Lambert's Rainbow Market

I remember seeing Lambert's on Phantom Gourmet and Dave Andelman describing this place as "Every sandwich at Lambert's is definitely a winner". I'll give Lambert's this much, it satisfied my craving for a pastrami and an Italian sub. Plus the subs and sandwiches here are hearty and plenty filled. I can get 2 more meals out of the pastrami and Italian I got.The hot pastrami was on a soft French roll and the pastrami was sliced thin, yet piled high with melted Swiss and some mustard. The taste of the warm, fatty, and briney pastrami hit the spot. Is this the best pastrami I've tasted, no, but it makes the cut.The cold Italian is tucked soundly on a soft French roll and layered high with Italian cold cuts including, salami, capicola, pepperoni, mortadella, and soppressata, with provolone, and assembled with lettuce, tomato, hots, and pickles. Thanks to Lucy's who had an Italian eggroll which was tasty, made me crave an Italian sub. If you are looking for some quick eats, Lamberts is the place, not only do they serve sandwiches, but available are salads, soups, and calzones.

Excellent service from the staff! Great selection of premade food and regular food and drinks. Full service place with a great selection and staff.

I am a frequent visitor to this establishment. This place has the best salad bar with a wide selection. There fruits are always fresh and delicious. Today I ordered a small fruit platter and it was ready in ten mins for pick up. All the fruits were delicious! The staff are friendly and the establishment is always clean.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! I come here for the meats and seafood. Best prices in the area and light years better in quality than any standard grocery store. I love how attentive the guys are behind the counter. They're really friendly. They take their time giving you what you need and they actually know quite a bit about the stuff. Lots of different cuts and types of meat. From beef, shrimp, scallops, salmon, pork, bacon--you've got everything you need. P.s. I'm Argentine, so I know a thing or two about meat.

Favorite deli in the area. Tonight got the chicken ceasar wrap which usually comes with pulled chicken but asked for chicken cutlet. DELISH!

The best steak I ever made was purchased here. They also have a huge salad bar which I want to try some day. Very entry parking but on weekend very busy. They have carts if you are buying a bunch of things and believe me you might go in for a couple things but you will buy a couple of bagfuls. Beautiful veggies and the price is low. They beat BJS price on fruit. A very large deli although I didn't buy from it.Try this place you will enjoy shopping here.

First time trying this place ! We get our New York strip steaks from here they are $4.99/lb what a steal !!! We also have tired the Italian and chicken parm Calazones ! Delicious!!!

Don't walk, run! If you're craving for a good thanksgiving sandwich, you must try it here. Lambert's turkey gobbler is a must try. Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce (I usually add bacon for a nice crisp) and provolone cheese, it's so good! I got mine on a sun roll but ima try it in a wrap next time and see how that is.Highly recommend!

Freaking rock stars!Wanted to get a gift basket for friends coming into town for the weekend. A Sunday delivery in Roslindale. They had two days to get this done. I called them, answered first time, confirmed the basket and delivery. Today arrived and it's massive. 75 lbs of goodness. Very tasty fruit and cookies.
