and is one of the rare exceptions to my statement of "it's fairly hard to make Mexican food bad..." This isn't "bad" per se, but it isn't great. I'll still branch out and try new places after that last ick. Bottom line: Leaves much to be desired even when post-hike ravenous.

Love, love, love their Mexican food. Will miss going here when I move Service is very good and congenial. It can get loud when there are a lot of people seated and eating... esp. big groups. BUT... the food is worth it!!

We absolutely love Las Tres Marias! Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Monroe. We bring people here all the time and they're always blown away. The service is always wonderful and they're incredibly attentive. The food is always delicious and so filling! Highly recommend trying their margaritas, they are so yummy and so well-priced! Can't wait to go back soon.

Our first visit but it won't be our last. Quaint place with a neat atmosphere and absolutely terrific staff! Food and salsas were excellent as well as my standard sampling of cheese enchilada and beef taco.

How nice that Monroe has such a solid Mexican restaurant. The staff is great! Great service with a warm attitude. The chips, salsas, and warm bean dip that arrive at the table are fresh and hard to stop eating. That bean dip is surprisingly good. I had the camarones a la Diablo, and I loved the spicy and smokey sauce and the mushrooms it contained. Everyone enjoyed their meals from a lunch combo to the fajitas to a burrito. We were too full to have dessert. But after walking around historic little Monroe and stopping in a few shops, we swung back and got churros to go. Finished our walk munching hot, crispy churros (ok, couldn't enjoy the dipping sauces that way - but we didn't miss them! A lovely lunch and afternoon.

The food is great!! From the tortilla chips and salsa and bean dip that is put on the table as soon as you sit down, to the cheese dip (a little zippy spice but super good) and the delicious gigantic portions! We ordered arroz con pollo and the enchiladas crema. Large portions, piping hot temperature, delicious all around. Very nice friendly service. Server, host, cashier and assistants. All nice and attentive. They do serve beer and margaritas as well. Next time you are looking for a filling home cooked Mexican meal in Monroe, Las Tres Maria's is the place to go!!

I hate to make this review but I just have to.We were visiting Monroe for work, we saw this place and decided to stop in.We were the only people in there, and we received overwhelmingly amazing service and greetings from the server and I believe owner? My food was amazing, I had crema enchiladas on the lunch menu (great prices).... until I realized there were ants all over the wall next to us. We were seated near the window so that could be an issue. I am just someone who lost their appetite after noticing that. I didn't say a word, I didn't feel the need everyone was way too nice. If I am ever back in Monroe I would go back simply because of how good of service we had, we felt very welcome and genuinely cared about.. I would eat the food again too the flavors were amazing! Just hope they can fix the ant situation I noticed.
