South Boston is lucky to have numerous pizza joints, however Land of Pizza a step above the rest. From the friendly staff taking orders, to quick deliveries without fees, to the taste of most items on the menu, hands down the best overall pizza place in Southie. Over the years, I've had (and my friends have tried) most of the menu from pizzas to sandwiches to burgers to fries. The pizza in particular is better than all other pies in Southie, with options and add-ons galore. They will tailor the pizza to your liking without adding $5/topping like many of the other places around here do. Additionally, their sandwiches and fries are a step above the rest as well. This is my go-to place during football season as they're never too busy and always arrive quickly on deliveries. Overall, stop looking and order here if you need pizza in Southie. 4/5.

Drive past them and don't go. I went b/c free delivery to my hotel. The pizza wasn't crisp, oddly sausage had no flavor. The wings were horrid. They are breaded and lightly fried so there is very little meat and plenty of fatty disgusting skin to pick off. Someone posted a pic of crispy wings--- well, they must've cooked them themselves because they were horrible. Pizza sucked too. Cheese was melted but still so light skinned and squishy crust, it just made ServeSafe requirements. Never never again.

Probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. We had just arrived into town and were starving. We grabbed mozzarella sticks and a cheese pizza. The sticks were fine but the pizza was awful. Sauce was sweet, cheese wasn't good quality. The only redemption was the staff was friendly and the service was quick. Overall place was clean and as I mentioned, the staff was friendly. Parking was across the street and fairly easy.

Picture doesn't not show how fried to a crisp these were you needed a knife to cut thru the crust they were that overcooked! Tried to blame it on they get them frozen and they come like this I requested to have a new order dropped for less minutes than they use and received a firm no. Owner doesn't care about customers only thinks of money - refused to cook fresh order of chicken wings that were served burnt and were too hard to eat - karma will catch up to this one sooner or later!

Always order food from here they are superb and it's always fresh and warm when we order take out. Staff is amazing. Cleanliness is top notch when I've been inside. Great choice for take out or looking to just sit where they have self seating available booths.

Stick with the pizza, I love it, but that other stuff...never again! I ordered a hamburger and fries, the fries sucked and the hamburger was bland; and the steak tips were embarrassing.

Gave FiVE stars In the past but my recent order dropped to a two, second star for UberEatsPizza was under-cook that I had to put in oven Buffalo tenders were okay Bite size tenders ( alfredo is way bettR) Mainly we were disappointed in the their steak bomb. ( I expected loaded of steak with pepper and onions and mushrooms but only seen specks) also it weren't fill from end-to end. Along with their topping selections which should be extended with no option of extra cheese so My sub was overly dry flavorless (luckily I had mayo andketchup )Overall for the price I paid not enough taste nor flavor would bring me back

DELIVERY REVIEW:Ordered delivery from here for a work party I was having. They came early which was nice and were perfectly friendly.FOOD: Ordered 3 pizzas: Cheese, Frankie's Favorite pizza (veggie), and Lando's Special pizza (basically a meat lovers + veggies). Pizza was pretty good, nothing special. Lando's was probably my favorite (but I'm partial towards meat). Mozzarella sticks - I mean, mozzarella sticks will be good no matter what but the cheese wasn't warm enough to take a bite and have it ooze, it basically came out of the fried shell when I bit in.Salads - we ordered 2 garden salads and 1 Grecian kitchen salad. All came on a base of iceberg which I was not expecting and didn't love. No one even touched the garden salads because it was essentially iceberg with thickly-sliced tomatoes. Lesson learned: don't get salad from these types of pizza places.Not my favorite pizza place experience. They also didn't leave any forks for the salads we ordered so we had to scavenge around for them. A miss there.

Awesome gem of a place. Fabulous food. SO glad everything else on the strip was a "need to have a reservation" kind of place and we didn't know that in advance, because we landed here. We've decided the rest of our meals while visiting Boston will be at Land of Pizza.
