La Quinta Grill Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Every time I come to San Diego, I catch breakfast here. I've eaten three times all three different occasions in contrary to other Yelp reviewers are really enjoy this place.First of all, they must have Mexican ninjas working in the kitchen, because our food came out in about 7 and 1/2 minutes and it was hot. Multiple staff members, stop by our table to ensure constant satisfaction.Their Cafe de Olla is so freaking good, don't add anything to it, no milk no sugar. It's delicious.The machaca breakfast is phenomenal. I don't order it with the scrambled eggs, I like my eggs over medium, however the potatoes are really good and according to my wife the beans are delicious.My wife ordered the chorizo breakfast and said it was really good also.

Zero professionalism. Terrible service, the managers are rude and mistreat customers just because they go to another team. If they don't want to have fans of team, don't show the gamesWorst service ever

The food is soooo good that the servers don't even ask if you like it or how was it, they know the quality is so good, not even a see you again, cause they know you'll be back!!!

Food was good Mariachi best Service sucked. No waitress and they were slow. I feel that our waitress was tortillas lady. Manager looked lostAmbience fabulous. Mariachi

Contrary to the previous recent reviews in which others have had such poor experience, I decided to give this establishment a try at 6pm due to its close proximity. I went in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Food, service and ambiance were great!I had ordered ceviche de camarón for an appetizer, carne en su jugo for main entree, and waters to consume. Waters came in glass cups with lemon and ice. Waiter had brought chips and two salsas. App and entrée were brought in a timely fashion. I initially thought I had ordered too much food but managed to put it all away (including the delicious chips). Around 7pm, the bar staff begin to show up and prep the other half of the restaurant for the night. I didn't stick around but I'm sure it's a good time.

the service was okay. But after a while the server named yesenia started charging us stuff with out approval and adding tabs plus double charging my friends she thought we were entoxicated i do not recommend this place .plus she was rude making my other friends pay just for her to shut her mouth.

The food was prepared to my liking. The service was on par. The ambiance was ok, nothing special.I would go again just for the food.

We went Friday night to celebrate a birthday. We spent over $200 on dinner, then went to the bar. Apparently, laughing loudly with friends is frowned upon, so we were kicked out by management for being "intoxicated and rowdy," when in fact we were barely ordering our second drinks at the bar. This place is ridiculous. If you want to laugh with friends, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!! ZERO STARS!!

If i could leave no stars i definitely would really bad service especially the managers and not the first time this has happend definitely my last time going here should be yours to.Arriba Las P*tas Águilas.

The food is good, the service however is not. A cockroach fell from the cieling on our table after we had finished our appetizer and service declined from there. They moved us table but no one offered anything to compensate. The restaurant was pretty empty with only two other tables being occupied and we had 5 empty drinks on the table for half an hour with no one coming by to check on us. I finally went to go look for our server (who we hadn't seen since she dropped off our drinks, she never came back and we had 2 different people come by after, one to take our food and the other for additional drinks) they finally sent it over and charged us for the whole ticket. Even after I complained about the situation not a single person apologized for the incident or the service.
