A few spots in parking lot. A few tables covered outside. Made to order cooking. Good value. 5 breakfast burrito and a quesadilla option for mornings. Horchata asked for extra ice. Red sauce a-ok. Maybe ask for extra napkins. Service friendly. In Old Town. I got the meat lovers breakfast burrito for $9.75, no complaints but next time I'll probably get a special burrito for $8.25 with one of the three meats in the meat lovers (bacon - recommended by others, chorizo which may not be the best choice, or ham which might be better than I expected). The potatoes made the burrito better! Eggs good and cheese not overpowering. Tortilla large and a-ok. Maybe ask them to cut it in half. Other options include a breakfast burrito without meat but with beans and the egge plus cheese for only $5.45. This may be a go to spot for San Diego breakfast burritos, I likely will be back.

While staying in the area, ate here several times. The food is good and there is no shortage of food. Overall the food was a 4 but a few things that bugged me as I ate here a few days in a row.The consistency in quantity was inconsistent. Ordered the fries and burrito and separate times, the amounts were large and the next time noticeable smaller. 3The fries were not crispy and almost as if the oil was not hot enough as they needed a double fry or longer in the oil. 2The rolled tacos were skinny, very little meat as they were rolled tight. 2Positives were the flavors, excellent which is why I went back. They used actual grated cheese as there were some chunks. Also real guac as there were chunks in there as well. 5The prices were not listed, and covered up. I assume due to the new CA rules, it was easier to cover up rather that try and update. 2 ppl at and spent between $18 - $25 for two items.

I have been wanting to try this spot for a while! The salsas were good but there was barley any meat in my breakfast burrito and my wifes cali was very small. Maybe we ordered the wrong things so we will be back to try it again!

The only reason I would give this restaurant a bad review is because they don't have restrooms for customers. The lady at the cash register really told me to go across the street to a bike shop and ask them to use their restroom. How would the bike shop owner feel knowing they're sending there customers across the street to use the restroom. Ridiculous also their salsa and food wasn't that great.

I came for the breakfast burritos, and I left satisfied. They have a chorizo breakfast burrito that has egg, potatoes and cheese in it, and it's perfection. All of the ingredients are well-proportioned, the chorizo isn't overpowering, and the potatoes are shaped into cubes, so you get a hearty chunk of potato with each bite. You see, I am from Southern California but I now live in the Midwest, and whenever I visit SoCal, I make sure to get a breakfast burrito, because I miss them so. You just can't beat a California breakfast burrito. So, now I have a go-to breakfast burrito joint when I'm in this part of San Diego.Dos Brasas is located just outside of Old Town San Diego, in a kind of industrial area not far from the airport. It's open early and open late, it has four parking spaces, outdoor patio seating only, and the people are friendly. The prices aren't too bad either. It's everything you want in a burrito place. I ordered four burritos to go, and it only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. They give you a lot of salsa in little containers, too. They sell other things besides burritos, though, like menudo, tortas, tostadas, etc. I'll have to come back and try their other menu items.

I usually get a bean and cheese burrito and beef tacos. Always good. Consistent preparation and flavor.

A really good breakfast burrito. Almost too large given that, at least in my experience, burritos in SD are not a full meal brick like the mission style burritos in the Bay that I have grown up with. Like most burritos in SD, it's the great flour tortillas that really make them sing.

Dos Brasas does it right, made fresh, great prices, and packed with delicious ingredients. My steak, egg and cheese burrito saved my day after a big night out. What better way to settle your stomach. Also, the bean n cheese may be one of the best value menu item in the city. The salsa is choice as well, the red salsa def has a kick. When you need to survive, Dos Brasas has the delicious life line.

Wonderful food! Amazing crispy beef taco and quesadilla. I cannot wait to go back for more. I absolutely love Mexican food and am always looking to find new places to try. This is one that's worth going to.
