La Santa

This is a hidden gem in North Phoenix. They've been open about a year and have a food truck that has been around for about 3 years. We popped in after dinner and drinks just to see their place. It was nothing to rave about ambiance wise, but that is not the main attraction. We ordered the Quesobirria tacos to go. 3 for $12. I forgot to get a picture when we got home as they disappeared in seconds. Three tacos filled with mounds of beef and cheese accompanied by a tasty broth for dipping. Gordos Tacos has been our go to For Birria, but this is closer to home and is a good competitor for Gordos. This will be our go to now since it is closer to home. Will have to try other items on the menu next time we are there.

Having a fun staycation with the wife at the tapatio cliffs we decided to try this local spot and was very excited as i love seafood.The excitement ended when we had to order outside and pay before getting into the ac in az at 110 outside. Followed by being told they had no adult beverages. I will say stuff was very nice but felt like they had little control of what we could do.Taco i would say are standard didn't blow us away by any means, my wife was scared of the saint in the establishment (santo muerte). Had to leave early.Over all food was a 5 mariscos are sweet guessing they put ketchup with out asking. Wont be back sorry good luck

Nothings bad nothings overly good.Huge portions great serviceAverage tacos, yummy with lime and a bit bland without lime, green salsa tastes like water, red is yummy ish.Wont buy again, but edible food.

Honestly no complaints.... Fresh and delicious food, clean place, great service! We ended up here after walking out of Taco King! The birria pizza is amazing! And no dirty flies like taco king !

Over price for being a very simple concept and how convenient they don't put a price on the menu ? Hard to trust this places .

Best birria and quesadillas in Phoenix! Everything here is absolutely delicious. My go to order is the quesabirria tacos with consommé and my husband gets the asada quesadilla all for $30. Fast and friendly service and the food is always hot and fresh. They have tamales, tacos, burritos, agua frescas, churros, and more. The churros are sooooo good too and a must add on your order. They used to have a food truck outside the main building, but they recently renovated the inside of the restaurant and use the food truck to travel to other locations. Enter from the front of the building! The inside is sleek and clean with lots of tables and booths to enjoy your meal. I absolutely love La Santa and need everyone in Phoenix to try them out!

Man is this good. Typically they are stationed outside of the business with a foodtruck for your orders...but as of lately you can now eat and order inside. There's nothing here that I've tried that wasn't good. Everything here is a hit but my FAV is the queso birria tacos and you MUST order the consume with it. Be prepared for a nap after all the glorious food you'll eat

This place...WOW. HIDDEN GEM. Chill atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring the food and drinks to the table. The quesabirria is one of their popular menu items FOR A REASON. That shit MELTS in your mouth. And when you dip it in the hot steamy JUICE....oh my gah. I couldn't even speak. The only reason I wanted to open my mouth was to put MORE FOOD in it. If you're not eating at LA SANTA you are WRONG. BEST Mexican food in Phoenix, hands down. Mundo took care of us and he was the best!! WE WILL BE BACK.

Food was nasty , quesabirria tacos are served with a bunch of oil, literally they drip oil. The burritos de pastor doesn't taste like pastor , has the taste of chorizo , you are better off eating a hot and spicy from McDonald's, or even just eating at home . The food was over priced for their quality, never betraying taco boyz again
