This place just passes as average but with the price, service and how they nickle and dime you, I'd recommend going to other amazing Mexican food options in the area that have better food and better atmosphere. The food was very average. I got fish tacos and the fish was so salty. My partner got the carne asada burrito and thought it was pretty decent for what it was. Nothing special about the rice and beans. Something to also be mindful of is they charge after the first tiny basket of chips. The service was ok. Our server seemed bothered whenever we asked for anything (i.e enough silverware for the table, extra napkins). Also, maybe the time we went wasn't the high point of the day but the atmosphere is so stale. I haven't been to this place in years, it use to be the spot back in the day but I definitely have zero intention on coming back.

This is a very cute family establishment. The food was alright, not the best I've had and it was a bit underwhelming in terms of flavor, but they have lovely service. The inside is very cute and welcoming, and food came out quickly. I had the shrimp tacos, which were good but I would have preferred the tortillas cooked a bit more and for there to be less sauce.

Been coming here for many many years! Stopped coming during the pandemic because ordered takeout and the presentation wasn't good and it didn't taste good either. It's always better eating in the restaurant in person. The pico de gallo was way better pre-pandemic. We ordered two fajitas for two! We liked the steak better than the carne asada. The chicken asado was dry. Great service and fast seating! Very friendly servers too!

Food was decent and service was average but when I went to ask to use bathroom, the server (young Mexican guy) told me they didn't have one. I was surprised that a restaurant didn't have a bathroom so I asked him is there one outside, and he said no. This was part of the office building so his answers didn't make sense, so I pressed him, and he said I can just use balcony! I was getting little heated under the collar, and he finally pointed the bathroom to me! This guy was a first class as***le. He might've thought it was funny to mess with customers but no way I found it funny or acceptable in anyway.

Hey! Whole new menu! New chef, I'm guessing. This was always a place we'd go just to see a game in the bar and get a snack. Food didn't thrill anyone. But it's changed! Several new menus items... The tacos al pastor were excellent! And the old standbys have been given a taste-lift. Used to get the chicken burrito bowl. It was fine. Now, it's REALLY delicious. Even the meal presentations have been upgraded. And our mezcal margaritas were awesome. So glad we stopped in to realize we need to move this to the top of our list!

This is my go to spot for great Mexican cuisine! Staff are just as friendly as they were 20 years ago when I first started eating there when they were located by QFC! Thank you for another great meal tonight when I brought my dad and family

Love me some La Pamera. Been going here with the family for years and have never had a bad experience. Staff is familiar with us and we are greeted every visit. My go to meals are the Santa Fe Nachos and the Carne Asada burrito. I customize both of them to my liking and they are at my table in less than 10 minutes. Portion sizes are perfect and the food is always piping hot.Saturdays and Sundays can be a beat in terms of crowds but waits are never more than 15 minutes during peak times.

We came here with a large group reunion and so I wanted to be able to chat. We were meeting at 5pm so I was able to get a reservation the day before no problem. While they do not have a private room, our party of 15 was able to be seated together at one long table in our own part of the restaurant so we could get up and visit with people in our group without bothering others. Toward the end of our time, they did seat some people at the booths around our table, but it was not an issue at all. They did not rush us to order as people in our group were arriving at different times. They kept the complimentary chips and salsas full during this time. We ordered drinks and relaxed with those until they all arrived, then sat down to order our meals. They have a lot on the menu and I got the enchiladas suizas and they were pretty good. There was a lot of chicken and the sauce wasn't too creamy. The rice was a bit dry, but otherwise was it was a good meal. With a party our size, they only would do one check, but it wasn't a big deal. The service was great all night!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years, since we moved to Washington. Today (3/7) we had the opportunity and it was a less than stellar experience. I ordered a dish called the burrito bowl and it was really disappointing. I've included a photo of how it's described on the menu vs how it arrived to the table with guac as additional $3 charge on top of the $16 price for this meal. I expected it to be a bowl of rice and beans and some chicken with guac, and was served a bowl full of warm soggy iceberg lettuce with, to be fair, more chicken than I expected but very little rice/beans. I was confused and wanted to confirm with our waitress if this was the burrito bowl or maybe something different I had accidentally ordered, and when she came back around a while later I asked her and she responded with a lot of frustration that it was indeed the right meal. I apologized and she walked away. I'm not someone who is going to ask for a different meal when the service was already poor. We paid and I requested a receipt to be printed at the end of our meal, but didn't receive one so I decided to wait a few minutes at the host counter. When the host came back to the counter, she was exceptionally rude to us. After waiting a few more minutes there we grabbed our receipt, and left unhappy with the quality of our meals and overall service level.

The experience: We had a group event at La Palmera on a week day evening. It was a little hard to find parking as the town center was busy. La Palmera is located on the second floor of the building. Our server was friendly and we were served quickly. Our group also appreciated that the Mariner's game was playing. There are many tvs around, similar to a sports bar!Food: The food was decent. The shrimp were a little cold and very bland. The steak was more flavorful, but slightly overcooked. The sautéed veggies that it came with were delicious.
