You will drive by this place and never give it a second thought. Looks almost abandoned from the outside, made of plywood and prayers. But... once you enter... the same thing. Blaring Mexican music, a small bar and huge covered patio. It's like being transported back in time or to another country - which is good. The food was amazing. The chips were perfection. The homade guac is killer, and the portions are huge! Two to go boxes were needed. Go. Eat. Be happy. This place will knock your socks off for flavor and authentic Mexican food

Cuando lo pedí, actuó como si me lo hubiera devuelto, y volvió con él 5 minutos más tarde. Muy raro y nada profesional.I would give a 0 star if it was an option. Food is good and when the food is good We don't mind paying for it or tipping waiters. BUT!!!! Be aware and careful . For some reason they think they are allowed to write their own % tip want when they bring out your bill! And they even add your total for you. When I confronted waiter Pablo, He said that how they do it there. I told him I disagree with him he was not collecting 40$ From our 4 plates and appetizers plates he brought to us. FYI Don't be fooled by signing your bill and to top it off he never returned my card back with our bill. When I asked for it he acted like he brought it back to me, and came back with it 5min later. Very sketchy

A hidden gem for Mariscos lover; true Mexican flavors, and actually a lot more than seafood which is great for picky families. The service must be the best part, they make you feel welcome, which is something not very common lately. Definitely coming back soon.

Everything was so goooooooood we loved everything we ordered and even the chips and salsa were delicious. KARLA took really good care of us and we will be back for sure. It was nice and worth the drive, we live two hours away.

We go here all the time on Taco Tuesday today they tried to pull a fast one ! We ordered our tacos and 2 ice waters. They brought us out each a bottled Aquafina water which I thought was weird. There was no mention of being charged for water which they never do been going here for years. Got to register and they tried charging us almost $7 for the 2 bottled waters . They said their tap was out and had to give us bottles , well how about you make your customers aware they will be charged excessively for bottled water when they order? I refused to pay for the water and still gave her a 25% tip just to make a point not that she deserved it! If this becomes a regular thing we won't be coming here anymore ridiculous!

Food is very good and service in the Chula Vista location also.The location in spring valley has issues with flies inside the front section of their restaurant because when they open their windows these don't have screens and then fly in and fly around your table and food. This location does have good food it's unfortunate that you can't enjoy it as much.

I really like this place so I decided to try their breakfast but sadly I was disappointed. I ordered chilaquiles verdes but was given red and I ordered carne asada on the side which was the only good thing about the meal. When the food came out the beans were cold and the eggs and chilaquiles were lukewarm at best. I also found what looked like an eyelash in my food and brought it to the attention of the staff but nothing was done. I asked for more coffee but I guess after the eyelash thing they were done with me. I would definitely not recommend going early as the staff is rude and inattentive. The patio did have a nice breeze however. I wasn't looking to get comped but when the food you ordered is wrong and cold you would think they would try to correct the issue not to mention the hair that was in the chilaquiles.

Don't bother looking further for another mariscos place. Your search stops here. The molcajetes are all so good, can't go wrong ordering one of those and they're more than enough to share. The tacos are all really good too. You know a place takes pride in their food when their sides are sooo good on their own. The beans & rice aren't just place holders for the plates, they're genuinely so good. Service is also great, super attentive and bring you whatever you need and ask for. The patio seating is super nice too, it's secluded with a nice view and ambiance, with plants surrounding. Makes you forget you're in spring valley. Must try

Traditional Mexican mariscos spot, over all the ambiance was good and service was great. The portions are pretty big, my kid couldn't finish her kids taco plate lol. My husband pointed out that the food was a bit greasy, but it ain't Mexican if it asking greasy let's be honest lol. I came during the week, but I heard they have live band on the weekends. The restaurant is small and parking can be limited, but over all it's a good spot for Mexican and mariscos. The restrooms are located outside and around the restaurant building which was odd, but no biggie.

this was the absolute worst service I have ever had. The waitress didn't come to our table for 25-30 mins at A time and spent time with other tables that were sat after us. We almost waited an hour and 30 mins for our food for a restaurant on a no wait.
