Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

This five star rating is solely based on the margaritas: They should be the blueprint for all margaritas everywhere. Feeling classic? Lime, on the rocks, with salt. Feeling FUN & FRUITY?! The frozen tropical. I cannot think of a better environment to sip (or, if you're me, gulp) down a marg with the girlies. Tell them Lily sent you! Actually don't, not yet. I've only been once. Maybe in like, 2025, once I've established my reputation as a regular, you can tell them Lily sent you.

We ate here with my father in law. Staff was great and very patient with us since we never been here before. The food was amazing and everything we could have asked for. The environment of this place was pretty nice also. We will definitely come back!!!

This location is very Tex-Mex. It's located near various hotels in the Nashville area so getting there is so convinent. The drinks were delicious. The service was okay but they stay busy. They did their best to keep tables and areas clean. This is a different type of Tex-Mex and not like Texas.

This used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to eat. I remembered why I stopped coming. Upon entrance, Diego starred at me and didn't say a word. So I said "2" . He pulled one menu out and walked away (no indication to follow him ) he went to the table directly behind the host stand; Sat the menu on the table, looked at me and pointed. I went and sat. A few minutes later, someone brought chips and salsa. (The only halfway decent part of the meal) Lucky me, "Mr. Personality" (Diego) is our server. He came back, finally spoke to me to ask what to drink. Through the entire visit, he was unpleasant and gave the vibe if we were bothering him if we had a request. A constant frown on his face. If you like Italian burritos this is the place for you! Nothing about it is Mexican. The little green specs you see in the red sauce, is parsley. Not cilantro. It taste like spaghetti burritos. No exaggeration, TERRIBLE. The red sauce is not a "Mexican" sauce. What made it worse, I ordered a shrimp burrito. (Ever had shrimp with spaghetti sauce? ) Absolutely no seasoning on the hamburger meat in the taco. Extremely bland. Worse Mexican rice I've ever had. Even the salsa couldn't spice these dishes up to taste good. Worse experience ever. I won't make the mistake of wasting my time and money here again.

Not sure why this was voted best Mexican restaurant of 2022, the service was horrible and the food was mediocre. Some coworkers and I went on a Thursday afternoon and waited a ridiculous amount to be served. To top it off, we got the wrong ticket and had to wait for that to get rectified. The location was empty, but I believe they had only 1 waitstaff that I noticed. Our food, which consisted of fajitas with the wrong meat and corn, which was just ok. I just can't see myself recommending this location or giving it another try.

There's nothing better than finding a relaxed Mexican spot to start off your night with a drink, and Las Palmas did just that on our recent visit on a Sunday evening. We ventured in after checking into our nearby hotel for a refreshment, and found the dimly-lit and nicely-spaced bar a great spot for a quiet drink before hitting the town. She settled on a margarita, whereas I had a huge modelo with lime, a perfect respite for the late summer weather.

Continues full steam ahead in a quest to be mediocre in everything. From my first time here til now, it's like they've hired a blandness coach for every aspect of the business. The margs are so boring and middling now. The food has a level of bland which must actively sought out. Now: American "Mexican" food is mostly a mess and what most Americans consider this, is way off authentic Mexican. Having lived in Guanajuato and Durango for most of a decade, true Mexican food isn't this over-spiced, over-seasoned crap you get in the States. But it does have flavor and a soul. And everything here from the queso fundido to the enchiladas to the salsa to the margaritas are horrifically tasteless. You'd have to boil your ground beef to make it as tasteless and boring as the ground beef served here.

Don't dine in! I work across the street and decided to treat myself on a Friday and eat in. My food never arrived after 30 mins. I told the waitress to not bring it and take it back since I couldn't eat it. Never dining in there again. Terrible service. Zero star if I could

The build your own street taco was the best taco I've ever had. I'm vegetarian and they had a cauliflower option which was very nice 10/10
