Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Salsa tastes like they opened a jar of tomato sauce and put in a bowl..chips ok..Food was mediocre .. Service was average..If they don't improve on their salsa I won't be going back..

Came here just to get some tacos before I went shopping, love the look of the restaurant, it's so open and a lot of tables for big groups . The chicken tacos were subpar, but the steak and (1) carnitas did at-least taste like they were cooked recently. They have corn tortillas but they are somehow really thick, maybe not put on a flat top but straight out a pack ? I only wanted 1 of the double up of those they gave me. Margarita, the one that come with the alcohol in it. Try the authentic trucks around town.

Their food was good and their hot salsa was delicious! My ground beef taco tasted homemade. The service was really good and the place is big.

It's almost impossible to leave a review on this current climate of the service industry. I know everyone is trying their best and I have to adjust my expectations. Las Palmas is doing their best but we have resorted to take out because we cannot get service when we dine in. We love the seafood tacos and the lp special. It's our neighborhood Mexican place so we do keep coming back. It just takes a long time to get greeted at the table to get water to go with the chips and salsa.

I've been a customer to this location for 17 years. Tonight we ordered take out. Upon arriving home our order was not checked so we were short 2 meals. When I arrived back at the restaurant the waitress seemed surprised. The restaurant did make it right after I waited a second time for our meal. Upon leaving I asked if they could offer something to me for the inconvenience. The waitress said, "How about some cheese dip." I said Thanks. She came back empty handed saying the manager said NO. I feel for a staff member that sees and knows what to do, but their manager does not trust their judgement. I can live without a cheese dip, but customers and staff deserve better. I've never posted a review, but felt it important to do so regarding this situation tonight. Great Customer Care is still important to grow a business.

Pros: Friendly service. Mexican Coke. Jarritos. Guacamole is good.Cons: Chicken was watery and seemed canned (see pic). Salsa seemed canned (soupy and flavor of storebought salsa put in a blender). Bill around 18 dollars including fountain drink.Dissapointing meal.Service was prompt and friendly, though. Left a good tip.How this place won "Best of Nashville" this year calls the honor into question.

This place is trash. Every time I've been there they don't even come to take my order. I'll sit there for ten minutes and they just walk by. I'll give things three chances and all three times for no reason what so ever they didn't even bother to take my order.Never coming back to this place

From the gate we had excellent service! We ordered the quesa birria tacos and they were FIRE!!!! So so sooooo good! The flavor feltLike an explosion in my mouth and I couldn't be happier! The manager checked to see how we liked everything. Felt like we knew each other immediately. Our server was on point. I can't wait to tell all of my California clients (i do hair) to make their way to this place because it's LEGIT GOOD!

The waitress could not speak English so it was difficult to communicate with her... The food was awful!! I ordered the Chimichanga it came to me burnt.. I was unable to send it back to place another or because I as short on time.. management took a $1.80 off the order

we go here all the time and it's close to home. but the last 2 times we have had issues ans last long was the worst. my mom - cancer survivor is vegetarian and she likes the fajita burritos veggie of course. well last 2 times there was beef which we DO NOT eat. this time the manager (a female) was not kind at all. she did not care, was nonchalant, showed no sympathy or empathy. she then told me not to order from the grill again because meat can come in if the food. to do à la la la cart. not a good manager and not good customer service. was going to go her foe my daughters birthday-10 of us but with the lack of care and not trusting of the food, doubt we will ever go back.
