Came here today on a recommendation from the owners of Urbn sk8... It took a while to find parking on the same side of the street. When we were seated inside, I noticed that some people parked across the street at Manolo's grocery and walked over to the cafe. The front door of the restaurant looked blocked by tables, and checking it quickly, it didn't open easily. I walked around and saw another opening that was blocked by a table, I'm assuming it was for pick-up orders. We walked around the corner from that, and there were plenty of tables outside the building. I just wasn't sure where to go since there wasn't any obvious signage, so we just stood there as all eyes were on us but no one acknowledged us. After a minute, I checked another door, looked in, and it seemed like it was an employee area, so I went back out. After another minute or so of waiting... being stared at by customers...my son finally flagged someone down and asked, how do we get seated? The girl says you can just sit down anywhere or if you want to go inside, it was through the door that I had checked last.We pick a table inside and order Menudo Rojo, Machaca, and a carne asada burrito. The waitress said we could have tap water or buy bottled water, so we just asked for coffee and Jarritos. The chips and salsa at the table were outstanding. Food took only 5 minutes or so to come out. The only thing was that they only gave us one set of utensils. The three of us shared them and I waited probably 5 minutes for the servers to notice or come out from the kitchen area to ask for another set. The menudo, unfortunately, was not palatable to my daughter. She did like the hominy and the consomme though. The carne asada burrito was just a flour tortilla and meat, nothing else besides pico de gallo on the side. My Machaca was superb, full of flavor, and I ate all of it. I did like my Machaca a lot, so I might be back if I was in the area. Heads up, this place is cash only, so you know it's OG.

Best menudo in town. Early arrival suggested the menudo will sell out on Saturday and Sundays. This place has been around for years. If you're going to get menudo take your own pot to take home. Pricey but definitely worth it and every bite.

Pozole is delicious.Service is lacking- I was sat and no one ever took my order nor did they bother to offer me coffee or water while I waited . So I went to cashier to ask for order to go . Waiter was leaning on the kitchen bar preoccupied thinking day dreaming idk- but unacceptable. I will not be coming back. Cash only type of place

Had pozole on a hot day. It was so good and it helped me cool down. The salsa was delicious also. My friend had the bistec ranchero. I tried it and it was good too. Service was good. Servers were very nice. Bathroom is tiny and door is hidden by the exit door so hard to find if you don't ask someone. Make sure you bring cash. They also have a small parking lot and there's street parking available! I'll be back to try other dishes.

Expensive, food nasty and I didn't even want to give it any stars at all. They serve you in very small cups with no refills and a plate with very little food. My daughter's eggs were raw. And when I got up to go pay, an older woman which I think was the owner followed me asking if I had paid already making me and my family offended. Never again am I coming back here, they serve you garbage!

Went in on a rainy day and only had to wait 5 minutes. The service was good. We didn't notice it was cash only until we had already ordered, but thankfully there was an ATM inside the restaurant with a $2.50 fee. The food was okay...ordered chilaquiles, flavor was nothing spectacular.

My favorite place to eat menudo!Menudo is the best but customer service, when picking up or ordering to go has always been the worst! They walk by you, ignore you! You can stand there for 15 minutes and be ignored by all of them!!! And if you try to grab their attention they still pretend not to see you or hear you!!Customer service here is horrible!

Decided to Try this place out today for the first time thought I'd give it a shot even with the mixed reviews on this place. Ordered a machaca burrito ($11/12$) . Most of the Meat was very burnt , like hard crispy burnt. Had I not been so hungry I wouldn't of ate it. Probably won't be back again.
