Inside of Feta-Za'tar Scone ($4.90) - very buttery and cheesy
Inside of Kouign-Amann ($5.20) - pretty good, denser and significantly sweeter than the croissant
Fig-Walnut Sourdough Bread ($6.50 for half loaf) - good but I preferred the regular sourdough
Inside of French Croissant ($4.70) - pretty good, slightly on the sweeter side. I preferred the breads to the viennoiseries
The Sourdough Bread ($6.00 for half loaf) - good. Nice light, chewy texture. Tastes quite "white": made w/ bread and stone ground ww flour
Madagascar vanilla bean pound cake ($4.80) - good (very vanilla-y and dense) but quite pricey
Eggplant pizza ($8) - not great and very expensive
Feta-Za'tar Scone ($4.90), Kouign-Amann ($5.20), Croissant ($4.70), Cherry Oat Cookie ($3), 1/2 Fig-Walnut Loaf ($6.50), 1/2 Sourdough ($6)
Drink menu
Kouign-Amann ($5.20), French Croissant ($4.70), Cherry Oat Cookie ($3)

This is not only the best neighborhood bakery, but may be the best in Cambridge, maybe in greater Boston... The croissants are the best available this side of the Atlantic! And, what can be better than to go to a small, locally owned bakery, run by the owners who are lovely people. I feel lucky they opened near my home, my neighbors do, too. And, they have outdoor seating under umbrellas. Or, you can just take it right home. I stopped by, just before travelling to see my niece, bought 1/2 doz chocolate croissants for her family. One of the owners gave me some that were still warm, just out of the oven, and put them in a box -- telling me to keep the lid open. They smelled great driving all the way to the end of the Mass Pike! When I arrived, hours later, they were perfect. They have many beautiful baked items and great coffees and teas -- plus, hot chocolate to die for. Enjoy a locally baked treat, baked by nice people who welcome new customers and remember their regulars.

Absolutely phenomenal bakery! Ordered the orange pumpkin cookies, brown butter chocolate chip cookie, marzipan orange scone, Ellamonde cookie, iced masala latte and the Sunday only treat: Brioche Frite. Everything was 5 stars for sure. Definitely go on a Sunday to get the Brioche Frite - it is the perfect combination of a little crunch / dough surrounded by the most incredible custard. This is definitely one of my top bakeries in the Boston area!

I absolutely LOVE this place. Everything I've tried here had been delicious and always left me wanting more. The service is great, Coffee is delicious, and the pastries... are heavenly. I can honestly say that anything you order from there, you will not be disappointed!Parking is very limited, but there's street parking (which could be a hit or a miss). And I recommend going early in the morning because it gets packed fairly quickly.

I had one of the most delicious croissants of my life here! La Saison is a very cute bakery with tasty pastries and fun drinks. They also have day old pastries marked down. We got a slice of matcha pound cake, which was ok but nothing mind blowing, and as I said a truly fantastic croissant. The bakery itself is pretty small but a very cute, cheery, friendly place. There's nice outdoor seating to eat your pastry and sip your drink for a bit. Definitely stop by, especially if you're in the area on a nice day!

Awesome bakery! Can't say enough good things about this place. The pastries are top notch with unique twists as well as a plethora of great coffees and teas. We came here on a late Sunday morning, a small line was there but it moved quick. We got the fruit and pistachio croissants as well as matcha pound cake and cheese scone. The pastries were all very delicious and paired very well tied our iced coffees. The pastries were not overly sweet and the croissants had nice flake to them. This will definitely be our go to weekend pastry shop. The space is small inside with no seating but plenty of outdoor seating as well as onsite and street parking. Highly recommend if you are looking something more unique than your neighborhood Tatte!

I came here after a week long conference in nearby Waltham to try their gluten free Hazelnut Cookie, while the Kouign Amman and chocolate croissants are recommended in the neighboring areas of Somerville and north Cambridge, and the Pain aux Raisins that I got to share later. The Persian touches including the rug on the floor and the Thursday noon Barbaris bread along with the variety of coffee creations evoke an ethnic vibe. Jackie, the girl at the front addressed everyone by name and was very friendly.Outside, there are tables and an igloo.

I saw lots of reviews raving about LA SAISON's pastries and they did not disappoint! I tried their pain au chocolat, kouign amann, and pesto gruyere scone. The pain au chocolat and kouign amann tasted super fresh and were nice and flaky on the outside, although they both were not as flaky on the inner layers. The pesto gruyere scone was definitely my favorite of the three - the texture was amazing and the pesto and gruyere flavors were present but not overpowering. I also got a French deux latte, which was nice and milky. Perfect for my personal preference, but maybe not for someone who prefers something a lot more coffee forward. They have plenty of dog-friendly patio seating, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nice weather day!

The almond croissant... life changing. A treat that should go down in pastry history. The chocolate chip cookie... I feel confident in saying you're guaranteed to get a bite with high quality chocolate in it every time. I can't wait to try more treats from here. My Tehran fog was good, too.

The shop had such an enticing aroma that I had to try a wide selection of their treats. The chai oat chocolate chip cookie had the perfect chew and just the right amount of chai infusion. I was a particular fan of the feta zaatar scone -- though definitely on the salty side, I enjoyed the savory combination of flavors packed into this pastry. Their pizza had a great chew, and the pizza sauce was just the right amount of sweet. I also enjoyed their fudge cookies -- they were indulgent for sure, but in a good way. Service was friendly and fast. The shop had a selection of outdoor tables outside as the interior was just an ordering area. I would definitely come back for more.
