An absolutely amazing dinner! My boyfriend and I recently had our date night here and we were blown away.First, I would absolutely recommend the caviar nest! The pasta was soooo rich and buttery. Though the portion was on the smaller size, it was so filling. I would also recommend getting the smallest amount of caviar - any more and I could imagine it overpowering the pasta. We also ordered the duck which was an insanely huge serving. It came with some crepes and veggies on the side and it was incredible. For dessert, we got the french toast with a brûlée exterior. It was so gooey on the inside and the cinnamon ice cream was a perfect pairing.I would come back in a heartbeat!

Not worth the hype at all. Decor was horrible, not sure who thought floral Sage Green nursing home motif with all plastic flowers all over the place was "cute" felt like a Florida nursing home.Food: Salty. Does the chef smoke cigars because every single item was salted to death, I never complain about salt! The French Onion reduced soup was salty and the bread was just too hard, like others complained. The crab croquette, not exaggerating, were the size of a tatter tot 2 bites or less ($11) I got 2 for $22 I just feel cheated there period. Signature filet (still over salted piece of meat) was a decent cut of meat and was actually cook perfectly like the rest of the food, but the flavor profile was just salty in general.Dessert was the French toast crème brûlée was the best thing about the entire meal. The service like everyone said was great and attentive, we had a fun waitress. $250 later, would I come again? NO I have to say something about the horrible uniforms, long sleeve in the summer, and they look uncomfortable and just an ugly color and horrible tailoring....

Food: the foie gras bite was definitely unique and very flavorful, worth the 11 dollars for just a bite, combines rich earth flavors with umami. Cocktail is nicely done. The rest of the food were good, but not outstanding. Free bread was nice! Although it wasn't as crunchy as I expected. Service: people are so nice. Free ice cream for birthday! They don't do walk in reserve unless you go physically and wait for a table, then it's first come first serve. Definitely west loop prices. Ambience: pretty but very loud :( I thought it is a restaurant but it's more of a bar vibe. Definitely go with friends, not ideal for a date in my opinion as you practically have to shout to be heard

I came here for my birthday dinner with a big group of girls, and everything was outstanding! From the service to being so accommodating with my big group, it was perfect. We had some rounds of drinks- my smoke and spice cocktail, queen marie cocktail, and espresso martini were all very delicious and refreshing on this hot day. We started with French onion dip and cauliflower au gratin. Both were delicious shareables. I also had the gem salad, flat iron, and fries to share as my meal. Quality, taste, and portions were perfect. I also got a nice sweet cinnamon ice cream scoop with a sparkler for my birthday. Such a beautiful restaurant that lives to its high standard in west loop. It's difficult to come across trendy restaurants like this that do it this well for the price point!

This place is definitely a scene and a very loud one but the food slaps and it lives up to the hype.We didn't have a single bad bite between the tuna crudo, the escargot, the caviar nest, and the prime flat iron with frites. Caviar nest def the MVP though. Couldn't really hear each other talk but tbh I wanted some quiet time with the caviar nest anyway.

Totally worth the hype! This place is stunning and everything is very aesthetic. The waiters are friendly and everything came out really fast! The only thing is we had 4 people and our waiter recommended 3 main dishes and a lot of apps. We did one main and 5 apps and it was more than enough food!Bread service was great, the butter is delicious. The crab croquettes were my favorite of the night. Sooo much flavor and so fresh. Escargot was good, tasted like mushrooms. Oysters are some of the biggest oysters I have seen and they were absolutely amazing. The little gem salad was also amazing so much flavor with some of the best avocados. The fritters were good, nothing crazy, great texture with a red pepper dipping sauce. Mussels were fabulous they came with a sauce which was sooooo good. Lastly the gnocchi was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth, delicious!!I am now obsessed with la serre and can't wait to return!

Truly gorgeous venue that delivered a great birthday dinner. Right off the bat, you see the effort put into the space including it's affiliated venue of Bar La Rue on the lower floor. Makes it special for a nice occasion or a date to impress. Service from beginning to end was warm and attentive, no real issues. A very French forward menu with some interesting twists such as the amuse and caviar services. For drinks the espresso martini did not disappoint although the St. Tropez was just ok. I would probably stick to the wine. For food we started of with some expensive amuse bites at $11 each. The duck profiterole was good but the crab croquette was phenomenal so we got another one. Then followed that up with the French onion fondue which was delicious. Although I would prefer some softer bread. I understand a baguette has a hard crust but some of the inside was a bit too tough. Had to try the caviar service so we got the petite for $55(15gram). It's served on top of a creamy and lemony pasta dish. Very creamy and delicious, would recommend. For the entrees we got the chicken and the radiatore bacon pasta. Both were good but nothing too special. It was my birthday so I was treated to a delicious creme brulle French toast with sparklers! Overall it's a fun place and cool environment for a special occasion.

Wow. It's so beautiful on the inside. They did a great job with decor. The only thing I didn't like was when I arrived, the hostess wouldn't seat me even with a reservation until my entire party arrived but she did for another party. There isn't much space to wait around the bannister. My server was amazing and attentive. You're constantly getting water refills. Food came out very quickly.Food was pretty good. I'd say the only thing that was meh was the crab croquette since it was $11/each for a tiny little bite so I'd skip all the amuse. Fries were great with the aioli. Escargot was fine but maybe it's because of the lemon that made it less garlicky than I'm used to. Beef tartare was sour from the pickles but still delicious. Duck was good but I did wish it was crispy... although I do understand that it takes a long time to prep and there isn't much notice. There were just some real fatty pieces that were hard to separate out. Apple tart for dessert was amazing, especially the crust and ice cream it came with.

The greenhouse martini is a must try. The blue cheese olives are so good! The gnocchi was soft and delicious with every bite. The server was great! We also got the little gem salad, that was good. The server plated the whole table which was nice.I would go back just for this martini alone. It was sooo good!

I was very surprised when my mom was able to snag a reservation on a friday evening! But she said she booked a month in advance so keep that in mind when planning on dining here since this place is fairly new and popular. The overall vibes inside are so cute and decorated with florals. Their menu offers french/mediterranean cuisine. For the table, we ordered the fondue, croquettes, escargot, and the mussels all of which were very good and enough for 6 people to share. This was my first time trying escargot and it was delicious because it was soaked in this savory green butter sauce. The mussels were very good too and they recommend you take bread and soak it in the sauce it's cooked in. For my main, I chose the infamous caviar nest that I've seen all over social media. I didn't think I would liked it as much as I did cause I thought the caviar would give it a fishy taste (which was not the case). The pasta sauce was rich and lemony and really pulled the dish together. The caviar had no taste and just added texture.
