Walked in to La Perla this past Saturday while in town for an event around the corner. It was D.E.A.D. inside - just another couple sitting at the bar.La Perla has an awesome space and seems like a great place to catch a game or listen to music. I can't remember our bartender's name but she was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful.Drinks were great. Sadly, the food we ordered was not to our liking. We tried the trio platter and for our three items, we chose bean dip/chips, onion rings and jalapeno poppers. The onion rings were extremely greasy, the jalapeno poppers were average and bean dip tasted more like can of Rosarita beans were served up as a dip. We really did not enjoy the food at all. I'm sure we could have made better choices though. Bar food can be decent but this was not.So great location, nice staff and mediocre food.

I'm torn as I like the vibe and staff but sadly the last two visits have been disappointing and the band leader literally told my father that we shouldn't come when he tried to tell them that the levels are off and it's hurting people's ears as we saw multiple people with ear plugs and covering their ears in pain on Wednesday night after spending $100 for two beers, four drinks, and chips and salsa. Also our previous visit the food was barely edible. It's sad because the band and bar / service staff is doing a good job but they lost a customer being rude to my 75 year old father instead of just telling him they are sorry it was too loud for many of us or trying to adjust the levels.

It was busy, but it was a game day so to be expected from what I assumed was more of a "sports bar" anyway. Waitress wasn't too knowledgeable on the specials or what came with individual regular entree orders, but was quick to correct. I left happy. Great burger & beer. If you dig the sports-bar vibe, I'd recommend! Near neat downtown murals in Phoenix. (Pictured below)

For my YELPERS "check in" and get a Yelp Perk 10% off your meal !Came here for "weigh ins" for my daughters fight Venue has indoor and outdoor seating. Customer service is friendly. Venue is clean I ordered appetizers only. I got chips and salsa and an order of chicken chimichangas The chips were great, nice and freshThe salsa with the chips is "Ok" not really my preference when it comes to salsa and it seems to be "canned"I did not try the chimichangas but my daughter and my friend both said the chicken was very dry. There are several TVs located inside the venue There is a private parking lot located in the back The outdoor seating is covered that is great because it started raining later on The atmosphere inside was chill No drama Seems like a nice place to come and watch a game hang out with friends

Love the Wednesday night jam sessions at 8:30pm!!! Their house band, the Fred Boswell Jr. Experience hosts it & has other musicians & bands get a chance to play with them or perform their own songs. It's amazingly free! Still can't get over that. I was blown away by all the talent!!! I heard Funk, Pop, Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, & Jazz! The bartender (I've only seen one main one behind the bar), he's friendly & savvy; knows what to recommend & makes drinks very well. I had a few drinks; the Gummy Bear & the Capri-Sun shot. Both excellent. BTW I noticed other servers taking out drinks to tables etc. when it got busier, so that's cool. They serve food too but i have yet to try some. The interior is decent & there's a nice sized patio, free parking, safe location.

Nice place with a lot of history in downtown Glendale. They offer some great food items and the margaritas were awesome. If you get a chance the next time you're in downtown Glendale stop in. Enjoy the outside seating like we did for people watching.

Fun spot and great vibe! Weekly specials bring in a large crowd. Plan ahead as they get super busy after 9pm. The lines go 5 people deep. Everyone wants to come in and dance! The DJ spin fabulous music non-stop!!Starting with Salsa Thursdays dancers from all over The Valley come and share Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Cha-Cha moves. There's a free lesson starting at 7pm. Friday and Saturday nights spin off with Happy Hour old school, cumbias and top 40. Saturday nights are packed as the location is prime real estate to watch the Glendale Cruise from their outdoor patios. Lastly their food is tasty. They have revamped their menu but left many known Specialty Dishes for those wanting a taste of Mexico. Chef puts out good quality at a reasonable price. Servings are generous. I read mixed reviews but honestly go for yourself and give them a try. Expect busy and expect fun. Come and dance and eat the night away!

Was served chimichangas that had mold in them. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she apologized but make excuses. Tried to say they put cilantro in them so it could have been that. Definitely not.

We went there for their brunch Buffett after seeing a TikTok video. It was a decent size buffet but the food was just alright. The red chilaquiles, the sauce was too salty. The only things that was good was the flan and the menudo.
