I think I decided to pay this a visit on a wrong Sunday, there were only 10 stalls open. At least one of them was Seattle Pops and I got some cherries to go! I can say the heatwave played a factor on why it was lackluster. I'll give it another go when the weather is much nicer. Then we shall see!

I just went there today for some afternoon strolling while checking out the complex Third Place Commons and it's pretty solid!Walking through the space, alternating the resting back arms & side-by-side arms, my perusing eyes veered here... veered there... veered everywhere. My particular focus is generally keeping eyes peeled for all the goodness that is organic (everything from beans & greens, to tomatoes & potatoes). 2nd priority is any vegan treats worth trying and any low/minimal waste candles (such as naked votives; sorry concrete & glass but you're only a nice rare treat).Today I managed a small haul of produce (bean varieties from Garden Treasures Nursery & Organic Farm and more different beans from Alvarez Organic Farms - both had nice staff who shared eating ideas); oh and a small sample of ginger peach muffins from Liberated Foods. As far as my list, very solid! Next time planning to get some greens and garlic. They are limited with vegan eats and home decor votives (which are super rare in these markets I've seen, if at all).

I am so grateful to have a farmer's market so nearby. They are opened on Sundays between 11:00am and 4:00pm.There are fresh offerings of fruit and veg...and also other edibles such as cheese, pasta, jams, etc. You can buy a bouquet of beautiful fresh flowers for much less than the flower shops charge. Stop by Collins Family Farms for THE best peaches, nectarines, apples, and plums...I don't shop anywhere else for fruit. I wish the market had a few more munchies and ready to eat food offerings, but it is always fun coming here. The vendors are so nice and accommodating. How cool to have such fresh produce straight from the farm.

Finally! A farmers market in the NorthEnd that I can get to! Be still my heart. Fresh, organic produce! Bright, beautiful cut flowers! Music from street performers to lighten the day. My only difficulty is finding enough room in my refrigerator to put all the veggies and fruits. Sunday afternoons have a purpose in my life now. I can rest easy at night.

This farmers market is located in Lake Forest Park at Third Place Commons. It takes place on Sundays in the parking lot of this shopping mall. It is next to a side building in the complex. As far as farmers markets go, I found it to be middling. Pretty similar in terms of the amount of vendors at my local farmers market at Crossroads in Bellevue. Typical assortment of fruit & veggie stands. Though they do have more than one cheese vendor, a pasta stand and this is the only farmers market that a favorite macaron purveyor of mine, Lilli-Pilli offers its wares at. There are also food vendors offering items like ice cream and Mexican food.Parking is easy as there is plenty of space. As far as farmers markets go, this is an okay one. But there seem to be less farmers markets in the north end, so it may well be worth visiting if you live in parts nearby.

Cute market while you happen to be browsing at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park on a Sunday between 11a-4p. About 2 dozen stalls, a CSA, the pasta guy w/ his trusty cooler, this awesome pepper jelly lady (Paula's) who lets you eat as many samples as you want, natural food bars, fruits, plants/roses, couple seafood, cheese...and most importantly...GELATO.For a while we went here for our weekly grocery. The CSA (Full Circle Farms) is great for getting our greens (trendy salad mix, spinach, zucchini), while other booths would provide the apples/cherries/snap peas. It's a small selection though, so we would typically supplement with a regular grocery store. Still nice browsing, definitely has that local neighborhoody feel. :)

My impression of this farmer's market is less a rational cognitive process than a swirl of sense memories and emotional reactions, as follows:- That one vendor who hits on my mom. Ambivalence. Queasiness is not the food's fault - sorry, farmer's market. - Dodging cars in the pedestrian-unfriendly parking lot on my way to the market, praying for my life. Terror!- Cart of apparently-local ice cream treats which I've never tried yet. Burning desire. - Checking out the young yuppie guy whom I suspect spends his weekdays computer programming or similar, but who appears here in flannel and overalls to sell produce out of burlap displays. Amusement.- Finding local, sometimes organic produce, then realizing I have to figure out how to cook the beets and summer squash I've just impulsively bought. Joy followed by trepidation.

This is a fairly small market with mostly veggies on offer. The highlight for me is the selection of floral bouquets( two or three vendors, depending on the day). Some of them are very nicely done and they have $10 and $20 options. I have purchased a couple of them and they last quite a long time.

Best market around with plenty of locally grown fruit and veggies. Features also a nice mix of locally made products like salsa, hummus, sweet treats, wines and more. Fun place to shop on a Sunday afternoon.

I've been to LFP FM a few times this season and it's been fun. It's near my house so it's a quick visit for after church on sundays. I like the ample amount of space for parking. There's quite a bit of vendors here so the variety is a bit larger. I love getting berries from Sidhu farms since their prices are better than the other Berry stands. There are 3 food vendors - fried dumplings, pizza, & quesadillas/tamales. Theres also a Popsicle stand as well as a few pastries and bread. There's a wine tasting vendor, local/organic kombucha, & cider/beer. The best part about this FM is the local and organic kombucha by Shen Zen Tea. They have decaffeinated kombucha which is amazing! Overall, I like the feel and variety LFP FM has compared to Shoreline's FM. I will most likely be back in a couple of weeks.
